You're a mom who's exhausted from imperfectly doing it all. You're in a relationship you're not sure is working or you've been seeking love for a long time without finding it. You're going through a divorce and it's ripping apart your family's soul. Or you're trying to move on from trauma but you're still having nightmares.
It's an incredibly stressful world out there, and it can be really hard to cope. We'd like to believe we can figure it all out on our own, but much like bees, humans just aren't built that way. We're meant to work together, to problem-solve together, and to care for each other. Even in, or maybe especially in, times like these.

You're overworked, overwhelmed, and stressed out, and you do everything for everyone but can't find the time or motivation to take care of yourself. You struggle with anxiety and stress during the day, and at night you find yourself counting the hours until the house is quiet and you can have a glass of wine or three, or finish the leftover cake - all the while hating yourself for your lack of discipline.
Maybe it's been coming for a long time, or maybe you're shocked to find yourself in this position, but you know one thing: You never wanted this. The person you loved with your whole heart at one point in your life now feels like a stranger, or even worse, the enemy. You don't have a roadmap and you couldn't have imagined it would be this painful.
You try to fall asleep at night but your mind keeps wandering, worrying about your kids: Who are they hanging out with? Why are their grades slipping? They're not talking to you; they're not sharing a thing that's happening in their lives. Are they doing drugs? Having sex? When did you as a parent go from being your teens' best friend to them treating you worse than a stranger?
Most people understand that things like war, natural disasters and severe childhood abuse are traumatic. If you have experienced any of those things, it is highly likely that you have also felt symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Those types of traumas are what we refer to as "Big T's".
You've been struggling for so long with your internal knowledge of who you are versus how the world defines you. It feels like a constant battle to navigate the simplest situations - to feel so disconnected from or distressed by your body while pretending like everything is fine. You can be so anxious in social situations and depressed and exhausted when you're alone.

I have been seeing a therapist here for a few months. I feel like this is what therapy should be in 2021. Very open minded people, super easy to schedule and I feel very cared for. Very professional and comfortable. I love that I can see my therapist remotely as well. All in all, 5 stars is well deserved.

9 months with this practice and on a Friday evening received a call saying today was your therapists last day. No transition to another therapist in practice, no exiting session on how to handle this, no closure with therapist. Just, here’s a list of referrals, we have no one available for you. Referral list didn’t even match specialties with diagnosis and/or don’t accept our insurance). Complete failure leaving us hung out to dry to scramble finding a new therapist and start from scratch creating a new relationship. Do not even consider this practice! In my opinion, it takes a serious lack

I have heard wonderful things from clients who have worked with Rebecca. They find her personable, connected, and dedicated to helping. As a colleague, I enjoy working and being with Rebecca. She is warm, and has a great sense of humor. She truly gets the systemic viewpoint that a great marriage and family therapist must have. I recommend!

As an APRN who has shared mutual clients with Rebecca, I have always heard the most wonderful words from her patients about her as their therapist. It has been clear to me that Rebecca knows her patients well, serves as their advocate and genuinely cares about their overall well-being. I know many of her patients will be very sad to lose her!
