Where do I start? Skylaranna was an awesome experience for me and my family, especially because we felt at home being out of home. Erin was exceptional with us and she was always there to solve any issues or answer any questions we may had.
Rooms were very modern, and the rest of the house was in pretty good shape, including the garden and surroundings.
Even Connor, Erin’s son, was very helpful and kind throughout the whole trip; along with Jody and they housekeeping staff, which was very attentive during our stay.

We stayed here during COVID for my daughters birthday party & it was an very enjoyable experience. The view was amazing, there was a bunch to do on the premises + alot to do in the area. About 15-30 mins away from amazing attractions & the staff are very friendly. The owner was very catering & my daughter had a wonderful birthday.

Property was beautiful, clean and everything we needed for an overnight stay to the Asheville area. Check in is contactless and simple, they are quick to respond if needed.
For the reviews complaining about breakfast…if you’ve traveled any at all then you know that continental breakfast does not typically include hot items, so the description tells you exactly what you’re getting.
If ever needed, we would definitely return.

Always a treat to stay at the skylaranna . Clean safe and comfortable place to spend a few days . Staff are top shelf professionals . In particular is Erin who is first to make ya feel at home and ensures all your needs are met . Enjoyed the simple yet efficient way to grab a coffee and a quick simple breakfast fix prior to heading out for the day . Been here numerous occasions and was never disappointed with anything ! Beautiful and quiet!!! Perfect place for a weekend getaway!!! The staff (Erin)was nice and helpful!!! They have construction going on right now but it didn't bother us...we stayed in the looking glass falls room..it has a beautiful view of the mountains and is on the 4th floor!! We will definitely return to enjoy the whole resort!! Excited for the cabins to come!!!

My boyfriend and I have visited Elevations Chophouse twice, once on August 31st and again on October 12th. Both times we were able to walk in, and immediately be seated. The first time we were served by Zach, and the second time we were served by Jacob - both provided outstanding service and truly welcomed my boyfriend and I to the restaurant. They are both very knowledgeable about bourbon, (something I'm sure they can remember speaking to my boyfriend about the entire time we were there). My stay was good because the surroundings were picturesque. We went for our 4th year wedding anniversary for a romantic getaway. The room we selected common space was great but the bed was a queen and I am 5'10 and my husband is 6'3'' so the bed was to small and uncomfortable as well as the sloped ceiling which I kept hitting my head on getting in an out of the bed. Also the room was not sound proof so we heard every conversation at the restaurant and the planes overhead.

Picturesque and quaint! My spouse and I had a great time during our night here. Our room, the Looking Glass Falls room, had the best view in a hotel I've ever had! Imagine waking up to a postcard perfect view of the Appalachians!
The decor is very fresh and fits the area well with all the split agate art on the walls. The free breakfast is a great start to the day.
Erin was a fantastic host and told us about the expansions being added in the next year. We'll definitely be back soon!

Newly remodeled and still under construction. Breakfast area is small and not much to choose from. Shower was barely warm until almost the end and it got really hot. The shower door would not stay closed. It was comfortable and all the new fixtures and furniture was nice. The place was super clean. They are adding a spa and cabins so when all is complete it should be a nice place to relax.

Ordered our food and waited over an hour to receive the meals. Two tables seated after our party received their food with no issues. When our food arrived we found out they ran out of all sides for our 4 steak courses. Kitchen staff also decided to ration lobster; giving some at our table small portions and others at our table what looked like the scraps. Some plates received no sides; where others received a substitute (without consulting to check if it was okay). One meal out of 6 was completely Luke

If your looking for an intimate yet charming romantic dinner experience you'll find it here. The atmosphere is beautiful set with a panoramic moutain scene from your table. Our food was prepared amazingly with fresh ingredients that were thoughtfully arranged. The cocktails were outstanding and the service was punctual and gracious. The owners were very friendly and made you feel appreciated. Our Valentines will be forever remembered from our experience at Elevations Chophouse. Job well done.
