Just know they never locked the gate at night. Not safe. Anyone can walk in. My roommate's car was broken into and items were stolen. The car next to mine (in view of street) had the window shattered and the radio stolen. They almost towed my car because of their own clerical issue (and the sticker was near impossible to remove).

In addition: they are trying to bill us without sending the vendor invoice and now threatening to send to collections. They are charging for more than our deposit, but they haven't sent any info on their vendors even though YOU ARE LEGALLY ENTITLED TO IT. They

It has now been about 3 weeks since I moved into Palmetto apartments and Elsy and Ana have made the process very easy. Since I called to inquire about the apartments to scheduling a tour, everything has been a breeze. Thank you to Elsy and Ana for being so accommodating as we moved in within a week of applying. Apartments are well maintained and very enjoyable. Highly recommend.

I recently moved to Palmetto with my family and I can't express how much the staff has done for me. Elsy & Ana did an amazing job walking me through the steps of leasing, how to load my laundry card, and even setting up my online tenant portal. They even walked us over to our assigned carports, and had our storage cupboard cleaned out. They've made transitioning into a new home such a breeze!
Soon after moving-in, I submitted a maintenance request to have a light replaced, and Oscar contacted me promptly to set-up a date and time to service my home, and finished with 30-minutes or so. He was such

We are electrical contractors or vendors for Ana and Elsy at Palmetto Apts. Both women are nice easy to work with and professional. Anytime there’s any electrical problem they want to correct it int the best interest of the tenant and property not necessarily looking for the cheapest or to just bandaid the problem. My overall experience has been they represent the property at the highest level with the great attention to detail and interest to both the property and the tenants.

As much as I understand people working during the times of CoVID , I do not appreciate maintenance taken being taken care around apartment without notifying its residence . Shut off water supplies without notifying people while working from home , is the worst that could happen to you . What is property management doing with collecting all our email ids during signing the lease ? When they cannot trigger an email notification before commencing any such activities that could affect regular activities . Highly unprofessional ! I do not pay $4k monthly for this kind of services .

1. Poor Facility: The gas-burning heater is in the living room and the heat is unreachable to the bedroom in the winter time.
2. Terrible Landlords: They constantly alter key parts of the so-called living agreement, including your before-move-out notice time. At first, they seduce you may enjoy a one-week or two-week flexible move-out notice, but they change that to a month in the middle. Be sure to look and sign a living agreement. Stay away from "Happy Roommate" or "Bay Area Roommate" or "Tony and Nina"! The couple simply made promises that are never delivered and

Beware that the new management are liars. If you complain about something they lie and accuse you itself and try to shut you up rather than fixing the problem. Further updating my review from 2 to 1 due recent negative behavior of management and rowdy neighbors. Instead of helping cut noise, they've falsely accused me itself of being the noise maker and given cease notice to stop sending them email about my issue. I was trying to seek help from management but instead they started lying and accusing me. Since I'm not supposed to email them about the issue as per their notice and the

5 reasons with you should NOT rent at Palmetto Apartments:
1. Zero flexibility during a pandemic - I was laid off at 5 months pregnant and my husband had to relocate for his job due to covid-19. After explaining our situation multiple times they offered zero flexibility, held us to the full 5K lease break fees, and we were told if we did not pay it they would send us to collections.
2. Property managers who took over for Blanca are dishonest - after paying the full 5K penalty in addition to a full months rent during our last month I inquired about the cleaning standard that we would be held to

I just want to take the time to share that living at Palmetto Apartments has been wonderful. We have been living at Palmetto close to two years now and the only reason we are leaving is because we purchased our home. We will miss living here and the great people that live here. It is a very peaceful and nice apartments for the price. We moved here when my boy was only a few months and now he's 2 years old. To top it off, Palmetto has an amazing property manager-Blanca! She is just an amazing person and so easy to talk to. We have never in our life had such a great property manager like Blanca

Palmetto is a well managed complex. The best thing about Palmetto is the manager, Blanca. I've lived here for four years and she is consistently responsive, consciousness, and professional.

We lived at Palmetto in a one bedroom unit with our cat for 1.5 years and it was quite nice. Expensive, yes, but nice.

Pros
- Blanca (the office manager) is fantastic. Super nice and really helpful.
- Location: 10 mins walking from Caltrain. Can walk to Target, Starbucks, the gym, Mamacita's and other stores/restaurants.
- Move out cleaning fee is totally reasonable & required, which means you don't have to clean your apartment after you move out.
- Landscaping: lots of flowers. Citrus trees. Designated pet area.
- Covered parking (although spots are tight and it's common to

Been there as frequent visitor and possible tenant. I was not expecting much of this complex, as my expectations from the very expensive yet decrepit Mountain View apartment complexes are not too high, unfortunately. However, given the fact that my friend is renting a room at a 3-bedroom apartment and was very well maintained, clean and has tons of light and view to nice and tall palm trees, this is a place i would consider to move to, to be closer a train station. Even if dated, the landscape is very nice (maybe because I love palm trees) and does not seem to be one of those over cramped complexes

The apartment is really old with no other amenities beside small and unclean swimming pool. Only one person available in the lease office, who is not always there. Laundry is supper old and never cleaned. The dryer doesn't work properly. Slow maintenance when things break down in the house. The heater doesn't even circulate. Water some comes with dirt, especially in the morning. Now they start to charge for water and garage fee. There are a lot of noises since the wall is so thin. There was burglar broke into the lease office building. The management only change the unit lock not the

The complex was built in the 50s and shows its age. The heater leaks gas, the outlets are ungrounded, and the windows are single-pane.

Even though the walls and ceilings are filled with asbestos and the paint is full of lead (you have to sign a contract saying you're ok with that before moving in), the insulation blows. Somehow the units are sweltering hot in the summer and freezing cold in the winter, even when it's moderate outside.

Land must have been really expensive last century, because the units are built really, really close together. From my balcony, I can see what my neighbors

The Palmetto Apartments aren't much to look at from the outside but provide a quiet community inside their gates. Bottom line...your still in an apartment.

A few up sides:
friendly neighbors and staff
large patios
reasonable green space
Gated parking for resident spaces

Downsides:
shared laundry facilities with machines that show their age
if your apartment has windows to California there is a great deal do street noise
not much guest parking (only 4 spots and street parking)
Tiny pool without much seating
No gym

Things we love:
Saratoga Capitol Inc takes care of the property and every one starting from Kim at corporate, Blanca at the leasing office of Freddy in maintenance are the best team one would hope to have in a rental property. They are Super friendly, super fast response to maintenance request, and super helpful.
Each year they organize a free BBQ for all the residence where we can meet our neighbors and eat delicious food "this

So far so good. We moved into a 700 sq foot 1 bed 1 bath on the 2nd floor, and everything was in good condition when we moved in. Closet size is a big problem, given if you have 2 people living here. Be prepared to squeeze stuff in. Hallway closet is nicely sized to catch spillover. Other than that, good sized everything, no complaints on quality.

The main negative here is bathroom is missing a fan. It can get steamy (and stinky) sometimes in here, and the only refuge is the open window or opening your door the entire time. Wish they cut down on bathroom size and gave larger closet or room. Some
