Services
At Pediatric Orthopedic Services, we aim to provide the highest quality of care for patients. Every single patient is given the time and focus needed to fully evaulate and treat their specific needs. You will not be seen by health care extenders, medical students or residents, but will be given as much time as needed by Dr. Price, HIMSELF.
The brachial plexus is composed of several nerves from the cervical spine that coalesce at the base of the neck like a "fuse box". They intermingle to form the nerves that innervate the entire arm and shoulder. During difficult birth deliveries, this plexus of nerves can be stretched and even ruptured, producing varying degrees of paralysis.
Brachial Plexus injuries occur during birth. The baby may become stuck when the head or the shoulder is unable to clear the mother's pelvic outlet. In trying to get the baby delivered before any serious breathing or circulation problem occurs, traction on the head or shoulder may stretch nerve roots.
Erb's Palsy is a condition resulting from injury during birth which affects the C5, C6, and sometimes C7 nerve roots. This type is the most common type and fortunately has the best prognosis. The children affected have full use of the hand and fingers, but the function of the shoulder, elbow and forearm are affected.
Dr. Price and his partners offer care for children with nueromuscular lower limb disorders. For patients with lower limb disorders, traveling to a doctor's office may not be the easiest thing. Dr. Price offers many ways to care and support young patients that include virtual visits, pre-recorded analysis by email, or live Zoom assessments and consultations.

Dr. Price performs magic! He gave excellent attention to my son's broken wrist snowboarding and made minor corrections to another Dr's cast that improved the healing to perfection. He always gave us as much time as needed, answered all our questions, and had an in-office, instant X-ray machine that emmitted 1/5 the normal radiation. He genuinely cared and my 11 year was just as comfortable. I could offer a higher recommendation.

If I could give this doctor less than 1 star I would. I rarely post on yelp, but felt I should make everyone aware of this. I went to this doctor with severe ankle pain. I thought it was a severe sprain. He x-rayed it, and said it was ok, and just a mild sprain, and sent me to a physio. He told me I could keep running on it etc, and then proceeded to charge me for an aircast. I went to the physio who noticed me limping severely and said there is no way I should be even putting pressure on it. I went to another doctor who xrayed me, and found I had actually broken my ankle and torn three ligaments
