Albemarle Inn
Welcome to the Albemarle Inn, our home in Asheville, North Carolina. We invite you to enjoy our lovingly restored 1909 Greek Revival mansion during your visit to Asheville. Stay and allow us to provide you with a relaxing, quiet respite from your hectic and busy world.

Located in the tranquil residential Grove Park District of Asheville, our Inn offers the best of Asheville: Biltmore Estate, downtown eateries & nightlife, shopping, the Blue Ridge Parkway, National Parks and Forests, and outdoor sports all within your grasp.A two mile drive from our door places you in the heart of downtown, Biltmore Village and endless activities.
Services
In 1909 near the foot of Sunset Mountain in north Asheville, Dr. Carl V. Reynolds (1872-1963) constructed a large Neoclassical Revival style house for his private residence. Reynolds, then City Health Officer, was a native of Asheville descended on both lines from prominent Buncombe County families.
Fabrizio Chiariello has the perfect combination of business intuitiveness and social grace to be the host of the luxurious Albemarle Inn. His European charm is readily apparent upon entering the Inn. His many years in international banking and private industry assure the smooth running of the operations of the Inn.
The Albemarle Inn, a property of almost 2 acres, is nestled into the base of Sunset Mountain. Center to the property is of course the Inn itself, a massive Stone and white clapboard structure, built in 1909 in the Classic Greek Revival Style. Its impressive Corinthian columns and wide stone veranda evoke the image of a Southern Mansion, where one enjoys daily reposes outside as much as inside.
In 2013, the Albemarle Inn has once again received the prestigious AAA Four Diamond award. This marks ten years in a row that we have been Asheville's only Bed and Breakfast to receive such an honor. Our membership to this exclusive group places us among the top professionally inspected and guest-reviewed luxury Inns in America.
My wife and I spent our first night at the Albemarle Inn on our way to the Smoky Mountains. What a wonderful beginning in a lovely home, beautifully furnished and charming hosts. The breakfast was outstanding and we would come back anytime we are in the area. Thank you Rosemary and Fabrizio. My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Asheville at the Albemarle Inn.

What a hidden gem! The inn is located just a few minutes from downtown Asheville and literally on the edge of Grove Park Inn. We stayed in the Ribbons and Roses room which was located on first floor with a spacious shower and a very cozy fireplace.
Rosemary & Fabrizio were the perfect hosts.
Definitely will return for a longer stay!

After looking at a number of options we selected the Albemarle Inn for our wedding and it could not have been better. The inn itself is beautiful inside and out, providing a great setting for the service - the veranda - and a perfect backdrop for pictures in multiple locations. Most of all Rosemary is a gracious and accommodating hostess, providing us everything we needed and more leading up to and during our service. We're grateful to have found the Inn and Rosemary and we highly recommend it to anyone considering wedding venues in Asheville.

I was looking for a wedding venue in the Asheville area for only 12 people. A lot Of places offer an elopement package for 12 or so guests. But Albemarle had the best package options and Rosemary was so quick to assist with any questions we had. We chose the Sunday afternoon package and stayed in the Juliet Suite for the weekend. The breakfast we were served was unbelievable and the food for our wedding was so incredibly good. While we were taking photos they had a small cheese tray with hummus and breads, I didn’t get a break to eat but my family was raving about it to me. We did not taste the

Our stay was a true delight. The Albemarle Inn does so well to show the handiwork, prestige and charm of early 20th Century craftsmanship. My wife and I recommend a stay to get away from everything. The bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was so delicious. Everything was well cared for and easily provides a place to relax. Hand sanitation and supplies were available to guests. Location is perfect for enjoying the city of Asheville.

Beautiful and cozy place in a great location for visiting Asheville. My husband and I stayed in the Royal Hideaway Suite for two nights on our honeymoon this week. Could not have asked for a better experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, and we were catered to so well. The breakfasts were yummy and the other amenities were great, especially for the price. Wish we had stayed another night! We will definitely return in the future.

Absolutely gorgeous, unique, step back in to a different time. Cute neighborhood to take a stroll, or have coffee in the courtyard. Also, don't forget the friendly house Cat that you'll see coming in for the night. Very quiet too.

We literally never give a full 5 stars to anyone, because there is always something that could be slightly improved. We give Albemarle Inn 9 stars. One for value for the dollar, one for beauty and cleanliness of the Inn and grounds, one for attention to detail, one for outstanding cuisine, one for helpfulness, one for excellent communication practices, one for generosity, one for exceeding our expectations in every conceivable way, and one for the best staff anywhere (Sarah and Danielle).

One of the aspects that added value was that Rosemary truly listened to what we wanted, and happily met our

I got married at the Albemarle Inn, and it was perfect. I can't recommend it highly enough.

The allure of the Albemarle is obvious -- it's a beautiful old house with a lovely garden outside, and it's in a great location, so it's an easy drive to anywhere in Asheville. My husband and I dropped in shortly after we got engaged to see what kind of wedding packages they offer, and Sarah was so accommodating and welcoming. We immediately knew this was the place we wanted to get married.

Sarah and Rosemary (the owner) continued to be very responsive to emails over the next few months

We enjoyed our stay. Quiet and accommodating. Clean and up to date. Beds were luxurious and bathrooms were also up to date. B&B continental breakfasts by nature are always limited and cannot realistically meet the needs of the growing list of dietary restrictions and so this cannot be used as a complaint. There are plenty of restaurants in Asheville and plenty of refrigerator space is available for guests. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this to friends and family.

I love old houses, so when I saw the Albemarle Inn was a beautiful inn with a history--we had to stay here at least one night The owners are nice people, and our stay was quiet and cozy. We had the third floor to ourselves in the Royal Hideaway room, which has the jet tub to relax in. The breakfast in the morning was so good! We would definitely stay here again.

We did an elopement here. The inn is huge, charming, and beautiful . Lou Ellen was great and very helpful. She and Rosemary made our stay very welcoming and special. The bed and pillows were so comfy in the Royal Hideaway room and the jacuzzi tub was really nice. Everything was exceptionally clean and the breakfasts were to die for . Rosemary is an excellent cook. She made strawberry stuffed French toast and it was the best thing I've ever had. We hope to come back and stay for many anniversaries to come!

Thank you so much, Rosemary! We really enjoyed our stay. We really liked the local places you recommended and it was very sweet of you to wrap our scones to go.

It was also very convenient to purchase biltmore tickets at the inn in advance. We will come again if we are ever in the area.
