Mount Coolidge Motel

Quaint and serene. If I have to pick two words to articulate how I felt in mt.coolidge motel. The backyard has a creek flowing across and the fall colors are spectacular. Waking upto the picturesque view gives a great start to the day. The room is super comfortable and spacious. It's cozy to snuggle up after a tiring day on the kancamagus highway. Definitely gonna stay here next year too.

One of the cleanest motel I ever stayed at. They take cleanliness and customers satisfaction seriously. Great scenic review view with campfire and swing to relax! Employees/owners are very nice and helpful!

Mt. Coolidge Motel: we stayed in a comfortable and spacious room furnished with 2 double beds (which were quite comfortable), four sitting/dining chairs & a small table, a desk & chair, and a mini fridge. The bathroom was large. The furnishings had a retro vibe and everything was in impeccable condition and perfectly clean. The grounds were also beautifully maintained. I absolutely loved the Mount Coolidge Motel. Upon checking we were greeted by Ana, I met Dev and the kids over the weekend too. Such a great family! So happy to see a family run business. The room was very spacious, extremely clean, beds comfortable , loved that the windows opened not to mention the stream behind our room was awesome. There were benches to sit on and enjoy the peace and quiet just listening to the stream. Also a fire pit, we did not use it but pretty cool to have the option. The location is great too! They were accommodating for my late check in. Room was clean nice view of the River from your back window. Great location as there are a few trails that are walking distance from the hotel. Also very close to Franconia notch state park, I’d recommend them if you’re looking central location with peace of mind. If I’m ever back in the region I’d stay again.

10 Harleys, a truck and trailer. It's hard to find a place that can accommodate all of us. So a few of us stood at this hotel. And I'm glad to say my family was the lucky ones that stayed here. Their cabins are huge. We stayed in cabin 14. Three rooms. My 3 year old daughter had a great time playing with the owner's daughter. Riding their little bikes around and just having fun. It's a basic motel-- nothing fancy but clean and the owner is extremely nice and helpful. When we mentioned the lighting wasn't working, he immediately came in to install new lighting (plug in lights), he wanted us to be happy. Behind the rooms is a beautiful stream of rushing water, we were able to eat near the stream of water, we set up a BBQ ( there's a quiet secluded place with a swing bench and pit and place to make a BBQ. I would definitely recommend to others to stay here- your won't regret it!

Our third trip to Mt. Coolidge. The new owners, Dev and Ana, were wonderful! Room was clean and I can see they are busy making some renovations. Can't wait to return next summer!!

This motel is beautifully-run by a nice family. Clean, updated and welcoming. The room is lovely and comfortable, very modern. The outdoor pool is well cared for, with towels on hand. There is a lovely seating area near the river with a fire pit that they welcomed us to use. Nicely watered lawn, LED lights by the pool. Everything is nearby.
Let me deal with the obvious: It is a small, 60s era motel. You may not realize that this is a good thing. In this day and age, it is easy to overlook the charms of motels in favor of economy chain hotels

We arrived at Mt. Coolidge on a motorcycle trip to the white mountains, At check in we were greeted very pleasantly. Anna and Dev the are the owners and could not do enough to make sure everything was just rite . The rooms were clean and comfy . The grounds are well kept and it was a great stay all around. This motel at first appears to be just another basic motel worth 3 stars at best. The TV is small, the refrigerator is small, etc., but ... it was very clean and in excellent repair. A big plus is the stream behind the room which provides a restful background sound throughout the night.

Hint: the standard cabins have an odd layout - three bedrooms, two with double beds and one a single but very little free floor space. Unless you need the extra beds, go for the queen room or the queen deluxe room.

Most notable, the friendly proprietors who elevate this basic motel and make it a fun place to stay. Loved the coffee always brewing in the office and the crystal clear river flowing out back. It's a very clean motel to-boot. The one drawback, a tiny bathtub which doesn't take into consideration anyone with a wide rear load.

It's a little retro, your basic roadside motel, but real nice. It was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. We stayed there before and after a White Mountains backpack. Kevin, the owner, was very nice and helpful with advice about relaxing in the pool after hiking and where we could get the best burgers and beer. It's in a quieter end of the North Woodstock-Lincoln area. We will definitely go back there.

In the New Hampshire mountain areas, small towns like Lincoln main roads are lined with motels like this one. We typically stay in more resort-like places when we travel so choosing a small, independently owned motel was a challenge. But thanks to Yelp and other review sites we decided to make a choice based on actual customer experience reviews. Mount Coolidge motel is one of those little places we would previously drive by and easily overlook, but we actually found this small property quite charming. From the moment we walked in to check-in and obtain our room key, until the time we checked out, we were VERY pleased with our experience!
We're already planning another longer stay because of our experience. The owner (the Mrs.) greeted us upon entering in such a laid back and pleasant manner, leaving us knowing that our stay would be great. The rooms were VERY spacious. Especially the bathrooms. Outstanding stay at this adorable motel! We stayed in one of the cabins and our family loved our weekend away! The cabins are immaculate. Kevin and Vicki are extremely hospitable and attentive to every detail. If you are lucky enough to reserve one of the cabins- you will not regret it! I'm sure the other rooms are extremely clean as well. Great location too!

Our family came up for the Highland Games which is a busy time of year. Kevin was extremely accommodating and friendly. The rooms are quaint and while a bit dated are very clean. We loved the brook running in the back. There was plenty of parking and a breakfast place in walking distance. Make reservations during busy season, they fill up fast!

This place was absolutely adorable! The owners were very friendly and helpful. The "room" was more like a small cottage with two separate bedrooms and a lovely screened in porch complete with a fire pit in the rear yard with a beautiful view of the river. The coffee in the office was soooo good! I wish I would have asked what he was brewing ;)

This place is great.
The rooms were pretty big, very clean and inexpensive.

The owners were really friendly and you could tell they cared about their guests having a good experience.

They do have chairs to sit outside in a covered space right outside your room, an outdoor pool.

The beds aren't super comfortable and the rooms are a little dated but hey you really can't complain for the price.

I would absolutely recommend it if you are in the area and in need of an inexpensive place to stay for a night or two.

1. Room are clean, well kept, and provide ample space for families.
2. All room are lake side and provide a nice cool breeze all night
3. The place is well maintained, heated pool, BBQ pits, and chair to sit outside.
4. Minutes away for major attractions (flume gorge) and restaurants and grocery store (price chopper).

Highly recommended. Call in advance to make reservation.

We were looking for a good motel to stay at in the white mountains last minute! Pretty much everyone was booked up but I managed to snag a room here. I did research beforehand on Trip Advisor and this motel received the highest ratings of any motel in the area.

The motel is family run and the owners are super friendly and genuinely concerned about your stay and well being.

We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay with kids for a long weekend, and found some great reviews of the Mt. Coolidge Motel online so we gave it a shot. It didn't disappoint. Our room was spotless, the location convenient, the pool wonderful, the rates reasonable, and the owners incredibly nice. What more do you need? If we're back in the area, we'll certainly stay there again.
