We have purchased four motorized chairs from Alva. We even have three different models and four total chairs. We selected a variety of models based on the variety of procedures and ways that we wanted the chairs to work for us. Alva went through each model with us and what procedures we wanted to do in each of these rooms to help us pick the most appropriate models for us.
Each chair as unique features to make sure you are able to easily perform your procedures while keeping the patient and provider's ergonomics in consideration. Alva's customer service has been great from the beginning process of picking our beds, installing the beds and answering any follow up questions.

Outstanding customer service!!! Great chairs and more, but what you want is a company that stands behind their product. We have a number of their chairs and stools and they are fantastic. We had a few issues with two recently purchased exam chairs, and I can tell you that the owner reached out, worked with us, and went above and beyond to make everything right. Dan was sincere, honest and completely committed to making us happy. You can have trust in them and be sure that they will do the right thing, and not rest until your problem is solved. I purchased two items from Alva, and I am completely happy and satisfied with both.
I bought a steamer, and the arm of the steamer is long and easy to adjust over the center of the client, unlike smaller arms that just steam one side of the face. It is light weight and easy to move.
I also bought a small trolley. It was easy to put together, has three shelves, and rolls easily. It is a little heavy, which is helpful because I am not afraid I will tip it over; it feels stable.
The staff was very helpful, and I will look to Alva Beauty first when I need a new item

Excellent costumer service from Alva beauty in purchasing and setting up my gorgeous new aesthetic chair. Jacob went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I was so pleased with the chair and the service that I have just ordered my second chair. It is the most beautiful part of my new treatment rooms.
These chairs came highly recommended to me by other medical providers such as Haley Wood and others.

I have 2 shampoo bowls purchased from Alva. Last year when the tilting mechanism broke on one of my bowls they were able to find and send a replacement within a week. When the same part broke this year, I contacted them so I could purchase another replacement. I was informed by Jacob in "customer service" that they are under new management and they do things differently. They do not sell the part, they are not willing to order the part, and my only option is to purchase a entirely new unit. Rather than contacting the manufacturer to see if they could help, they thought a better option was to accuse

Alva Beauty was great when Alex owned it. Now it is basically a warehouse for sales and you will not get help with any problems. I wasted $2400 on a Steamer that I hate and never use. It never came with directions and when I asked questions they told me I should known because I am an Aesthetician. Sorry, I have never had microdermabrasion on a steamer!!! And Oh! There is no tubing! Gee whiz! Directions were sent via email. Half of it was spelled incorrectly and did not belong to that machine. Seriously???? My friend bought a $2400 bed that was received damaged and they did not want to

We were looking for some unique backwash units for our new beauty salon and Alva Beauty was the only place who had different and unique units, I asked for a different color and they got it right away. Delivered within 5 days, everything in great condition. Now everyone asking where we got our units from. I aint telling them lol.

This company is a fraud. Do NOT buy from them. I recently bought a styling chair from them thinking that I would get what I saw advertised on their website. But the chair came with a total different base stand than the picture online. When I brought it to their attention, they told me that they 'recently changed' the style of the chair and that's the base stand that comes with it. Then I tried to return it because clearly it's not what I have ordered, they told me that I can ship back the wrong base stand, then pay again for the shipment of the new base stand, and pay a deposit

I have never written a review on a business but after my experience with Alva beauty I have to say...I wouldn't recommend ordering from them. I was initially very happy with Alex's knowledge. Unfortunately, the good customer service ended there. I called to ask for help to install the armrests because they weren't going in and I got a very condescending and defensive email. The tone was very unprofessional. The email was not from Alex but his staff.

Terrible! Bought the one piece shampoo unit they feature. Used it twice and it cracked. The materials are cheap and will not last under ordinary use. Alva Beauty hides under the "fine print" on their website, so be sure to read EVERYTHING before purchasing. I was met with insults and childish e-mails when trying to remedy the situation. The unit had to be removed because it was unsafe for use. The unit, the shipping, the plumbing cost over a thousand dollars. If you can afford to lose money ...shop with Alva Beauty.

I don't like posting negative reviews unless the customer service was particularly awful. I came across this company on ebay, purchased a pretty expensive item which they had listed and Alex immediately called to inform us they do not have the item pictured. He tried to offer replacement items which were not what we wanted so we instead canceled the sale.
This happened again a week later when we bid on the same item without realizing he RE-LISTED it! Then after arguing irrationally with us he decided it would be fair to refund my money MINUS 10%!!

5/2012-Spa Mgr replaced 4 hot towel cabinets (1 per spa room)and purchased 1 oversized hot towel cabinet (spa hallway). She worked w/ Alex and communicated our requirement that the 4 cabinets must have a drop-down door (web showed swing doors)-Alex said he could source & sell us drop-down units.
6/15-Rec’d 5 units. Began use on 6/30 (due to arrival of spa carts from another company).
8/25-Lynne learned that unit 4 would turn itself off & the oversized unit would not stay on.
9/5-Called Alva, and received approval to have our maintenance man, Paul to look at the unit w/out voiding any warranties

Visited Alva Beauty not too long ago and dealt with Alex who is the owner himself. I was helped in a timely manner, was given a tour of the showroom, and definitely left happy.
I will be going back to do business again with Alex as I've seen pretty bad customer service when it comes to the beauty and spa business.
I would recommend Alva beauty to anyone... and I'm kind of surprised about the other bad reviews. My experience was top notch! Thanks Alex!

I just purchased five pieces of equipment from Alex and I found him, and others I spoke to during my process, to be knowledgable, helpful and courteous. My products arrived within a few days and everything was in great shape. The magnifying light that I upgraded on Alex's recommendation is a nice change from the old mag lamps that don't stay put and squeeze and pinch your fingers whenever you try to adjust it. Alex even helped me find someone to repair a piece of equipment so that I could use it again...a piece I did not buy from Alva!
