Every year, antique tractors travel on the Badger to appear at the Western Michigan Old Engine Club Show, and the Nova Motel is their favorite place to stay!

Services
Not all motels and hotels are created equal. The Nova Motel is set up to be family-friendly. As you drive in, you'll immediately notice the cozy horseshoe shape, which gives a safe, intimate feeling. The heated outdoor pool is a welcome alternative to going to the beach and can keep kids busy all day long.
Ludington's Mason County Fairgrounds hosts the Western Michigan Fair near the end of July-but it's a very busy place from May-October with numerous horse shows that take place most summer weekends. The Nova Motel is the obvious lodging choice, as it's just a minute down the road from the fairgrounds.

A cute, homely, clean, "mom and pop" owned motel. Our visit was a 3 day stay, we were located in room #28, which also happens to be a handicap accessible room! They have a pool and spa on site (pool and spa is unlocked and available at certain times), there was coffee and small snacks accessible in the main office. The owners and staff were very polite and friendly and the downtown and beach isn't located too to far away from the motel, maybe 5/10 minutes away. So yes, be sure to stop and stay at the Nova!! Thanks for our stay!

Extremely happy with our stay!! We arrived late at night and our room was clean and comfortable. The next morning it was cold and rainy, so we didn’t think we’d be swimming in their outdoor pool, so we turned in our keys and went into town. As the day went on it got warm and sunny, so we went back and asked if we could swim and the owner said yes absolutely! He even asked if we had towels (we did not) and he came out with a few for us. VERY nice place, VERY friendly and helpful staff, for a VERY good price! Will definitely be coming back next time!

Only stayed one night because of an early procedure at the hospital the next day. The room was cozy and clean, the bed was comfy and they welcomed our two dogs without condition. It had a small fridge which was great, although it did have a bit of an odor. All in all, it worked perfectly for what I needed it for.

My wife and I have stayed at the Nova a few times over the past years. This is a low operating budget motel. No shampoo so bring you own. No hair dryer or iron. Although they are pet friendly if you leave your pet in the room unattended they will not clean the room. Our Labrador is very docile and friendly and although I made a point of telling the maid there was no concern she did not even venture into the room. Our last night there we returned to the room and found what appeared to be two bed bugs. So long, we left at 12:30 AM and will not be back.

i stayed here a while back and it was nice, the pool was nice when it was open. I like to stay at a mom and pop motel sometimes. the place was nice and a good rate. My room was clean and the lady running the place had helpful hints about places to go in Ludington.
