I guess I got too comfortable during Covid stay at home and started walking around the yard barefoot. Well I ended up with painful plantar warts, so just don't do it! I tried otc wart removers but they didn't go away. I actually didn't want to see a doctor since I figured he/she would pull out a scalpel to dig it out and I didn't want anything to do with that.

After enduring weeks of pain, I decided it was time to see a podiatrist. Checking reviews here on Yelp, It looked like many podiatrists cater to athletes and their injuries. I didn't want my plantar warts to be

He's unlike any doctor I've sever seen (and I have some notable specialists).  He's warm, pleasant, and unhurried . . . and clearly in command of these highly complex feet (compared to knees, hips, shoulders, etc.)   He gently disabused me of my theory-of-the-case and solved my problem with a simple solution.  (My wife, who is an RN, happened to be with me.  She was so impressed, she made an appointment on the way out the door.)

Dr Grogsn is my guy no doubt. He is super clear and easy to understand and even laughs at my jokes which are usually pretty awesome :)
He’s a perfect combo of proficiency and humanity. I’ll come back every time

Dr Kirk Grogan is awesome!--i have seen (unfortunately) my fair share of podiatrists--he is by far and away the best one--plus is very empathetic, and understands your issues and takes care of them--the office support staff also great--all around a very good experience.

Professional, attentive, and pragmatic - your feet will always thank you after a visit with Dr. Grogan. In the many years I’ve been his patient, I’ve always found Dr. Grogan to give the best medical advice for my active lifestyle — finding smart ways to keep me doing what I love to do (like running and swimming) injury free. He is a great listener who takes time to discover what your goals are and then looks for ways to get to “yes.” It’s both refreshing and empowering to find a medical professional who looks for effective non surgical alternatives to challenges to keep you moving and

This is a long overdue shout-out to Dr. Grogan, as I have had numerous successful trips to his office over the years. He's taken care of various toenail issues for me, including one pretty sensitive ingrown nail situation most recently. When he works expertly on one's foot, he's also empathetic to what might be painful and strives to avoid any suffering! I'm really struck by how friendly and personable he is too--something you don't always find in a busy doctor. This friendliness extends to his staff as well--it's a positive experience all around.

My former podiatrist left the area, so I needed to find another one, who was "in network" with my insurance plan. After an exhaustive search, I found Dr. Kirk Grogan, and I couldn't be happier! I found his web site and staff to be excellent. I was able to make my appointment online, as well as connect with staff member Courtney who was kind enough to email me the new patient forms. Their phone follow-up was (and is) very good! My first appointment was February 28, 2019. The office is easy to find and has good parking beneath the building. I found Dr. Grogan's office clean and

Someone said he's smart and funny (totally the opposite). This is the worse podiatrist I have ever been to, takes xrays even before he sees a patient and knows why you are there (a money trap). Then he doesn't even inspect your feet and just looks at them from 10 feet away and makes a diagnosis which was totally wrong, I then went to an expert in the field.
I would warn everyone to do the research and find an excellent podiatrist (Parnassus Heights Podiatry is excellent and Alice Knee is the one of the best in the country.

Words cannot describe the relief I felt when I heard the words from Dr. Grogan, "You definitely do NOT need surgery and you don't need to have your foot shortened!".

After having not one but two podiatrists tell me that the re-occurring wart was going to be a constant companion for the rest of my life, that my left foot was misaligned causing warts and even with surgery, it would come back, I was down in the doldrums. I had gone from being extremely active to spending 2 months WFH and the most effort spent in walking to the kitchen to get food/water. Such was the searing pain

Dr. Grogan is quite the find. He is warm, efficient, smart and caring.
He listens well which is a plus in itself and insisted I get a second opinion regarding a fairly serious problem. I had gone to another podiatrist before him and had found him the complete opposite.

Also I'm a health care professional and he was all the above even before he learned what I did for a living.

He actually did a surgery on my left foot and I'm sooooo happy and walkin
fine now. Love the guy.

Smart and Funny two qualities I adore in a doctor!

He's a Foot Psychic who can tell you so much about you via your feet!

He knows so many health related things and not just about feet - our conversation bounced from Fibromyalgia & Ehlers Danlos to the benefits of going gluten free, which we both are. When I told Dr. Grogan that ever since I ditched wheat I have hardly had any ingrown toenails and he told me that it's because my toes are no longer inflamed and puffy from the rat poison (that what I call gluten) and therefore the nails can grow straight! Who knew that this would

I have been seeing Dr Grogan for over ten plus years. I've been in retail for thirty years and when I first came into his office I was near death. I had two enormous bone spurs on the tops of my feet and a lot of other foot problems. I had ignored my feet for years. Well I've been seeing him regularly over the years and my feet are better than they were before I began in retail. He's a knowledgeable doctor and he explains everything so that you feel confident in his treatment. I've read a few bad reviews about him. Many stating that his bad side manner is his only great

I wish I could concur with all the enthusiastic Yelpers on Dr. Grogan. I went in recently and was told I had gout. I was put on a course of Prednisone. The first round did nothing to alleviate my pain. I went in again and Dr. Grogan was not available so I visited a colleague of his who put me on yet another round of Prednisone. Still no change. I then have called the office several times over that least three weeks explaining the situation and requesting a call back. I have been routinely snubbed by this doctor who is apparently too busy. I cannot take time off to make yet a third visit. I&apos

I found Dr Kirk Grogan on Yelp and his reviews were excellent. So either he's that good or he's having all his friends and relatives review him . Turns out he's really that good. Very caring and professional, he guided me through surgery that went very well. Nothing but praise for him and his staff.

Attentive, Available, Awesome
When I started having pain on the ball of my right foot, I am so happy I turned to Dr. Kirk Grogan. It turned out to be a neuroma, which required surgery, after several attempts to otherwise address it.
I could not have found a more caring and capable surgeon. Dr. Grogan gave me his email address and even cell phone number so that, if I had any questions leading up to the surgery or afterwards, I could ask him directly. I did email him several times, and his advice was incredibly informative and helpful.
Before surgery, I could barely walk. Twelve weeks later, I

I have been a patient of Dr. Grogan's for several years. His kind and compassionate manner go a long way, especially since visiting a podiatrist is not usually the most pleasant trip. I've referred other patients his way, who come back with positive comments and rave reviews, reinforcing my perspective.

Just visited him this week, following a 2-3 year lapse in visits. It was as if I was just treated by him recently. He's knowledgeable and accommodating, and makes you feel like your care and well being really matters, without coming right out and saying so.

Great guy, terrific

My experience with Dr. Grogan has compelled me to inform write my second yelp review ever, and first negative one. I highly recommend finding another doctor.

I'm shocked to read positive reviews on here of Dr. Grogan. If you look closely, most of the reviews are around bedside manners. Yes, Dr. Grogan is a guy who is easy to have a conversation with. But he's a doctor, not a sales person, and his reviews are over-indexed on his people skills, not his ability to be a good doctor.

I've had chronic foot pain for 3 years from a traumatic achilles injury. I looked on yelp to try
