Home Sweet Home Senior Care was founded on the basis of our founder Yelka's simple vision--give the best possible care in a warm and nurturing environment - and it has held true to it to this day. After serving Daly City, CA with their restaurant The Little Red House at the same address, Yelka and her family made the transition to a senior care community in 1987.
What does it mean to have a licensed nurse on premises 24 hours a day? Home Sweet Home Senior Care is able to provide a higher level of care than most neighboring assisted living facilities.
Having a skilled professional on-site at all times creates a fluid environment for residents with care needs such as diabetic, oxygen, ostomy, and catheter care for they can initiate and follow through on physician's orders in conjunction with visiting home health and hospice nurses.Our assisted living and memory care community serves the greater Daly City, CA area.

Our community serves seniors who have or develop a need for a higher level of care with assistance with activities of daily living and who may have varying levels memory impairment. With our nursing and care staff working closely with our resident's family and doctors, we create a familial environment to provide the care and support for each individual while in a home-like environment.
Our team at Home Sweet Home Senior Care offers compassionate elderly care services to the Daly City, CA area. We offer a variety of services including memory and dementia care. We have a Wellness Team led by RN or LVN who are on the premise 24 hours a day. We have meaningful activities that are a part of our daily living assistance.

I would like to give them 100 stars!! They took my father in with 3 days notice, and gave him loving, attentive care for his final month. You cannot find another skilled nursing facility that will treat your family like their own. It's everyone on their staff as well as Yelka and her fabulous daughters. It was such a relief to know that our father who had dementia and lymphoma was being cared for in a loving and positive atmosphere. I was there almost daily and witnessed the care they gave to all their patients - and across the board they love and care for them all equally. We will be

I have so much gratitude for Yelka and her daughters! They helped my husband and I take care of his mom with dementia for almost 3 years, until she passed away a year ago.They were the light at the end of the tunnel, the angels sent from God! They were kind and human! The God sent help when we needed the most!!
They are compassionate, and provide the kind of care you would want for someone you love, when you can't take care of them yourself.
The place is clean, well kept. Ilka and her daughters are hands on and run the place, managing all the aspects of the home!

LOVE Yelka and the family at Home Sweet Home!! Picking a place to care for a loved one - how do you ever feel comfortable with such a decision?! I did all my research, followed my gut, but still felt some doubt, not really knowing how to be SURE. My uncle was a particular man, having lived a full life (88 years!) as a VERY private person - he LOVED Yelka, and spoke only positive things about the care he received.....and believe me he would have told me and everyone else if he were having to settle for anything he found unsatisfactory!! We were very happy with this care home. Our elderly loved one needed around-the-clock care in his final months and he was comfortable and safe here. We toured several places in and around San Francisco before we decided on Home Sweet Home for him. The facility is not too big, not too small and is owned and operated by a wonderful family. We were looking for a place where the doors to resident's rooms can be left open because our elder was a fall risk and we needed a close eye to be kept on him. As a local musician who has entertained there I want to say that Home Sweet Home really has that "home sweet home" charm. The folks there are so friendly. The staff do an excellent job of providing immediate attention to those who need assistance. Yelka, the administrator couldn't be nicer. I could tell right away that she is sincerely devoted to her work there. And, let's not forget about cleanliness. I remarked to Yelka that have never seen such clean floors in a senior care facility. I could practically see my reflection. They were polished like a jewel, truly amazing

I chose Home Sweet Home as a place for my mother to receive hospice care when she was terminally ill.
I was in the facility constantly, and at the end of my mom's life I was there 24/7.
Home Sweet Home is a clean, well run and caring facility. The caregivers were all wonderful to my mom and family. They coordinated well with Mission Hospice.
I had received positive recommendations about HSH from former employees as well as people who advocated for Seniors.
I was very grateful to find a quality facility that I could trust for the most important care my mom would ever receive in her life
