I showed up with a Hotels.com confirmation and the owner or manager did not Honor the reservation. Showed him the number, name and all the information necessary he still denied me a room which you can only imagine the frustration of thinking you're gonna show up to a room and end up not getting anything and then having to struggle in finding a new one. I have been to the real Capri, and this motel is nothing like it.....it's better!!!
Our hotel in Capri did not have espn, which meant I could not watch the Syracuse game when they played Clemson. But our room here not only had espn but also espn2, espnews, and the Discovery channel.
Tip: if it's late and you haven't had enough to eat, pop into the Brazen Head across the street. They serve Schlitz cocktails until 2am.

You can tell the management and staff here are really good people. I did hear them on the phone with someone telling them to pay for damaged/ missing towels and we're very professional about it. They shouldn't have to pay for new materials. So FYI don't play those games here! I would stay again if I ever have the need. Thank you!

Looks rough from the outside, but the inside is all gorgeous and newly renovated. Not ADA accessible. The room numbers were written in pencil on the doors and our door didn't even have a number, but I think it's because they just got brand new doors. As someone else said, the curtains don't close. We just used a lifehack: use the clips on the pants hangers to clip the curtains shut. AC worked well, free parking was great. We did ask if there was late checkout, they said only an hour late. We would have paid to leave our car and stuff safe while we went to a museum.

Lot was pretty much empty. Place didn't appear full. Hardly saw anyone inside... But tell me why...just why... Did the clerk HAVE to put me right directly above him/ the office. The only view was a big tree 🌳 so I know that a beautiful view wasn't the reason and the drapes do not close. The expressions and the way of speaking... So annoying that people cant control their hormones.
It was a cute room though. I actually liked the restroom design. Slept good too.

Read the reviews and decided that this was an ok place to stay overnight. My son and I can back from the Giants game and all of our clothes and his pocket knife were stolen out of our room. Everything else was left untouched. It’s late, we are tired and now we have a 2.5 hr drive back home. Nick and the maintenance man are reviewing the tapes for the 4 hours we were gone. I received a refund but this is unacceptable!!!! I know the room was locked up right before we left.

The motel is delightful, our room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Nick, the manager, is kind and helpful. The location is ideal, set in the Marina District, directly across the street from an excellent restaurant. There are other great restaurants and shops within walking distance. We even stayed an extra night, we loved Motel Capri so much!

This Motel send to be similar to a halfwsy home for recovering addicts or some sort of 24hr AA meeting. Men hanging around all night in groups smoking cigarettes in the walkways. The walls are extremely thin and from 2am I could hear someone knocking on doors every 30 seconds for hours. The pros is free parking. Broken bathroom door and old cheap everything

Looks quiet in the daytime and the rooms are nice but there appears to be a small group of guys with 1 girl selling drugs from the place at night time. Theres a bunch of them coming in and out of 1 room. The front desk clerk doesnt seem to mind. If you dont mind that kind of thing though the rooms are nice and clean also..

It was very nice actually! King bed was so comfy!! Spacious room. Bathroom was clean and nice! Everything was nice! The mini fridge worked great! There was a nice little microwave as well! Not noisy at all! Great walking distance from food places!! Overall great place! I'd for sure come back again!!!

Great Motel nice area close to everything in San Francisco. The motel is kept very clean by a professional and polite staff. The motel is retro 60's and is kept very clean. Nick the manager is always close by to answer your questions and concerns. Prices are exceptional ! Thank you Nick for a pleasant stay.

We stayed for 3 nights at Motel Capri and when we came back after the 2nd day, we found out that housekeeping cleaned our room and someone went through our stuff, mixed up our belongings, tried some make up, and stole jewelry. The maid also left her shoes in our room. We tried to talk to the receptionist and the manager who both denied the theft, they didn't even apologize nor offer a solution. We had to call the police to report the theft and we hope that they will be able to give us back what was stolen. I don't recommend anyone to stay in this hotel, they have no sense of service whatsoever

Booked this hotel months ago and when I asked for an email confirmation the man on the phone said they didn't do that but he gave me a confirmation number. I had a bad feeling so I called three weeks before my stay to confirm the reservation. They conveniently couldn't find my reservation but said it was good news that they still had rooms available for $250 per night (my original price was $135 and at the time I was on the phone with him the website said $170 per night the same day he was quoting me $250). Super shady! Would not recommend booking with this unprofessional hotel. Needless

Similar to other reviewers, the customer experience starting at check in is awkward at best, bordering on completely unwelcoming.
Be aware, that they surprise you with a $5 "booking fee" on top of whatever you might have already paid to book your stay. This fee isn't mentioned anywhere until you show up and are basically forced to pay it. Very unprofessional as a business to no make his more transparent.
