MJ's Downtown Cafe & Bakery

We went there for the first-time last week. Had a co-worker recommend this place just before the pandemic. He brought his family out from the city to pick cherries and they loved both the cherry picking and MJ's for lunch. Don't know why it's taken us so long to try MJ's but we finally did and I see we've been missing out all these years. Great tasty breakfast and we took a Salted Caramel Banana Cake home for dessert the next night. All I can say is WOW!

Went with the family of 6. Great portion size, Hash browns were not cooked all the way, stringy and frozen parts. Had to ask to refill water and coffee. Kids breakfast plate had a one bite of eggs, we had to order more eggs. Willing to try it again but no rush to go back.

This place never disappoints The food is well proportioned and very good quality..... My one complaint is the lighting kinda has a wearhouse look.. it tends to wash out the natural colors....

Have been here a couple of times & have both been great experiences. The restaurant is popular, so anticipate waiting. Once you are seated the service is very accommodating. The servers are always available to help and the meal is served quickly. The food is good and portions are filling. I see why the restaurant is so popular. I'll be back again.

Very delicious breakfast. They know how to do the omllette well. I got richie richie. The french toast on the side was great. The service was nice despite being busy.
I consider it a fancy breakfast, little bit expensive.

I have tried to like it, been there 3 or 4 rimes but its the same thing each time, customer service is awful!
Good luck getting waited on, getting anything you may need, getting anyone who works there to even look in your general direction.
Food is maybe a 4 on a 10 scale but there lack of customer service keeps us from ever going back again.
***Updating 4/13/19. They set up a booth out front during the farmers market with all kinds of yummy looking deserts. We decided today to try 2 things because they looked good and we never tried them before. Hubby got a chocolate caramel turtle roll thing

The food is pretty good every time, not amazing but never bad. This visit, the service was sub-par and there were flies bothering us during the entire meal (indoors) which was extremely unpleasant. There were only artificial sweeteners available for the coffee instead of sugar or an alternative natural sweetener which was additionally disappointing. My 4 stars are generous and only because the food has never been bad and their selection of baked goods is great.

It's a cute little downtown Cafe. They have good service, food, and baked goods. Reasonable prices.

I had the ‘Grill Polenta & Eggs 🥚.
Every bite was extraordinary delicious 😋. By the time I realized that I wanted to take a photo, my plate was almost cleaned. Egg over medium was yummy, but when I got to the picked red bell pepper I couldn’t out my fork 🍴 down. Every bite was an explosion 💥 of flavor.
Yes I did say… EVERY BITE EXPLODED IN MY MOUTH LIKE IT WAS A PARTY 🎊 FROM 1999!!!
