Services
Cricket discovered the joy of energetic Pilates workouts while living in Australia in 2007. She did a class with multiple reformers in the room and loved the energy that the group brought to Pilates. She knew fit folks in the US would love the mix of Classical Pilates with energetic workouts. Once certified in Pilates from BASI, Cricket opened the first Mighty with friends in 2009 in San Francisco.
Get the Mighty experience at home, on the road, or just about anywhere with our wide variety of LIVE online workout classes - including mat Pilates, strength training, cardio, Pilates on the Reformer and more! Our dynamic instructors offer fine-tuned, personalized instruction with small class sizes of less than 20 per class that allow you to connect with the instructor and with one another.
Our dynamic instructors are here to help, whatever your fitness level! We know the Pilates machines can look a bit intimidating at first so we have comfy (but challenging!) first steps. We have lots of first timers in our Mighty Foundations classes to get a hang of our style and familiarize yourself with our equipment.
TRX is physically challenging but easy to get started if you have never done it before. Created by a former Navy SEAL, this system develops balance, strength, flexibility and core stability all at the same time. This challenging workout that uses the resistance of your own body weight and gravity using TRX Suspension Training.
We use Pilates equipment by Balanced Body studio reformers, towers and springboards. We use the springs on a YogaWall in Sherman Oaks. We have selected the top-of-the-line models from Balanced Body and think you will enjoy the equipment as much as we do. Classes can seem like a bit of a higher price point - because our classes have no more than 9 people and are taught by the best instructors on the best equipment.

I'm new to LA from NYC and very picky about my pilates. I am so lucky to have found Mighty Pilates! Unlike a typical classical pilates class, Mighty Pilates has an athletic twist that gets your heart rate up and gives you that hurt-so-good soreness where you feel like you've gotten a great workout. The studio feels very Covid-safe with machines that are spaced out and a wall of open windows. I think I've found my new weekly Pilates spot!

I recently started classes at Mighty Pilates, Santa Monica, recommended by my former instructor at Pilates Place which closed during the pandemic. I've had 3 teachers, all excellent. Great free parking on the roof. There are lots of classes available. The reformers are the best I've used. Very clean studios with lots of outside air from myriad windows that open. Studios are spacious so the reformers are spread out.

I am really loving this studio! It's my first experience with reformers and the workouts feel so amazing. I feel like I am working muscles I didn't know existed but in a really holistic way. I feel like I am being pushed and getting a great workout but not to the point that it's not enjoyable. I really enjoy it! I've mainly been going to the beginners classes so far and Ava is just amazing! She really makes it less intimidating than I thought it would be. I've been practicing here for several years... both in the old space and in the beautiful new space and I love it. The new space is gorgeous with ample free parking, two studios and is light open and airy. Not only does this gives an elevated experience that you would want when investing in a regular pilates practice, but also works well for covid protocols. Wide range of classes and I thoroughly enjoy the teachers. All of these things combined have made me increase the number of times I've been going and it's been a life saver for my mind and body.

Booty and core class on the weekend is my go to workout class! I'm five month post partum and working on regaining my abdominal muscles and this class is perfect. The class is challenging, but do-able. The teachers and staff are all very supportive and I love the parking is super convenient.

Very impressive! I cannot stress what a gem this place is, as it's really hard to find a great Pilates studio on the Westside that:
1) Uses Classic Pilates reformers (Balanced Body), NOT those awful, giant Lagree megaformers that have gotten popular in recent years and is a Pilates trend. In my opinion, Lagree is only good if you're super tall and/or extremely advanced/muscular/Crossfitter/male or you yourself are a Pilates instructor. For the regular folks, Classic reformers are still the best! At this studio, they keep the reformers nicely spread apart in a large room with about a

I took my first class here today and LOVED it, the drive there is nice and the area is super cute, lots to do nearby! Loved that they had a parking lot with tons of spots which is rare in Santa Monica! The facility is gorgeous and clean and the instructor was amazing :) can't wait to go back and get my sweat on!

Really great pilates studios. They have classes for all levels. My personal favorite is the moonlight class which is at night with candles - a really great wind-down from the day.
The instructors are all very friendly and super helpful throughout the classes.
They also have their own parking lot with about 20 spots, so it makes parking a breeze.

I just started taking their outdoor classes. Now that we are back indoors, I have a few of my favorites. Nathanel is a great teacher who works with all levels of people! He has a great encouraging demeanor.
Christy P is another one of my favorites. She works again on all levels & helps adjust the machine for those who may have an injury or two.
Celia is my other favorite instructor. All 3 of them adjust you if need be which helps eliminate injuries!! Im glad they added more classes!!

I paid for a class and wasn’t able to take it because I didn’t have socks and wasn’t going to be forced into spending $15 on their socks. I asked for a credit so I could come back with my own socks. The employee didn’t even consider it, have me zero grace and further had an attitude of disdain. I wouldn’t dream of going back there. It was the worst workout experience I’ve had anywhere. Wish I could give zero stars. AWFUL

I really wanted to love this space as I'm desperate to get back on a reformer as my previous studio is still closed :(
I tried a few different classes and unfortunately the machines are really old and offer little to no resistance.
Also, the transition times between moves took way too long and I felt as though there was a lot of wasted time in the classes. Unfortunately this studio is not for someone looking for a challenging, upbeat, fast paced workout

JumpBoard Pilates at this studio by far has been one of my most challenging and enjoyable Pilates class I've taken. Great class to take early in the morning to start off your day. My booty and abs were really feeling it and I love it (still feeling it two days later). The instructor, Leslie, was energetic and did a great job at adjusting my form when needed. Music was perfect for the occasion. It was a quick and intense 50 minutes.

Mighty Pilates in Santa Monica is an absolute dream. It's equally relaxing and motivating, the reformers are top notch, and the studio is breathtaking. If you're looking for a class that's just as much of an experience as it is a workout, Mighty is the place for you. The instructors are experienced, attentive, driven and kind. There's truly a class for everyone-- beginners, experts, and people simply looking to spice up their routine. On top of that, Fridays they offer a fun little happy hour class ;). I couldn't recommend the place more!
