This category "Fish Pics" was created as a way for our guests to "show off" their catch. It was first established Sept. 26, 2006. Therefore, we've only just begun posting up photos and stories of "the big catches". We'll also be posting up photos and tales from our guests as they come in. Enjoy this category, and if you've caught fish, crab - or a cold - at the Alsea River RV Park, write in and tell us all about it.
The Scenery is lovely and serene, the managers friendly & helpful. A They went out of their way to be kind to our 11 year old son so that his stay was special too. A If we ever come this way (from Florida) again, we will look you up. We just wanted to say thanks again for the great time we had at your park.

This was our base camp for the 5 days we were in Waldport. Camp spots right on the river were beautiful. Nancy is the greatest camp host we’ve ever dealt with. She came around every day to chat and make sure we… were comfortable. She was a great source for local information, not only on the Alsea river but for other places to see in the PNW region. We had other family in the area and they were always welcome to come and drop their crab pots off her pier and hang out whenever they wanted. Nancy and her husband have great plans for this little spot in paradise and we can’t wait

This was such a well maintained and cared for park. The owners went out of their way to help us . We didn’t have a converter and Nancy was calling her friend down the road to assist! We had loose plans and the holiday week was difficult to accommodate our 37 foot rug, but Nancy said no problem and we stayed for 4 nights! Close to Newport by 25 minutes, and Depoe a bay by 30. But the drive was no problem because of the famous 101 coastal views
I would definitely recommend and give them a call!
Rootbeer floats and lots of information on the town they were amazing hosts

Host Nancy went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. It's a very pretty part of the river, though I had never been in this part of Or before. The sites were simple (which is fine). The only thing you need to be aware of is that there is no septic hookup for most sites, there is a place to dump in Waldport. Nice, new dock, kids had a blast fishing for bullheads off the dock. Salmon run had not really started yet.

My family and I have never had a more welcoming stay. With beautiful views of the Alsea river and such wonderful hosts Nancy and Jeff treat everyone like family. We will always stay here when in Waldport and highly recommend to anyone who’s looking. Continually updating the property too, can’t wait to see what they come up with next 🦀🌈☀️

We spent 2 nights here while exploring Yachats and Waldport. It’s located just a few minutes from the coast. The new owners were friendly and accommodating. They were truly wonderful to talk with, made some… great recommendations and were so kind to our large family. We felt welcome and well taken care of. The setting was beautiful and relaxing next to the Alsea River, with nice picnic tables and firepits. The bathrooms were clean and the shower was hot with great pressure. We will be back and highly recommend it!
