Pilates is a strength building exercise program focusing on core strength (abdominals and back) and addressing the mind-body connection. Existing for over 80 years, Pilates utilizes over 500 different exercises that can be performed both on a mat and specialized equipment catering to a wide range of participants from elite athletes to senior adults.
Pilates focuses on training small muscles surrounding your core, particularly the abdominals, back, hips and buttocks. Achieving core strength allows for movement with stability, improved flexibility, posture and balance. It is impossible to move the limbs efficiently and with force if they are not attached to something solid and stable - your core!

Been training with Brenda here for about 10 years and love this studio and staff. Paige and Brenda are great trainers and really know their stuff. Reformers, chairs, towers, and Cadillac as well as other equipment and activities to incorporate into your workout. Great at adapting to all levels and perfect for rehabilitation or physical therapy too.

Mark is awesome. He's really good at what he does and pushes you without making you feel like you're in pilates bootcamp. You have to buy series for the classes and I wish you had more than one make up (after that, you lose your money per class missed). Classes are small so you get the attention you need to succeed.
