Our friends love this place, so take my review with a grain of salt--maybe I just ordered all the wrong stuff... but I was very unimpressed.

1. Latte, Small $4: There wasn't much coffee flavor as it was thinned out by too much milk with too weak espresso. 3/10

2. Triple Chocolate Cake $5.99: I dunno... it's WEIRD. Though it clearly was cake, and I can see the cake layers, it tasted more like weak pudding than cake. Maybe more flavor-wise than texture, but I can objectively say the cake was NOT moist or fluffy. The chocolate flavor also tasted artificial, though it probably

I went here really craving that french cafe feel. Super disappointed. Firstly, it was cold!!! I asked if it was possible to close the door just for a bit so it could warm up. They could not because it would lock and customers can't walk in? The result is the food gets cold, I was shaking and the coffee was not hot enough to keep me warm.

This place is definitely worth coming back to! Their pastries are freshly made and are just plain delicious! I tried the almond croissant and the kouign amann. Highly recommend to ask for the pastries to be warmed up!

The almond croissant has a generous amount of almonds and filling. It's crispy and nutty. It's not too dry and has the perfect amount of sweetness. I love the almond filling; it's filled with almond flavor and soften up the croissant just a little bit without making it soggy.

The kouign amann is just as delicious. It is covered with sugar and has a crispy caramelized

I usually drive to La Farine for my Baguettes and Croissants but today I made the mistake of trying to fix something that wasn't broken. I gave this place a try.

The Bread was horrible. Not light at all, very heavy, and it was sourdough. $3.95 for something you could've got 2 of at Costco with the same taste of not better.

The Croissant was more of a sweet pastry, not what I was looking for. Wasn't bad but wasn't good either, for another $1 I could've bought a dozen, again at, Costco!

One other thing I disliked was that they don't give you your order immediately

My go to indulgent lace to treat myself with the best almond croissant, spinach feta croissant and their homemade chai latte!
Only thing would make this perfect is to be in Paris sitting out at a cafe eating these delicious croissants!

The staff have a terrible attitude and service is not worth the trip for Over priced croissants. The cortado coffee is not authentic, it tasted like watered down espresso. Disappointing.

Update 12/28/21:
Let's be clear, the food is always 4 to 5 stars.

I am updating my review of their beverages solely in the basis that they changed their oat milk and no coffee or matcha is going to be good with the new oat milk. They used to use Califia Barista Blend and this is not what I got. I loved their matcha lattes but it just tastes watery and disgusting now. I even had a friend taste it and she agreed it was watery and there was no creaminess. I hope they switch back.

This is a nice setting for a very casual breakfast. Enjoyed our time there and the friendly service. It’s not a full menu, but you do have options like crepes and waffles. Would come back!

Habitually poor customer service. They have a track record of forgetting orders. Happened to me on a prior visit and once again today. And looks like others below have had similar issues with this. No apologies from staff after I pointed out that they messed up. Definitely won't be going back here....that's the best thing about the downtown Walnut Creek area, so you have so many other high-quality options to dine at.

Such a cute cafe! Excellent selection of pastries and drinks and I love how personable the ppl that work here are.
I've come in a couple times. Once while waiting around for a place to opened I walked from SEV to a cute little thrift store then on to brioche and when asked I was recommended the seasonal koug aman. It was fabulous! Blueberries and custard. And don't like custard normally at least not American style custard but this was different, thicker, french . More like a cream cheese texture. They offered to warm it up and it was perfect.
I also ordered a matcha latte and im a little

I was looking for a French Bakery near home. I tried this location FIRST item I ordered was a Salmon Quiche along with drinks and pastries. My Salmon quiche never came. After waiting for 20 minutes, I Asked the servers & cashier for my meal. Their response "we never charged you for it" .... What kind of service is this? When you deliver all plates and notice someone is missing food maybe ask or take proper orders. Not coming back. Panera vibes with poor customer service. Save your time & money. Try elsewhere.

This is a nice cafe for coffee and pastries. It’s a good place to hang out. They had this thick foamy coffee which is really tasty. The lady there recommend me to get the chicken avocado crepe with caramelized onions which is super delicious 😋

This past week a group of acquaintances decided to try the appealing Brioche de Paris Cafe for lunch. In a group of six some were happy w their choice , but unfortunately I was not one lucky client. I felt my feta cheese crepe was disappointing: the crepe itself was too thick and taste more like a pancake than a light crepe I had tried in France, the feta cheese was not the best in quality and on top it was a cold filling. Besides I had the impression of a lack of organization in the establishment based in several mistakes made by the person taking the orders as well as the fact that when it came

This is THE best place for pastries. Get them warmed up, and MMMM. During the week, this place is SO great for grabbing a cup of coffee, specialty drink, or hot chocolate, settling in with a good book, and having a pastry. And on the weekend, they're incredibly busy in the mornings! So make sure you get here bright and early as their BEST pastries tend to sell out (specifically, the CHEESE DANISH. SERIOUSLY. IT IS SO GOOD!)!

I came here with my husband on a Sunday, excited to show him this spot I'd discovered, and was so sad to see their cheese danishes were all sold out! Thankfully

This cute little café near the corner of Bonanza Street and Locust right in the heart of downtown Walnut Creek. This place does indeed have a very Parisian feel. Crapes made to order, a great pastry case full of baguette sandwiches and a nice menu to quench the afternoon to heat or cold. Excellent little café, and taking Covid protocols respectfully seriously.

This place is amazing! We are learning where to find coffee and pastries in our new hometown. I am so glad we found Brioche de Paris. The outdoor eating area was so pretty with fresh gorgeous flowers at each table! Not ugly cheap carnations. Pretty flowers.I had a scratch caramel latte and I have no idea what that means except it must mean the most delicious coffee in the world! It tasted so good. We also got a chocolate chip cookie which was typical good. The pastry was amazing. The crust was delicate and buttery. Hubs got the tuna sandwich which was so yummy. We sat outside with our dog and

The reviews I dread the most is when the food is good but the service wasn't. This could have easily been a 5 star review.

We got our drinks first. The matcha tasted just like milk and had no matcha flavor (so don't get the matcha!!), and we were still missing our food. We tossed both our drinks after our sip because we really couldn't continue to drink it.

We waited for a total of 15 minutes probably before we asked about our pastries and they had totally forgotten about them. Already a little bit frustrated/annoyed, they pack everything to go when I had actually asked for it

Updated Review February 2020: I really used to love Brioche de Paris, but this last order was disappointing. My husband ordered a chocolate croissant (like he usually gets and they previously did well as you can see on their site what they used to look like ), and what he got was not a croissant. It was a long pastry with chocolate, not round and fluffy with the crisp outside like a croissant should be and tasted excessively sweet. It almost seemed like their baker was out and they used something store bought as a replacement. It was that bad that my husband didn't eat it...for $10 for 2 croissants

Review is for dessert delivery by Doordash:

I was researching some options for dessert to celebrate the wife's birthday. She's not a huge dessert person, so it would be nice to have small samples to try from. Brioche de Paris in Walnut Creek offers traditional French breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and cake. Both Paris Baguette and Tous Les Jours sound French, but they're both from Korea! I have not yet been to Paris but my wife has, so I figured maybe an authentic French pastry would take her back.

Doordash delivery is free if you order over $12 with a Dashpass. No problem

Very good, close to authentic French place we needed in downtown Walnut Creek. Unlike authentic Parisian, the place is clean, new, and has lots of space. Great service! Awesome patties and crepes. Beautiful French music.
Glad you opened, guys!
Feb 2020 update. Still an awesome place. Still an amazing service. We’ve been back a few times and liked it every time.
I recommend trying the Shakerato, today was the first time for me! Nice take on iced coffee. Also try the Kiwi and Pineapple fresh juice. We highly recommend. And chicken and arugula sandwich was exceptional.
Keep it up, guys!
