In 1999, Steve Cass retired from his career of twenty years at Charles Schwab. Forty-eight at the time, Steve had planned a sailing trip around the world with his wife Alice in order to give some thought as to what to do with their retirement years. After a few weeks on a boat with Steve in the Mediterranean on a stormy test sailing trip, Alice informed Steve that there was no way she was going to participate in this trip!
Join us in our Caf & Tasting Room 7 days a week for a full menu and tasting experience table-side. On our weekends, enjoy the caf or opt for our additional experiences at TED'S TACO BAR & BBQ PIT (Saturday|Sunday) or our Members' Veranda (Friday|Saturday|Sunday). All wine tasting is conducted table side at our cafe' tables.

Talk about a place that goes over the top to make you feel welcome, AND has an amazing selection of wines. Our servers were fantastic, both in the private area and on the patio, knowing everything about the wines we were sampling.
Since this was our second stop of the day, we ate some lunch here and everyone throughly enjoyed their meals (especially the Crab Cakes). And one of the family members (Alice) even stopped by to thank us and talk a little.
I can not recommend this place more and excited to check out their hotel/inn next time. Made sure to pick up a bottle of sparkling rose on my way

My wife and I really enjoyed our time at Cass Winery. We shared both of their tasting menus and our experience was expertly guided by Ali. She made great recommendations and was very helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed the way she described the wine and the pairings she offered. It was a very fun and pleasant experience. We also tried the Charcuterie board and the Chicken Caprese which were both delicious. Ali also offered the Cheesecake with Peanut Butter Mousse paired with a port that was a decadent and delicious combination. Definitely recommend the visit!

We had such an amazing lunch and tasting at Cass Winery yesterday! Linda was our host and provided such an outstanding experience!! Her stories and knowledge about the wine and the winery were wonderful, her suggestions on what to order for lunch was perfect and the food was delicious! This was our first stop of the day and Linda sure set the bar high for the remainder of the day. We joined the wine club thanks to all the great details she shared and we can’t wait to return for the pickup party in October! Thank you Linda and Cass Winery for the perfect start to our weekend getaway!

First timers to Paso & we stumbled upon Cass winery ( mostly because that's my name and I had to check it out ) when we got there we unfortunately did not have a reservation but they got my boyfriend & I sat right away. Josh the server came to our table promptly and got us started on the tasting. We had ordered some lunch - the caprese sandwich which was amazing & a cheese board. Josh truly made it an incredible experience for us. He was so educating on the wines and what we could pair with them. He even gave us a pour of one of the delicious reserve wines! I had accidently spilled some red wine

We did an hour horseback ride in the am. It was beautiful and our riding guide, Brian, matched us up with the perfect horses for our riding levels. Brian gave us great information about the area and surrounding vineyards. After our ride we had lunch inside and cooled off in the AC. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the tasting we had with lunch. To boot the food was excellent and the price well worth it. 10/10 would recommend.

I came here for a wine tasting with friends, but because I don't drink alcohol I can't comment on the wine selection here. Despite that the atmosphere of this vineyard is wonderful. The tasting room was filled on a sunday afternoon and our server was excellent and very knowledgeable of the history of Cass Winery and the wine selection. They did have some food on the menu and plenty of non-alcoholic options!

The wine was fantastic. I can't recommend the 2017 Rocking Ted enough! I had the crab salad, and my companions had the blackberry salad and the chicken salad. All was delicious! Our server Scott was personable and extremely knowledgeable. It was a fun experience. Very lovely ambience and I would highly recommend!
