This room is on the ground floor and has a King Bed and has been designed for people needing a little extra assistance. The room is done in browns and tan and has a tasteful bear theme. There is AC/heat and an electric fireplace in the room for ambience. The room has its own Private Entrance and Bathroom.
In your room at arrival 12 long-stemmed red roses and 4 large chocolate-covered strawberries freshly dipped and made by Chef Rich. A great way to set the romance mood for the person you love! Call or text 828-980-0360 to request. What a great way to say Happy Anniversary or Happy Birthday or I love you!
The owners are very warm and welcoming. The rooms are well appointed and the linens and bed is extremely comfortable. The entire establishment is very clean and welcoming. Another major mention that sets them apart is her knowledle of the area and he is a true Chef. The breakfast that they offer are truly gourmet and spectacular.

This place is a hidden gem. If you don't mind your escape bed and breakfast style ...this is the place to go in Lake Lure. Walking distance to the beach, market, great for dogs - a very dog friendly place and less than 10 mins drive to lake house restaurants and bars. Enjoy the mountain view views, a cozy roof deck and ground level with a great fireplace deck. Will come back. Thanks

My girlfriend and I stayed here a couple weeks ago, this was our first Bed & Breakfast experience, it was amazing! The owners were very nice and provided great hospitality! They prepared an amazing breakfast for us in the morning, they also left access for us to the kitchen for the day until 8:30pm. There was an outdoor lounge area to smoke cigars and enjoy a nice fore from the outdoor wood burning fireplace, the bed was amazingly comfortable, and the room was super clean! I highly recommend this place and want to come back again!

This bed and breakfast was fantastic. From the delicious breakfasts in the morning, to the very friendly and generous owners, this place hits all the marks and delivers a great experience. Looking forward to making a future trip to the Lake Lure/Asheville area and staying here again, cant imagine looking at anywhere else as an option.

Our stay was nothing short of wonderful! Our room was cozy, very clean, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. I only wish we could have stayed longer! Driveway and parking are a bit tight, but this is to be expected at a lot of mountain properties. Very close to the town center of Lake Lure. Owners had great suggestions and recommendations for local hikes, restaurants, shops, etc.

We just spent the weekend and we were blown away by the cleanliness of the room, the owner's hospitality, and the tranquility of the property. The lodge is situated amongst the trees and located in close proximity to the shops in the center of town, Chimney Rock, and the lake. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! We can't wait to go back and stay again to explore more of the area.

This is my 1st 100% rating ever on anything. Kimberly and Rich were absolutely amazing from the second I called to book our stay to the very last wave goodbye for now. Our room was spotless, comfortable and just the right amount of space. The breakfast each morning was delicious and Rich's creations will keep you thinking "what's for breakfast tomorrow ". Can't thank them enough for being such amazing hosts. We will definitely see you again soon. And I think I owe Rich a dinner 😆

Booked the lodge for my wedding guests. It was absolutely perfect. The owners were fabulous, accommodating and made sure everyone was happy. Every single guest talked about the wonderful sleep they had in the amazing beds and the 5 star breakfast. Loved everything about the place and the owners. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

What a catch! I booked the Grafton Lodge without doing much research and we really lucked out. The Grafton is located right off the main road around Lake Lure.
They were great at accommodating our late arrival and had the room ready and "fire" on for us on a chilly winter evening. The room was clean and comfortable. The best shower grout was sparkling clean (which is one of my tests for cleanliness). They have a great kitchen where they fix breakfast in the morning. Both owners were really nice.
The breakfast?! Devine! The owner is a "retired" chef who treated us to carmelized

This lodge is wonderful! The rooms are cozy and welcoming. The owners have clearly spent some time making the place special for guests. We even sat out at the covered patio with a warm fire while the rain came down. We were treated to a glorious breakfast of eggs, biscuits, and sausage gravy to die for! Definitely a place to re-visit. Thank you!

We just had a wonderful two day stay at Grafton Lodge. We had room five. Lovely room. King bed. Most comfy, everything about the bed, sheets, pillows. Clean. Perfect for our stay. Kim and Rich were just so friendly and accommodating and gave us great ideas. Rich being a chef, made us excellent breakfast in the mornings. They really are a wonderful couple and team and we really enjoyed our time.

A lovely place to spend the night. The owners, Kim and Rich were very accommodating and sweet. The room #5 was spacious and the decor was beautiful. We were even served vegan pancakes made by Rich that were delicious before our hike to Chimney Rock. It was nice having a common kitchen at our disposal with well stocked teas, coffee and hot chocolate. Definitely recommend.

I've been to Lake Lure several times, but this was my first time staying at the Grafton Lodge. Susan and Martyn were very gracious: they met me later in the evening for check-in and made sure that I would be able to have a good breakfast even with my early schedule. The breakfast was incredible: blueberry-orange waffles, real maple syrup, bacon, and fresh pressed fruit juice. The room was very cozy with a spacious bathroom. The lodge is quiet, and free parking is close to the room. My visit was perfect; I know where I will be coming on future trips!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying this weekend at Grafton Lodge and it was amazing! Kim and Rich, the new proprietors, are fantastic and made our stay truly memorable. Our room was very nicely appointed and you could not ask for a better location, just minutes from Lake Lure and Chimney Rock and 20 minutes from Hendersonville. The breakfasts each morning were delicious, homemade casseroles and omelets and Kim and Rich really made us feel at home.
Great work guys, we cannot wait until our next trip to Lake Lure so we can once again enjoy the wonderful hospitality of the Grafton Lodge

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were in for 1 night for a wedding at the Lake Lure Inn (which was more than double the price of the Grafton Lodge, and just 0.5 miles away!) and everything was great. The room was clean and quaint, the lodge itself was nice and quiet, and the proprietor was friendly and helpful. We stayed at the main lodge and there were several nice little sitting areas outside with various tables and chairs etc, just nice places to relax for a little bit.
Would recommend to others and would stay here again.

I was so pleased with our experience here! We came with family for a weekend of waterfall hunting, bbq eating, and Chimney Rock climbing. I really was blown away by the staff here. I forgot a razor and they hunted one down for me! We got to park right outside of our room and the accommodations were lovely - comfortable bed, clean bathroom...exactly what you need. We even had a fairly large TV in our room, even though we didn't really need it. The lodge is so close to town and don't even get me started on their breakfast - they bake all of the breads in the morning and they are scrumptious

We stayed in the Hill House for a weekend getaway for our 25th anniversary. The weather was frigid when we arrived Friday night, but we opened the front door to find that the lights and the heat were left on for us. How nice is that?
We loved the house, everything was perfect except for the showers. We were forgiving of the long wait for hot water, as it was below freezing outside. But the pressure was low on both showers, and both stalls were uncomfortably small for a big guy like me. Otherwise, I can't wait to come back when the weather allows for some exploring. Oh, and no WiFi could

It was very clean. The local area is great, near lake lure, chimney rock, biltmore and more.
A couple things, it is not on the lake,,, not really even close, you couldn't walk there. The canoe they have is a few miles away.
We stayed in the nuthatch cabin.
It's on the smallish side but adequate. One bathroom. Small TV, 19" maybe. AC but only in living room, and very loud when running.
The noise from the woods outside was amazing at night. Slept great. No where close to do laundry, bring extra clothes, or just don't wear any.
Overall it was ok. Just doesn't have that appeal

This place is the perfect getaway for those couples looking to relax and enjoy the scenery of Lake Lure. Located just parallel to the main road, it's quiet and beautifully set in the heart of the mountains. The owners Susan and Martyn were very accommodating and serve a quaint breakfast. We stayed in the Courtyard Room in the main lodge which worked perfectly for us, with a patio balcony right outside of our room. There are also several cabins to choose from, but were unfortunately already booked for the weekend. We didn't give them a whole lot of notice, but they gladly took us in. I

We stayed at the "Acorn" cabin for the weekend and really loved it. Everything was very clean and plenty of room. The bed is big and comfortable and the tv works well - cable comes in like a charm. Kitchen had everything you would need for the most part, although we did get "take out" a lot so really didn't cook. The fridge is a large mini-fridge so really no freezer room and not a lot of fridge room, just fyi. The bathtub/jacuzzi works great. Only downside is the window unit is a little noisy but it's in the other room with the tv and sofa so it's not so noisy
