Dr. Yaneav Cohen is an accredited pediatric dentist. This means that he is a dental specialist who has completed an advanced post-doctoral course, accredited by the American Dental Association, of at least two academic years in the specialty of pediatric dentistry. Dr. Cohen is dedicated to creating outstanding smiles for his patients, using the latest technology available.
That's why the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children see a pediatric dentist when their first tooth erupts or by their first birthday. When decay begins in baby teeth it spreads differently than in adult teeth, so it's important to perform an age appropriate risk assessment to catch decay early.
Dr. Blair Feldman, an orthodontic specialist who has joined our team to enable us to provide for your child's oral health needs which previously would have had to be referred out. That's right! My daughter had to wait 55 minutes to be seen. They brought her back to a chair, and I for once, stayed in the lobby, since she is 15. It was only when I went back to check on everything, thinking the appt seemed awfully long,, that I realized she hadn't even been seen yet. And, it was
only then, that Dr. Cohen went over to examine her. Next time I will go with her, as this may have been part of the issue, no one to ask about the delay. I realize out appt was 2 days before Thanksgiving and the office was quite busy, but at least communicate with the pt and/or parent as to what's going on. I worked

Best pediatric dentist by far!!!!! I can not say enough about this dentist and the care and knowledge he possesses. He is a rare find in the world today. Still loves what he does. All three of my children were patients. My last one is 15 and I will be so upset when we have to move to an adult dentist. Love love love the whole crew. I would give them 100 stars if I could.

I have had such a great experience with Dr. Cohen. I rarely leave reviews, but I feel like my kids are in such great hands with Dr. Cohen. He is so patient and caring and always takes the time to address any concerns. I like that he has a preventative approach and how he makes sure to give clear instructions to parents and children. Once, when my young son fell, cut his lip and badly damaged his gum tissue, Dr. Cohen was available during off-hours to take my call and to follow up later to see how he was doing. He's an excellent pediatric dentist!

The orthodontist department never orders the correct Invisalign trays. I have never left an appointment with the trays I should have, which has unnecessarily prolonged the experience and weakened the effectiveness of the Invisalign. Don't go to the orthodontist here unless you want to waste your time and money due to a lack of organization.

My children have been going here since they were born and we absolutely love this group! They are the most welcoming and calm people on the planet! He takes the time to calm the kids down and explains what he will be doing each step of the way. I highly recommend his practice for anyone that wants a longterm dentist for your children!

Happy to not to do this dentist any longer. First they suggested putting my three year old under for a procedure and now we got this letter from them because we are busy and haven't had time to go back. Be advised they have never personally called us and I only recall like one thing in the mail about a reminder for appointment.

It's not often that you get to roll out a wonderful review for a doctor's office especially a dentist, but Dr. Cohen's office is wonderful from the doctor to the receptionists.
We had great luck up in Flagstaff with a pediatric dentist and are thrilled to have had it here in Scottsdale/Phoenix.
We found Dr. Cohen off Yelp, and feel really lucky to have found him for our son.

First I want to start off this review by I am extremely selective of the doctors treating my son. He was born at 3 pounds and spent over 70 days in the hospital and had two major surgeries on the second and third day of his life and another one when he was 5 months and almost died. We see the best Pediatric Surgeon in Arizona along with the best GI, Urologist and Developmental Pediatrician.
My son has an extensive medical history and has suffered from extreme reflux just to name a few of his issues. Dr. Cohen spent a lot of his time just reviewing his medical history and coming up with a treatment

My daughter has seen Dr. Cohen for about three years. She has been in for several routine visits as well as a dental emergency where she needed her front teeth basically rebuilt. Dr. Cohen has been amazingly patient and kind on every visit, and he is really good with my daughter (and with me as the VERY concerned mother). I appreciate that he always gives treatment options - from the least to most aggressive - and then gives his opinion on how he would proceed. On every occasion, he has always suggested the least aggressive (and least expensive!) treatment option and provided a follow up plan

My son has been seeing Dr. Cohen since we moved to the area, approx 3 years ago and I wanted to let my experiences be known due to one of the parent's previous concerns. Yes it is true that the office is beautiful, the staff is friendly and work well with kids, the enviroment has a lot of kid supportive interaction and is set up to make the experience positive for kids, but the most important part of the practice (I agree) starts and ends with the doctor. With 4 children I have been to all different kinds of dentists over the years. This is the first time we have seen a pediatric dentist. I have been taking my children to Dr. Cohen for about 2 years now. What a difference a children's dentist makes! Dr. Cohen is awesome when it comes to taking care of what needs to be done. He is always on the conservative side & I never feel pressured to have procedures done that are overpriced & unnecessary.

My kids have been seeing Dr. Cohen for almost a year now. They are both less than 6 years old. They've had routine cleanings as well as fillings done by Dr. Cohen. His office staff are all great, the office is efficiently run and cleanly maintained. The thing that I like the most about Dr. Cohen is that he is very conservative with the use of sedative medications for kids. He uses only nitrous oxide (laughing gas) plus local anesthetics (shots) in the office; anything else requiring heavier sedation he takes to Phoenix Children's Hospital.
