Doesn't look like much on the outside but the paint is fresh. The rooms are very nice - everything you need including a very good selection of TV channels. Breakfast was a surprise - sweet rolls, individually wrapped! Wow!

Comfortable bed. Very clean rooms! Max policy enforced. The only thing was limited parking.

Much less expensive than downtown - but there's easy access to the bus since the bus stops just in front.

2020 Covid review:
Stayed for 3 nights in September. We live in the east bay so it's not a tourist stay for us.

It was convenient with restaurants, gas stations and Walgreens and 7-Eleven within walking distance.

For a family with a 3.5 yr old, it was convenient with (limited) motel parking (small spaces but we managed to fit our SUV). Also fridge and microwave made it easy to keep food and milk for our little one.

Yes, it is on Geary Street, very busy and loud. The garbage truck came at 2a and 4a on Thursday. But given the cost, the convenience of on site parking and a bus stop right outside

Second time staying here while my dad gets treatment at UCSF. Manager at front desk is always so nice! Parking is a little tight which is the norm for SF but he helped me get in and out of the parking lot. I showed up before my check in time and he was able to room me sooner than scheduled. Room is clean and I've been happy with my stay both times. Thank you manager and cleaning staff. You guys are great!

The guy in window said that passport is not identification and to check in you must have California ID . So if you're planing to stay at this place and coming from another state or county then you should go to DMV first to get local ID . New rules made by smart window-talking guy

The parking area was a nightmare to get out of. The customer service was not the friendliest. The bathroom was super small. The beds were not super comfortable either. I gave it a 3 because of the location and the price for the room considering it was last minute reservation in San Francisco.

Booked a 4 day stay here for my son who is a special needs patient. He was scheduled for an evaluation/testing near the hotel so we felt fortunate in finding a place within walking distance. Unfortunately, my son was hospitalized just before the trip so I had to cancel but informed all parties we would reschedule within a couple of weeks hopefully. The airlines and rental car agencies gave us a full refund and did so happily. The manager of THIS place, kept $120 out of a $360 payment (a third of what I paid) stating that was their policy. When I explained the unusual circumstances I

Wow! What a terrible representation of hospitality and customer service! This place is horrible! The lady at the front desk yelled at my wife. Then told us, " Thank God you are only staying one night"! The room was horrible. Room #215 is next to the street and it is so noisey. There was dust on the furniture, along the base boards, in the corners.
If, I would not have had major testing at SFVA Clinic the next day, we would have left. We paid online so $$ was non-refundable. I checked reviews online and thru Trip Advisor. Oh, my gosh! Read the ones about scamming someone's credit

Exactly what I was looking for! Located in the heart of Inner Richmond. Easy walking to shops, restaurants. Not far to the beach, The Presidio, and Golden Gate Park.

The owners were very nice and helpful. The room was clean. I called the night before and they said I didn't have to wait till 3pm to check in. They let us check in and park at 10am! I like that they charge at check-in so no extra charges.

Thank you for a lovly night!

Not the "nicest" place to stay in, but if you're only staying here for a few days like my family and I did, then it's pretty good. I shared a room with two double beds and one bathroom with my sisters. We had a tv, closet, microwave, coffee/tea maker, and a mini fridge. The beds were pretty comfortable to sleep in, and the TV has a lot of channels so you will find something you like to watch!

The maids are very nice and do their jobs very well. If you want your room to be clean by the time you come back from your day, you should be out of the room early in the morning. Unfortunately

Room is very clean, front desk folks are very helpful, and friendly. Bed is the most comfortable one I've encountered, barring my own! Street noise near the front, but it's expected; you're in SF, in a busy area. The fan setting on the AC masks most of the noise.

Check in staff (lady) was good... not friendly, but very business like. The 10 car parking lot is very small, tight, and only one way in with zero turn around options. You have to back onto Geary in order to get out. Room was small, but clean. Check out staff (man) was very unfriendly, borderline rude. He also refused to give the 10% AAA discount saying that our reservation was made from the website instead of calling them directly, therefore he could not offer any discount. The check in clearly said she'd give us the discount. The website clearly states a AAA discount for members.

*Update*
I contacted the Better Business Bureau and had a decent conversation with Henry. He refunded the second night.

The Geary Parkway Motel seems to have the No Vacancy sign up more times than not, so I recommended the Motel to a friend as a last minute stay. Fortunately, one perfect room was available the Monday after the Outside Lands Music festival was over. Clean room, bathroom, a great bed, and tv, close to everything, economical price - I was impressed. I can definitely recommend Geary Parkway Motel. My only constructive feedback is if you can RSVP ahead do. Avoid room 201 as windows face Geary blvd. If you wish to have open windows during the time you sleep, I warn you now of normal street noise. If you

My boyfriend and I made a quick trip to SF and stayed here for two nights. This place isn't some fancy place with a nice breakfast. If you're looking for a spot to crash the night on a budget, then this may be for you. Also, if you're a heavy sleeper then that, too.

The guy who checked us in was very friendly. We're from SD and he was kind enough to give us on some bus route trips depending where we wanna go. Geary Blvd is a longgg road so there's many stops and a bus comes every 15-20min. That sounded great at the time but once it was night time.. that's horrible

Could be better, but also could be worse. There's free parking, but very limited spaces. First come first serve. Location of this motel was also okay. You could get around if you're patient enough.

The room itself was very dirty. I actually ended up with 4 bed bug bites by the time I checked out so...enter with caution. Service was also sad. We couldn't find the remote for our TV in our room, and when we went down to ask the front desk, he just shrugged and said "It's in there. Just look for it." Rude. We eventually had the cleaning lady help us, and SHE was super

If there was a possible way to give zero stars I would.
Me and my boyfriend just stayed there recently and Please do not ever pick this motel especially in room 201. Most part it was decent however in room 201 you could tell they did a bad job with reconstructing it because once you step out of the bathroom you can feel a pretty sizable dent in the floor that if you were to put something heavy on it it could cave in.
One top of that we check the pillow sheet and bed like we always do and found stains on the pillow sheets that look like old blood, Whatever the stain was it was reddish brown. We

Interesting motel, cheap by San Francisco standards interior courtyard parking covered lot, very small and first come first serve and had no issues using it. No smoking property. Not the most friendly front desk, felt like it was an inconvenience to check in at 5:45pm. Fronts on Geary between 11th and 12th Avenue.

A clean smaller size room with a pretty comfortable king bed, decent enough walk in shower (small) and a decent remodeled bathroom. Room had pretty much everything you expect - a flat screen, microwave, mini fridge, room safe - with a work desk and chair along with another two chairs

Great value! Rooms are nice and very clean, attendants are friendly. Easy to find ur room. The restroom was very nicely renovated, good sized closet. Has a desk and coffee available. Fridge and microwave and awesome sized tv.

The only downside is parking. It's very tight and first come first served so if ur late you'll have to park on the streets. There aren't the amount of parking spots as there are rooms.
