Parking is free in a lot adjacent to the building.
The pharmacy is located at the bottom of an office building at extremely busy intersection. I needed to be patient getting in and out of the parking lot.

I spoke with several people who work here as I placed my first compounded order and had a number of questions. Every single person was knowledgeable, courteous, and went out of their way to find out the answer and offer me background information. The price was better than at other area compounding pharmacies and I had a wonderfully pleasant experience. I even got to meet Alan, the owner, who was delightful. They also have free parking. I will be shopping here in the future for my pharmacy needs.

Excellent apothecary and Jessie helps me with my ever changing supplements consistently. They also deliver for small fee. I can always count on Knowles and if they don’t have it they will find it and advise on brands. Pricing is reasonable too. Great stock. Jessie is incredibly helpful and very knowledgable and I am very grateful as I was ill when I first started buying from them. They couldn’t be more professional and helpful. I am blessed to have such a good source of supplements in my neighborhood.

Our cat needed a medicine to be compounded. Although Knowles said it takes two days I begged for it to be sooner since my cat had been suffering for at least a week before we knew what antibiotic he should have. They came through and it was ready in 1 day meaning that our cat did not have to wait the whole weekend without being treated. Thank you!

We LOVE Knowles Apothecary! For us and for our dog, who gets cuddles and treats from the pharmacy team whenever we visit. They are a fantastic team, always such a pleasure to interact with (in person and over the phone), and they feel like a family. They are professional, quick, organized, and have options for providing meds in liquid form, which is hard to find in other pharmacies. They even offer delivery, which is a lifesaver. The down side of delivery - we don't get to see the Knowles team in person! I highly recommend them without hesitation.

I have no knowledge of Knowles Apothecary other than its non-pharmacy function as a UPS Access point. I just dropped off two boxes at the behest of UPS (the boxes were mistakenly sent to my home). Each box was about 1 cubic foot and weighed 4 lbs. When I walked into the store I was greeted with a "cold" stare by a woman sitting behind a desk. I was taken aback by her glare and thinking I was in the wrong place I mouthed the letters "UPS". 1 month ago my family transferred all of our prescriptions to this pharmacy; and I began to regret it from day 1. They have so very little understanding of the core principles of customer service such as phone etiquette, up to date knowledge of inventory, proper usage of their merchandise, and most critically, federal legislation affecting pharmacy practice. I highly recommend Kensington Pharmacy, as that establishment fully grasps the sacrosanct relationship between apothecary and its clientele.

My dog was very sick and my vet wrote a script for a difficult to find medicine for him. I called all over- CVS, Walgreens, other vet clinics. One referred me to Knowles - they actually compound their own meds here! I called ahead and they said they had it and could fill the 30 days worth, no problem.
When I walked in, I fell in love instantly. The store is stocked with homeopathic remedies, crystals, aromatherapy infusers, as well as medical supplies. Everyone who worked there was SO NICE and incredibly helpful. I was in and out in under 20 minutes.

Such a difference coming here versus a chain pharmacy. They know me by name and are so nice. Sometimes when I walk in they are already getting my order ready at the register. I needed some obscure homeopathic item and they had it! I even found out they now sell soda and snacks so it's even more convenient. I won't go anywhere else.

I love this Pharmacy. Everyone is friendly with a positive attitude & always offers help. Its always a huge relief to know I can always count on Knowles having what I need + having remedies I didn't even know I needed. If they don't have what I need they get it within 24 hours vs a week @ most other Pharmacies. There's no price on peace of mind. You won't be disappointed.

The selection of items at Knowles Apothecary is fantastic. My husband and I have used them several times specifically for pet medication and they've been fantastic. The orders are ready in a timely manner, and they have a good variety of flavors to mix in with medication to make it more palatable for your pets. I will definitly return the next time I'm in need of medicine or vitamins.

I have been coming to Knowles for 5 years, filling various prescriptions for my dog and myself. Each time I visit, the staff greets me by name and knows exactly what I'm there for, whether it be for prescription drugs or their various lines of herbal remedies and natural supplements. When I need medications ordered, it is always done in a timely fashion. My veterinary practice uses Knowles Apothecary to compound medicines for my sick Tonkinese kitty, Benjamin. I am so grateful that they are there and that they are just 10 minutes away from my home by car.
Today, the young man who helped me at the register carefully explained how to administer the medication, rather than my having find out on my own how to dose Benjamin Pearl. (In the past, the techs have seemed confused about finding the prescription that you have come to pick up even after a "heads-up" from them on the phone.)

I gave up on the chain drugstore around the corner and switched to Knowles about 6 months ago, and so far it's been wonderful. The people on the phone and at the counter take initiative, use their brains, and treat me like a person (none of which I have found at chain drugstores to date, unfortunately). I haven't had to use their delivery option yet but it's a great thing to have available. Two cautiously optimistic thumbs up.

My vet failed to call in my prescription for antibiotics my sick kitten really needed asap. I found that out and got a prescription over to Knowles around 5:00pm. Ok, they say, it'll be ready tomorrow. As soon as they heard the panic in my voice the pharmacist said never mind, we can get it done tonight (even though they closed in just an hour.) And they did!
Kitten is 1000% better, and I really appreciated Knowles helping me out when I was in a full pet-parent panic. You guys rock!

I stopped in this afternoon to inquire about herbal support for my dog's diabetic issues. The poor guy has to get two injections a day from his very anxious mommy (Me).
