Blyth-Templeton Academy is an academically rigorous 9-12th grade high school in the heart of Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. We take active learning to a whole new level. Expanding beyond our location at Hill Center, we use Washington, D.C. as our classroom.
Whether it's visiting the U.S. Capitol as part of a history lesson, exploring math at the National Building Museum, or cultivating a community garden around the corner, we see everything around us as an opportunity to learn and grow.We tackle two subjects at a time, focusing on each for several hours a day - an approach that allows students to achieve deeper learning.

Services
The mission of Blyth-Templeton Academy is to transform the lives of its students by providing highly individualized, experiential education in small classes with dedicated and skilled educators. We are small enough to be personally in touch with every individual, yet large enough to offer a broad range of courses.
Every aspect of our academic program - from our schedule to our curriculum - is tailored to meet our students where they are and challenge them to go above and beyond so they graduate ready to pursue their passions. By approaching only two subjects each term in a four-term academic year, our students are able to truly concentrate on the topics before them.
Blyth-Templeton Academy seeks a diverse population of students who bring energy and commitment to the learning process offered by our program. We are currently accepting applications for grades 9 through 12 for the 2018-2019 school year and for Terms 3 or 4 for 2017-2018 school year.
Blyth-Templeton Academy can currently accept the children of Permanent Residents ("green card" holders), Asylees, Refugees, Diplomats (A visa holders), Employees of International Organizations (G visa holders), and the children of individuals who hold long-term lawful nonimmigrant status allowing them to work and/or study in the United States (E, F, H, I, L, O, P, TN visas) for enrollment.
