Kitchenettes available. Our Story about this family owned motel. Property was sold by Sophia Vogel to Frank and Sophia Loppenthien (Albert and Sopia Vogel's youngest daughter). Seven log cabins were constructed along the east property line. The Carriage house was remodeled at about the same time to accommodate five rental rooms and bathroom facilities for the tenants.
Kitchenettes available. Room options include single king bed, two double beds, king bed suites, queen beds. KITCHENETTE SUITES includes sofa sleeper, stove, large refrigerator & complete cooking facilities. With our multiple room options, we're sure your needs will be met during your stay in Ludington.

Horrible experience here. Two friends and I went to Michigan for a fishing trip and booked a room here. We booked the biggest suite they had, it was built on above there home in which they live. The suite layout and feel was a dorm room. One of the tvs sound wasn’t working so we called to have it looked at. The gentleman that owns the place came in and was very aggressive and asked if we were smoking in the suite. We said no he looked at the tv and left. We went outside to smoke and the guy came out and was furious with us and I asked why and he said I guess the smoking area doesn’t apply to

I've never been treated so poorly by management anywhere. First they gave my room away and stuffed me in a room half the size. I was told I could have the correct room on the following Thursday if no one else reserved it online so I made a second reservation for the suite I reserved to begin with. Thursday comes along and my room was again given away. So I asked when I could have the room I reserved and was told I needed to talk to Kelly so I asked to have Kelly call me and was told " I will ask her but I doubt she will call you." Definitely not a pet friendly hotel if you have a pitbull mix service animal. Was in town for a week said she had availability and when she seen my son service animal there were not any availability. Know for a fact true north puts up homeless people there. Owner was very rude and very stuck up. I would never recommend this place to anyone ever that's traveling with pets.

I posted a review twice now since the first one Naders said was fake trying to get it removed. There are IN FACT BED BUGS AND ROACHES!!! See me first review below for full explained experience! I don’t care how many time it’s removed I’ll post it every day! PEOPLE DESERVE TO KNOW THE TERRIBLE CONDITIONS OF THIS MOTEL! So many health violations it’s DIRTY! & THEY DO NOT REFUND! We always frequent Ludington and have stayed at various pet friendly accommodations. Nader's by far was the best. It has been newly renovated with comfortable beds and clean rooms. The facility has a pool, fire pit, bikes available and games. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. Highly recommend. Looking forward to next year.

Inexpensive, clean, and very friendly...plus the most beautiful beach is directly across the street...please don't sleep on this location or this town, it should be packed with visitors from all over the world...it is definitely heaven on earth if you do a little local traveling and research...can't wait to return! They have a pool on site and they have pet friendly rooms for a very nominal fee...

Couldn't be more disappointed with the owners here at Naders. I am a local who was staying here long term because of some house work being done. The house keepers would go into my room with out permission and ended up stealing from my room. And when the owners decided they wanted to talk to me about it she called me at 7:30 AM. First that was just rude, second she couldn't and wouldn't talk to me in person. I ended up leaving and staying somewhere else where I can trust where the employees are not coming into my room with out my permission.

We came here this weekend based on the reviews and price. And it did not disappoint. It is very clean not your average motel. They have lawn games set up and a fire pit. The room was very clean. A few things that would make it even better but definitely not affect the star review. A mirror in the main room so 2 people can get ready at the same time. A better shower head (not much pressure) and finally a softer mattress. My back is killing me, but I know many people like firm mattresses. Even if they were medium that would be better :)

Naders Motel and Suites in Ludington MI is a place that my family has been vacationing at for over 40 years. My mother decided to cancel her reservation this year due to covid. Naders is stating they did not receive her cancellation request so they are charging her over $300 for a room that she did not utilize. She absolutely called and their lack of detail is the issue here. They don't care that we have been going there for many years and have never once caused them any issues/problems. Clean! Comfortable! Large rooms! - My son and I stayed at Nader's Lakeshore Motor Lodge, two rooms, two nights. The rooms were great. Obviously Nader's understands great customer service, as the rooms were clean and warm when we arrived. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were quiet throughout our stay. Everything in our rooms worked as expected. The bathrooms were clean, great showers, plenty of water pressure, and plenty of hot water.
I travel for work every few weeks, and I stay in "big name" hotels in big cities all over the place. Rarely do I leave a property thinking

Horrible place, on all of their websites and all online booking companies advertise as pet friendly! drove 100 miles with our dog booked for 4 months said they had no pet rooms left and would not return our $377 deposit! owner was a super snooty and would not return our deposit with no place to stay with our young children and dog! turned into an argument because supposedly we were not supposed to be upset about them not letting us stay with our 4 month reservation and then them keeping our $377 deposit it was unbelievable!!!!!! completely ridiculous horrible customer service! i'm still

This is a very clean and well appointed roadside motel. Outside spacious pool in season. Convenient gas grills with picnic tables easily accessible by all the units and numerous ones to boot. Across the road from Lake Michigan and conveniently located five minutes from downtown Ludington

Cheaply built property. Noise from one unit travels to the next unit. Door locks are cheap. A bar was not provided to block the sliding door.
Unit mostly clean but a large stain on the bedroom carpet.
The heating unit in the sitting room/ kitchen did not blow any warm air. The heating unit in the bedroom worked fine.
The free wifi has the second slowest speed of any hotel I stayed in the last two weeks.

Overall, Nader's accomplished what we were looking for: a nice, clean place to stay that was within walking distance of downtown Ludington for an affordable price. However, in the end, we came away a tad disappointed. Nothing jumps out negatively, but we did not get all that we were expecting. After researching the Nader's website and tripadvisor, we were expecting to have a room with a sliding door to the outside and outdoor seating right outside the room. However, we were placed in a room connected to the main office - with no outside access. And three of the small windows in the room

Stopped here late one night for a room. The rates were reasonable. Room was nice and clean, though the place is a bit old. Only real complaint was the fixtures in the bathroom could have been a little more up-to-date. The owner was as friendly as could be, and a real pleasure to work with.
Only other complaint was that local food delivery was weak, but it was 10pm-ish on a Sunday night, so I guess finding anything still open would be a success. This was in no way the fault of the motel, of course.
