Rovers will consider long-term guests (30+ days) on a very select case-by-case basis. You may download a month-to-month application and return it through the mail slot in the office, scan to e-mail, or through the post. Please call with questions (541) 563-3485. Our park is small, peaceful, safe and very pet friendly with a much-loved area where your dog can run off-leash.
You can fish or kayak right from our wetlands. Or just sit by the river and enjoy the spectacular view. Your pets will love it here - and so will you! Rovers RV Park sites are large with plenty of space to enjoy our long summer evenings. We have a large communal greenspace and fire pit area. We actively encourage recycling and strive to be as green as possible with our campers' help.

In 2013, after twenty-three years of living in Alaska, my husband Ben and I packed our dogs, Zoe and Kaylee, and our cat, Maddie, in our motorhome and took off with the vague idea of moving somewhere in Oregon. As luck would have it, our house didn't sell as planned, and we were "forced" to continue travelling long after we'd planned.
Whether it's crabbing or fishing the Alsea, whale watching, beachcombing, agate hunting, bargain hunting at the local flea markets or outlet mall in Lincoln City, racing around the sand dunes near Florence, hiking the hillsides at Cape Perpetua, or just sitting quietly and enjoying nature, Rovers RV Park is perfectly located on the central Oregon coast.

This is our type of park. Family owned and quiet. Sites are spacious, hook ups good. 40 channels of cable and wifi included. It is all about location for this park, right on Alsea River, lots of wildlife to watch, and put your in kayaks from the shore. Great off leash dog area, communal fire pit. Only 3 miles from the ocean.

Nice and quiet park. A small park right on the bay. No tent camping allowed. More long terms here than short term. It has one small bath house/bathroom since it is a smaller park. Always clean, lawn well cared for. No campfires allowed unless it's a propane fire pit. Great dog walk areas, is on Hwy 34 which is very busy.

Rovers RV park has been the best park we have stopped at.
The spaces here are extremely big compared to other RV parks, consisting of 3 "lanes" you have space for your car, your RV, and plenty of rec space in between!
With 2 large dogs, the off leash area is amazing to get the morning jitters out, and there are tons of trails and beach access close to the park as well.
The owners are incredibly friendly, and try to provide the best experience you can have.
We will be coming back to the area, and absolutely will stay at Rovers!

My favorite RV park! Friendly owners. Beautiful park. It is on the bay. There is a giant off leash area right on the bay. My dog loved running around in the water and on the grass. There is interesting bird watching too. There are two bald eagles in one of the back trees. We will absolutely go back, probably every year. Extremely pet friendly. Great wifi reception for verizon and at&t, if you work on the road, like I do.

We were driving from Northern California hoping to find a campground near Yachats. Every single one was full and when we came upon rovers park we were amazed that there were several openings. As we drove in I was very hesitant since it did not look inviting at first. Our site, number 24, is right at the beginning of a path leading to the water. There is a mowed area to walk and benches that are very inviting. We initially were planning on staying for one night but we are staying for since we love it so much. This is by far one of the sweetest places that we've ever stayed. Very friendly people

I have stayed here now for 2 years in a row and will likely return again next summer. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. The RV park is well-maintained and located next to the Alsea River.
I have a dog who became best buds with one of the owners' dogs and they played often at the dog park along the river during our one-month stay and the dogs had the greatest of times. The RV park has all the amenities I like and does not have a swimming pool which, in my opinion, only adds to the peace and quiet of this RV park.
It is located so conveniently to Waldport and Newport and is just far

We have visited Rovers RV park three times. Each time we have enjoyed our stay. This last time we were there for the eclipse- WOW! The eclipse was unbelievable. All of the residents were invited down to the gathering area for an eclipse viewing. The hosts provided a wonderful brunch with pastries and handmade scotch eggs (yum). Ben our host cuts fire wood everyday so the guests can have a fire at the end of the day. The park is especially good for dog owners/lovers. There is a meandering path to walk the dogs and a large green area for ball throwing. The park is on the Alsea river. Our lab especially

We spent a week at this park a year ago and enjoyed the experience so much that we came back this year for a month. We will not return. We have always flown the US flag at the rear of our 5th wheel but at this park, this year, the owner became very angry and told us that we could take the flag down or he would throw us out. He told us that he was concerned about what people would think if they saw the US flag on an RV in his park. This came a few hours after we paid $500 for the month. No refund, of course. Last year it was no problem. Same flag, same flagpole, same attachment to the 5th

We stayed at Chinook for 6 weeks and could have stayed longer if we wanted to.
This park is absolutely fabulous for those of us traveling with pets. The owners are great dog lovers and they will do anything to make you and your pets feel welcome.
The park is small with excellent amenities, washer/dryer room, full hook ups, cable tv, and the wifi is free and excellent strength. I know this really is exceptional. Most parks will tell you they have free wifi but most are hardly usable and have the pace of a 2400 baud modem in the '90's.
It is not really a park for those with kids, there
