Vista Villa Motel has been in the Ludington, Michigan area for over 59 years. Steve and Rita Horowski are third generation owners and operators of this very clean and quiet motel. We offer 40 spacious rooms and have many room types, from queen to king and even some whirlpool rooms are available for rent.

Please call the motel for more information about all our room types. Our rooms include free local and long distance calls, a fridge in every room, cable TV with HBO and ESPN and free wifi. Help yourself to a coffee and Danish, provided every morning between 8:00am - 12:00pm in the office. In our sitting area we have a fish freezer, vending machines, ice machine and tables and chairs for guests to use.

Never in my life have been treated so poorly by a hotel. The lady I believe is going nutso. Crazily came out screaming because I lit a cigarette in my own vehicle.

My husband and I have stayed here several times when visiting Ludington. The rates are lower than most places, which is a big deal in a tourist town. Refrigerator in every room and a communal microwave by the ice machine and a full size refrigerator if you need it. It’s a small mom & pop place and they are feeling the strain of not having help due to all the Covid stuff.
That being said, we recently stayed there for my mother’s funeral. We ended up in a tiny room with no bathtub (just a shower) and no dresser. Fine, didn’t really care about that, just needed a place to stay. My issue is

My boyfriend and I stayed here after he told me about the good experiences he's had over the years--he was spot on!
Rita is incredibly sweet and accommodating. The room was impeccable and we were very pleased overall with our stay.

I'm a disabled heart patient with a licensed service dog and I was just denied lodging because the owner would NOT allow my dog. He said he doesn't give a f**** if I'm disabled or not. Please don't support people like this!!

I got a single queen size bed room for a few nights in August and was very happy with my stay. Very affordable and close to everything in Ludington! The owners were very friendly, the grounds are well-kept, and the room is extremely clean. I recommend them and would stay there again. The room was small but adequate for a single bed. It's not a five-star hotel by any means but I'm scoring on the fact that when I go anywhere on vacation, I don't go away to spend a lot of time hanging around the hotel or motel, anyway. All I want is affordability, safety, quiet, clean, comfortable

Wow what a gem of a motel. Their grounds alone are worth the price of admission. Extremely well kept grounds and the buildings are in immaculate condition on the outside. Makes anybody want to spend a night there. The prices are extremely fair and the people who take care of you at check in are over the top accommodating. We arrived on a motorcycle and the lady who checked us in gave us a bag of clean towels to wile down the bike. If you ride you will appreciate this gesture
Rooms are nice and clean have separate shower and tub ( at least room 16 does)
Plenty of free parking convenient

Clean rooms, less expensive than nearby motels, especially with the "government discount". Motorcycle friendly. What more can you ask for?

This was a step back in time. If you're looking for fancy and don't mind paying for it then this little motel is not for you. But, if you want a very clean room, really good light to apply makeup (much better than many of the more expensive hotels ) you'll fit right in. We paid $50 for a king room. While it didn't sparkle new it was very comfortable.
