Dr. Connie Chang is a board-certified dermatologist caring for patients in Arcadia, Pasadena, and the surrounding communities for the past 6 years. Dr. Chang specializes in Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology. Dr. Chang grew up in Texas, in the town of Arlington, where she graduated as valedictorian of Sam Bowie High School.
Dr. Michael Novak has been practicing Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery in Glendale for over 35 years. Dr. Novak specializes in skin cancer detection and screening. He came here directly from USC where he was awarded a Fellowship from the National Institute of Mental Health after finishing his Dermatologic residency at the UCLA-VA Wadsworth Hospital.
Dr. Jane Wada has been practicing Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery in the Montrose, La Crescenta, La Canada area for over 30 years. Dr. Wada is on active staff at the Glendale Adventist Medical Center and USC-Verdugo Hills Hospital. This review goes to the very uneducated and unprofessional treatment which my mother received twice from them. She was treated for a wart removal and returned back home suffering from a major burn. Please if you have a a condition and are not looking for cosmetic treatment, choose a better dermatalogy center. These guys are only looking to milk your insurance and either over treating or don't know who to treat. My mom is suffering from malpractice and that is not acceptable.

I usually go to Dr Chang for my normal skin issues such as acne or mole removals. She's truly kind and gentle. They introduced me to a new treatment called dermalinfusion. It's amazing!! Taryne who did the treatment is such a sweetheart. She completely makes you feel relaxed and you feel like you are at spa. She's very professional. I will definitely be doing this every month!

Let me preface this by saying it pains me to write negative reviews, but given my experience at this place, I can't stay quiet. The 2 times I've been, they tried to force invasive treatments on me without explaining what it was for, recovery time, and risks of treatment. By law, all doctors need to provide informed consent. The 1st time, I didn't know what was going on and suffered the consequences. The 2nd time they tried for a different problem, I told them I didn't want to do that and the female doctor was super defensive and tried to bully me into the treatment. When I told

Verdugo Dermatology has the friendliest and most approachable medical staff I've ever come across. Maria at the front desk is always so kind and helpful with making my appointments and doing her best to accommodate me. Taren is one of the nurses I've met with most and she is very informative and sweet. Everyone you meet here is eager to help. I've had acne for over 10 years and I'm finally healing and feeling comfortable in my skin.

I never really suffered with acne until last year. Nothing was helping and I felt truly hopeless. My stubborn breakouts were mostly around my chin and jawline and very painful. N this world there is DOCTORISM AND BUSINESS. This doctor THOMAS T. SU is doing BUSINESS. He is not educated in his degree. He never treats a problem the only thing he does is GIVE MEDICATION FOR TEMPORARY RELIEF AND TELLS THE PATIENT "come back" . He never know whats medication to give to help and heal the problem . The medication he gives is the ones that the office could make money so the insurance covers it. YOU NEED TO DOCTORISM AND HELP PEOPLE HEAL THERE PROBLEM . I am in love with Verdugo Dermatology, but more specifically Dr. Chang. I came in with concerns about sudden acne on my chin and cheeks that seemed to be only getting worse. Dr. Chang was so attentive, patient, and didn't try and belittle any of my concerns (which is something I find a lot of doctors do). Saw Dr. Su last year for the removal of 2 Basal Cell Carcinomas on my forehead. From the size of the hole needed to get all the bad stuff out, I was sure I’d end up with huge scars. That was not the case. You can barely see a scar. Dr. Su has an amazing touch! The office is beautiful, clean, they don’t make you wait, and everyone working in there is a pleasure to deal with! I had an unsightly skin growth that needed removing. After cross referencing Yelp and my insurance website I chose Dr. Chang, and I'm glad I did.
The parking was easy and free, the office staff professional, and Dr. Chang was efficient and knowledgeable.

Doctor Thomas Su and the entire staff at Verdugo Dermatology are simply awesome. My wife and I feel like they are all family, so very professional and friendly. Dr. Su is simply the best of the best. Great bedside manor. I experienced my first skin cancer surgery 36 years ago as a young man, and have struggled ever since with endless skin pre-cancer and cancer treatments and surgeries. Dr. Su has been treating me for about 12 years now, after the unexpected death of my original dermatologist. I am so pleased and blessed to now have Dr. Su. with his vast knowledge and exceptional surgical skills

I've been seeing Dr. Su for a few years now. He is very knowledgable and by far the best dermatologist that I have seen. His new office is fantastic and his staff is the best.
I had some issues with my local pharmacy and his staff took the time to work everything out with the pharmacy and my insurance. They probably saved me days on the phone with the insurance company and the pharmacy staff.
I've always been seen promptly and have never had difficulty getting an appointment. I've moved to Orange County and I still make the over hour drive just to see Dr. Su. Yes he is that good!
