As first time home buyers, we were learning as we went with the process and long checklist of all that needs to be done. Our realtor scheduled us with Tom at Accurate Inspections, and it was a fast, seamless, worry-free experience. Tom was responsive and got us scheduled asap. He was extremely detailed during his time spent at the property and provided just as detailed of a report to us for our records. He even took time to explain things in layman's terms. I had Tom inspect 3 of my Bay Area houses over the last 7 years. As other reviewers have mentioned, Tom was professional, experienced, honest, and personable. What impressed me about Tom was his focus on important details. One example is that he found that the ventilation in one area of the crawl space was inadequate, and suggested installing a fan-forced ventilation system to prevent termite issues later on.

Found Accurate Inspections on yelp and they were great! Tom emailed to coordinate for the schedule and JT came to inspect our home. He was really informative and had a lot of knowledge about different aspects of the home. The inspection itself took 2.5 hours but I'm sure it'll depend on the size and condition of your house. The report came in two days with recommendations. Thanks again Tom and JT!

JT did a fantastic with our new home inspection. He was detailed and accurate, and took the time to explain all his findings as he was making them, helping me get a great understanding of my new home, what fixes / improvements were required, and the impact and severity of each.
