Services
Join the generations of happy Turtle Bay residents -who have called this historic park 'home.'. There have been travel trailers and RV parks almost since the invention of the automobile. Turtle Bay (formerly Redding Riverside Village) was built in the 1930s by the Bureau of Land Reclamation to house the workers who built the Shasta Dam.
The amount of sunshine here is a perpetual mood-booster! Explore the nearby Sacramento River Walk or set out for an adventure in beautiful Shasta County - we're near schools, grocery stores, hospitals, drug stores, gas stations, banks, post office and everything else you need. Try these attractions for fun.
We accept older RVs if they are in good shape and they have a full working bathroom. But regardless of age we will need to see pictures of all four sides, if it is a motor home it has to be able to be driven into the park. If your rig is a towed unit, you must have the ability to tow it or have the financial ability to have it towed.

Way over priced, small spaces, manger is not very friendly, requirement's unrealistic, and hard to get along with!
The only thing this place has going for it, is the location!
And even at that; the sizes of the spaces, condition of the yards, shape of the Landry room, and everything to where and which is the most inhospitable management; just isn't worth it!

Maybe not the fanciest of parks but the neighbors are cool and if you love the outdoors you cannot beat the location.
It's only a five minute vwalk to the Sundial Bridge and Turtle Bay complex and the Arboritum.
And about a 15 mile bike ride to Shasta Dam.
The bile path is paved. A great ride!
Lots to do around it and it's right across the Sacramento River from downtown Redding.
