With more than 50 years of experience in the field, our doctors do not simply provide the highest level of vision correction. Drs. Helen, Neil, Margaret, Nelly, Amy, and Nimi have all worked hand in hand with some of the most respected eye surgeons in Chicago and the Midwest. Each doctor is trained and licensed to manage difficult medical issues that may be affecting the eyes.
If you are experiencing dry eyes, then it means that you either have an inadequate amount of tears or the eyes are producing poor quality tears. Each time you blink, tears are spread across the surface of the eye to keep it clear and smooth. When excess tears are present, then they flow into the drainage ducts located in the corners of the eyelids near your nose.
TearCare is the blink-assisted device that applies heat to the eyelids in applications such as Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), Dry Eye, or Blepharitis where the current medical community would recommend the application of a warm compress. TearCare is a new and cutting edge treatment for Meibomian Gland Dysfunction and Blepharitis.

I just moved to Chicago and was trying to find an optician and optometrist that would provide honest services and a good selection of glasses (it's sometime hard to find both!).
I was able to find an evening appointment with Malgorzata and had a very professional and enjoyable experience. I then decided to look at glasses. Armand was great (and patient) while I was trying different pairs. Finally found one.

Everyone here is so genuinely friendly! I've had multiple positive experiences over the years, so this review is overdue.
Doctors? Warm and professional. Staff? Friendly and helpful. Office? Comfortable and super cute. Billing? I've never had an issue, and the one time I called for a copy of a receipt for my FSA was totally painless. Appointments? It's easy to reach someone and they're very flexible.
Bonus: The staff proactively offered to help submit my contact lens rebate application, and they made it quick and painless.
I wish every specialist's office was this

I had a wonderful experience at Vision Boutique with Lynette. She was extremely attentive in helping me pick my frame, being very patient as I went back and forth between which frame I wanted and offering her very useful opinions on how each one suited me. I felt very welcome, everyone was incredibly nice, and I walked away feeling great and confident about my new prescription and my new glasses.

Just switched to this shop from My Eye Dr and I'm so happy I did! Vision Boutique has a great selection and, more importantly, the folks there were really helpful as I picked out a new pair of glasses. I love my Lindberg glasses but they're super expensive and I was hoping to find a lightweight second pair that weren't a million dollars.
Whitney and Yaxeni were so lovely. I told them I was looking for a backup pair of glasses with more of an "I'm wearing glasses" feel and they totally understood me. They gave me honest (yet kind and gentle) feedback like "

Gave them a try because they carry a frame brand I like, but keep going back because Dr. Boldus and staff are exceptional! Jason helped me transition to a completely new frame style, and, two years later, I still love my frames.

I have been going to Vision Boutique for years now. Dr. Neil Boldus is the best! He always gets my prescription right. They also have fun and fashionable styles of glasses! Staff are always warm and welcoming. The office was extremely clean and safe when I went for my annual appointment recently. Highly recommend!

I was in the search for a new eye doctor and saw so many great reviews about vision boutique that I had to check them out. Dr Helen was so kind, courteous, and patient during the entire appointment. I lady at checkout (I think her name was Katherine) was so helpful and took the time to go through and break down the numbers. I greatly enjoy my experience and would recommend it to everyone!

I can't begin to say how wonderful the Vision Boutique was. The ease of scheduling online to checking in was great. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Boldus is wonderful. I have been having an issue with my contacts and used to go to places like America's Best or VisionWorks, but NEVER again. The Dr here helped finally diagnose my problem and get me into an amazing pair of contacts. I would 100% recommend this place for your eye care needs!

I went in to Vision Boutique Lakeview for an eyeglass vision renewal after my eyeglass prescription expired a year ago. Dr. Helen's eye exam was very through and she really did a great job explaining my eye glass prescription change, and how I can keep my eyes healthy. Went in for a contact lens fitting, ended up spending 2 hours buying and being fitted for an extra pair of glasses. Very hard sales tactics, but I did make the choice to buy the glasses, so I claim responsibility for that. However, the trouble came when my glasses were made within 20 minutes of my ordering them -- I was not told the lenses were made in-house before I made the purchase, and boy do I wish I had been. When I put the new glasses on, I couldn't see clearly out of them. I was told very forcibly by the assistant manager that "this was normal" and I would need to wear them

This place is awesome!!! Dr. Hong & staff are extremely helpful & patient. I had lasik surgery a little over 18 yrs ago and had not had an eye exam since. Dr. Hong was great, I didnt feel rushed at all. He explained everything to me and made sure I understood. Needless to say I did need corrective lenses. Dr. Hong & Silis were helpful, patient & honest when it came to picking out frames. I actually don't mind wearing my glasses now!!! Thanks guys

I had a wonderful experience here. Best of all, they have a glaucoma test without the torturous puff of air in your eye!
Dr. Wooldridge was friendly, kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. I learned so much about the function and health of my eye. This visit was by far the most informative and pleasant trip to the eye doctor I've ever had. For that matter, any trip to the doctor.

Artisan Eyecare is the best experience I've ever had at an optometrist. Their location is very convenient for me and I had no problem setting up my appointment through their website.
Dr. Hong is very thorough and professional and did an excellent job of explaining what he was doing (and why) during the course of the exam. He even sent me a handwritten thank you note afterwards. Classy touch!
The staff, Eric and Madeline, also do a great job of greeting you and helping you pick out frames from the many they have on display. I wanted to keep the current frames for my prescription sunglasses

Dr. Faye has saved me from freaking out about my various eye issues so many times! I stumbled across Vision Boutique randomly through a Yelp search and I happened to visit on the only day of the week that Dr. Faye works. I'm so happy that I chose that Thursday because she rocks!
As someone that hasn't visited an optometrist since I was probably in high school, she made me feel so comfortable. I was able to get more information on what was causing my particular eye issue as well as some more knowledge about my eye health. I decided to let Dr. Faye do my annual eye exam a month later
