You will receive a confirmation email and a call right away. If you email us during off hours then someone will contact you the very first business hour. You can give us a brief history of your problem or, to speed up your appointment process, you can put in all your insurance information as it appears on your card.
Our partner organization, All Sports Physical Therapy, is now offering at-home PT appointments with our highly-credentialed physical therapists. These appointments may be virtual - conducted via video or over the phone - or, if necessary, our physical therapists will visit patients' homes to provide in-person care.
As the health insurance landscape has shifted in recent years, we recognize that it can be difficult to know what medical services your insurance benefits cover. Often, healthcare providers are not transparent in communicating the costs associated with co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, and out-of-pocket expenses.
We expect that your recovery will be smooth and without complications. To make the process as seamless as possible, it's important that you follow our instructions. 2. If medically permissible, STOP taking anti-inflammatory medications and blood thinners five days prior to your surgery. 3. STOP taking all supplements, vitamins, and herbal medications five days prior to your surgery.

NY Bone & Joint were friendly and extremely helpful.
I was seen by Dr. Gupta, who immediately impressed me with his explanation of my MRI results in layman’s language I can understand.
He then outlined a treatment plan to get me pain free. Which he succeeded in doing.
The unexpected bonus is his kindness and wonderful bedside manner.
I highly recommend this stellar doctor.

The staff is very caring and professional.
I would like to specifically point out Michelle, who works the front desk. She is very prompt and always returns your calls and goes above and beyond her duties to make sure you are taken care of. Also Dr. Nickhil Gupta is one of the best doctors I have ever had, always making sure you get the best care possible and he takes time to explain exactly what he's doing and or going to do to make you feel better. I can't recommend them enough.

My daughter is a patient of Michael Y. Mizhiritsky, MD
She made and appointment for a sprain back. She was seen on November 29, 2021. A diagnosis was made, orders were approved for an MRI and Jawanda was tasked with sending orders to Lenox Hill Radiology. Orders were sent to Lenox Hill Radiology; however, they were lacking the clinicals needed to complete the insurance submission that would result in an approval or denial of services.
5 MRI appointments have been cancelled due to Jawanda's failure to fax the necessary information. My daughter has been in severe pain since November 17th. This

I have been a patient at New York Bone and Joint for 16 years and never had an issue with any of the doctors, until my recent visit with Dr. N. Gupta he was rushing through the appointment visit, he was very unprofessional when I brought an important matter to his attention about my medical treatment several times. He said, I will take care of it. Days went by and still no action was taken to address the matter, even after several emails being sent and a phone call. They just can’t seem to get scheduling right. 5 of the last 5 times I’ve had issues. Today I showed up on time for my appt and it wasn’t in their system. This time they blamed a software issue. If I hadn’t had so many other scheduling issues I might believe it but it’s like the boy who cried wolf. I had to then wait for over an hour for the dr to get there since she didn’t think she had any patients scheduled. My appt had to be rushed as then I was 20 min late to another appt after. They did cover my Uber to my next appt but they need to get their scheduling issues sorted out

After dealing with ERs and multiple docs who were not able to help me, it was a lifesaver coming to NY Bone & Joint. I can't say enough about how wonderful Dr. Gupta is. He gets right to the root of how to help so quickly, and with such understanding and care. One of the few places in NYC where you feel like you are being treated as a human rather than just another nameless face. I felt such relief every time I've been able to come to this practice.

I had a very professional, friendly and informative visit to NY Bone & Joint Specialists. Michelle at the front desk was so kind and friendly and very much put me at ease when I arrived. Doctor Gupta was fantastic in how he explained the results of my MRI and the treatment I could expect. Very clear for a layman like me. And John (I think his name was John), the x-ray technician was again excellent at putting me at ease (and in the right pose) for my x-rays. I would highly recommend NY Bone & Joint Specialists for anyone with bone and joint issues or pain.

My experience at this office was nothing short of amazing, The staff is attentive and helpful. Yoany Guzman is incredibly proficient and efficient; my concerns were immediately addressed. I was always kept well informed of my treatment plan. Appointment notifications were emailed promptly reminding me of my upcoming appointments and whenever I called and needed help with anything related to my injury, I was assisted. I would highly recommend and visit again.

I went here 2 times and didn't get to see the doctor. He was always in surgery or elsewhere. I saw his assistant or something. It was always, Well the doctor looked at your X-rays and say he thinks..... Was not satisfied with the service I received or with the (lack) of helpful plans for moving forward. Was not given any options for immediate pain moderation. In fact, my needs seemed not to be heard. Very frustrating when you're trying to manage pain.
