Sublime restful time in beautiful spacious setting. Staff so accommodating and courteous. Restaurant wonderful. Most importantly, they have devised systems to insure impeccable sanitation of accommodations because of Covid. We return time and again to this unique find tucked away in a charming town . Will not disappoint!

We decided at the last minute to getaway to the mountains but were nervous in light of the pandemic. From the first contact with Steve, we felt more comfortable about the decision. We stayed in Sourwood Cottage which is quite lovely and comfortable. It was very clean and updated. We loved sitting on the screened porch overlooking the meadow with the goats. The community is very quiet and lovely. It's nice to walk around. Highland Lake Properties is centrally located and very convenient to good dining, shopping, hiking and sightseeing. It is very close to Hendersonville, Asheville and the highways

We have visited Highland Lake Properties numerous times and we have loved every stay at the Garden Hamlet Cottages. I love the peace and quiet of the mornings and the great environment for children. Steve Collins has made all of our stay here in HLP the best. We have stayed at 8 to 10 cabins on the property and I love them all. My Daughter has literally grown up visiting this property. Thanks again HLP and Steve.

Talked to Steve this afternoon and booked Dancing Bears at The Hamlet for Christmas!!! Yay... so looking forward to a few days in this wonderful and peaceful spot! We've stayed in Buttercup, Good Night Moon, and Wood Duck before and can't wait to dance with the bears! All of the cottages are very well equipped, nicely decorated, spotless, and very comfortable. A great place to enjoy Flat Rock and Hendersonville!!!
