At Elevate, special care is devoted to the evaluation and treatment for foot conditions, alignment issues, and performance due to biomechanical insufficiencies. We understand the importance of biomechanics of mal-alignment, asymmetry, or other pathologies which may lead to poor function and pain. Each orthoses is unique and hand-made from a 3-D scan of the patient's foot and prescription written by our certified podiatrists.
NOTE: Please be aware that we will make every attempt to bill your health insurance company for our services. However, in the event that your health insurance company denies our claim for any reason, or assigns the allowed charges to your annual deductible or co-insurance, or if you do not have health insurance, you will be responsible for charges ranging from $200 to $750 depending on the services provided.

Thank you so much to Dr. Sahra Sellers and the rest of her team. Before I came to Elevate Podiatry, I was at the end of my patience with my ankle issues as nothing seemed to work and other health professionals (orthopedic surgeons, MDs) were pointing me to surgery, but I decided to go to an actual podiatrist who focuses on foot issues and found Elevate online. I have come to Elevate for a few different problems, and each time it ends up wasting a months of time and hundreds of dollars. It really seems like Dr Choe is just guessing at treatments, rather than actually solving the underlying problem. She generally prescribes a fire hose of treatments (stretches, over-the-counter orthotics, foot braces), but none of them ever solved my problems. In the end, I would go to a physical therapist, and they would fairly quickly figure out what is wrong and start me on a treatment plan that actually worked.

I have been an athlete for much of my life, and have been suffering from what two other doctors told me was early arthritis in my left foot (years of kickboxing, playing football, etc.), and that there wasn't much that I'd be able to do. The front desk clerk was not friendly or helpful. The medical assistant, Isis, was superb. Dr. Sellers rushed out of the examining room and not paying attention to the issues I told her medical assistant I was here to talk to her about and get treatment for. She sold me a plantar fasciitis sleeve for $25 that was too small and that caused my foot to swell badly and also, badly irritated my tailor bunion. Dr. Sellers suggested that I buy a pair of New Balance Sneakers for $140. I told her I did not like to wear closed toed shoes because my feet are extremely sweat. She suggested I buy padded cotton

I first came to Elevate and Dr. Sellers a couple of years ago when I started having a lot of pain with my right foot. Dr. Sellers was quickly able to identify the cause, get me out of pain, and offer up tons of insight and options for moving forward. Recently, I started having a similar issue with my left foot and long story short, my treatment plan ended up including a bunionectomy with metatarsal osteotomy. I am still recovering from the latter and it's going well.

I first visited Elevate in February 2021 after experiencing prolonged foot pain, with a referral from my primary doctor. The moment I stepped in the door I was in excellent hands, Dr Choe is so compassionate and knowledgeable, and her team (especially Michael) has been incredibly helpful and kind, especially in helping me navigate some very challenging and complicated issues with my insurance. Waste of time and money. Dr.Choe spent less than 5 min with me to discuss an injured toe and told me to send x-rays for her to review. Didn't even take the time to confirm receipt of my x-rays, I had to follow up three times to ask. And never called to share any kind of comments or acknowledgement of her review of my x-rays. They charged me $170 for the visit. Find a Podiatrist practice that cares.

Dr Sellers & Dr Choe are the absolute best - friendly, thoughtful and dedicated to making sure their patients feel at ease and understand what's going on with their feet.
The staff are all helpful and friendly too. I called up with an urgent issue when they opened and they were able to fit me in the same morning.

Like everyone else says, the receptionist is rude, incompetent, and mansplains inaccurate information. It's amazing this place stays in business, they NEVER answer the phone and rarely call back when you leave multiple messages - even when I had doctors call and request information from them. Aggressively rude.

I was having serious issues with my foot health and also embarrassed about how things were looking. Dr Sellers made me feel immediately comfortable and was able to give me quick relief to some of the pain and discomfort I was feeling. Her whole team was amazing. Foot health is more important to your general health than you would think. I highly recommend you get down to Dr Sellers and have your feet expertly looked after! Thank you Dr Sellers and team!

Rude, insulting office-boy 'Michael' needs to be slapped around big time. He kept me on the phone for 8 mins posing as a medically-knowledgeable resource, then hung up when it became obvious that he was WAY out of his lane.
There are a couple of other 1-star reviews citing this ill-mannered office boy. I doubt that either of the Drs will ever see this review; too bad -- its hurting what might otherwise be a successful practice.

Came here with a referral from my primary care doctor. Was my first visit to any indoor location during COVID-19 times, but the experience was ok. I arrived and went up an elevator to the third floor, and noticed the patient were scheduled so we wouldn't see another in the lobby, which was nice and safe. When I was placed into my room, I answered some questions with the medical assistant before she came back a second time to do xrays. I'm looking to get my bunion surgery done during the pandemic since we won't be going anywhere anytime soon, and finally decided to cure the pain with

Downgrading EP to a 1-star. I've ceased my visits for over a 1.5 months and I still get bills.
After just two visits, I've received over 4 statements. Every statement does not describe what you're being charged for and you can only leave a EP a voicemail to discuss charges - and they don't call you back. The problem is your bill has a due date so you're kind of forced to pay it or else they'll probably go to collections.
I just want EP out of my life and it seems I can't escape them because they have my insurance information and address.

I have seen a myriad of podiatrists and Dr. Sellers at Elevate is by and far the best.
She is intelligent, resourceful and kind. She has been able to diagnose and aid me with foot pain that other doctors disregarded or mistreated. She is easily reachable, responsive to emails and has a phenomenal memory.
I saw her during a difficult period of my life and her bedside manner as well as her expertise were such a warm welcome. She was able to see issues others were not and was receptive to my own attachment to cute shoes. I’d recommend anyone to her, she is exceptional.

I was referred here by my doctor for a plantar wart. I made it clear that I was on a very limited income due to the fact that I was an intern, explained I was not sure what my insurance would cover, and asked for a heads up if they anticipated anything that would cost me a lot of money. I had roughly 6 appointments with a copay, each appointment lasted 5-30 minutes (the 5 minute one was a "we need to wait, come back in a couple of weeks"). Long story short, the wart remained and I was eventually hit with $400-450 bills for EACH appointment, including the 5 minute one. It took me months to pay it

You know when you take time off from work to go to the doctors and get a solution to your problem? My biggest piece of advice is to make the appointment somewhere else.
Don't get me wrong, the doctor is very knowledgeable and smart, i would give her 10/5 stars, but the practice has clearly outgrown what she's capable of handling.
I made an appointment to treat my plantar fasciitis because my main doctor said this is the best doctor to help. I came in a couple weeks ago and had a great experience and was excited to fix this with my doctor.

I was having a lot of pain in my left foot that left me limping. Based off of good yelp reviews, I decided to try Elevate. My first appointment was with Dr. Sellers, She looked at my foot, had ex rays taken and told me that I had what's almost a stress fracture simply from wear and tear over the years, but that it would be fixable over time. She sold me a post op bootie that I had to limp around Chicago in the snow in and told me to come back to get custom orthotics. These cost about $500, but I figured anything to stop the pain, so I set up a follow up appointment.

Misdiagnosed. Failed to send in proper paperwork in time and my MRI authorization was declined. Foot got so bad that I ended up going to Urgent Care two weeks after misdiagnosis. Elevate Podiatry told me there was nothing wrong with me and the problem was in my head.
Ended up going to a different doctor that got same-day MRI authorization and a correct diagnosis. Save yourself and go to Financial District Foot and Ankle Center!!!! Dr. Jenny Sanders and her staff are kind, take the time to understand the issue, and have state-of-the-art technology. AVOID ELEVATE

Not even certain how I injured my foot, but Dr. Susan Choe saw me on the same day.
I received amazing care. The diagnostic process was thorough and Dr. Choe was very patient as she explained what was wrong, how things would heal and gave me excellent suggestions to minimize discomfort during recovery.
I have fully recovered and am very grateful for her care. I give Dr. Susan Choe my highest rating for intelligence and taking the time to explain everything to me and answering all of my questions. It could not have been a better experience.

Elevate was recommended to me by a friend, and I would 100% recommend them to others as well. I have visited Elevate and Dr. Tsou for a little over a year now and could not be more impressed with the the environment, the staff, and the care I received.
The environment - the appointment process is super easy which says a lot for a doctor's office, and they made the insurance portion very visible and easy to understand as well. The office itself is in a convenient location, has a nice ambiance, and uses state of the art technology.

A rude, unprofessional male receptionist doublebooked my last appointment, then cancelled right before I arrived.
Oh well I needed a day off. Upon arrival of the rescheduled apt the receptionists very rudely demanded that I pay for both visits, stating that was their policy!? Go figure!
Needless to day Johnathan and Dr. Choe agreed with me and waived the charges.
I just tried to make an apt to have my failed pair remade, despite the fact that my insurance carrier no longer endorses them and at a cost of ~$500 plus an additional $100 a visit.
THEN the receptionist told that I had to pay

I’m a patient here - not sure why some of the reviews are so terrible! From my experience, the place is clean and newly renovated, the staff is nice and punctual with appointments. The doctor diagnosed me and walked me through all the options, and we set up a checkup appointment which also went well. She was very professional and knowledgeable. No complaints from me.

Had a tour in this place few weeks ago. It is pristinely clean, has relevant products, wide variety of foot related services (these includes foot surgery), excellent customer service (complementary coffee and refreshments at the arrival), attentive staff, very convenient location in the heart of SF (a block away from historic downtown SF), reasonable pricing. My only complaint is their narrow opening hours. So, making appointment is a must.
