Work 1-on-1 with any of our certified instructors. Private lessons are ideal for anyone coming in with injuries or specific areas of focus they'd like to address in their bodies. We've found that Pilates in the online format is very fun and very powerful. Mat forms the foundation of the Pilates method.

Without the springs, our bodies must build their own strength from the inside out. In doing so they become more organized, more flexible, and more functional in our day to day lives. Mat-work builds strength in the center of the body like no other form of exercise can. The Pilates Workshop is a premier Classical Pilates studio whose teachers offer the Pilates method in its most authentic, powerful, and nuanced form. Our mission is to help you create a body and mind that is the healthiest, strongest, and happiest version of yourself you've ever imagined. We welcome people of all fitness levels to our Sunset District studio.
The Classical Pilates method is a system of movement and therapeutic exercise developed over a span of 60 years by German born athlete and physical therapy pioneer, Joseph H. Pilates. Utilizing the specialized equipment he designed, the method works by toning muscles as well as balancing muscular force at the joint level.
We provide exceptional bodywork and healing therapies - including but not limited to massage, yoga, prenatal, alignment work, acupuncture, sound and energy work. By appointment only. Danielle Frese is a classically trained Five Element Acupuncturist practicing in San Francisco. She loves working with patients at a deep level to support their overall health and wellbeing and enjoys deep connection with her patients.

The 40 weeks that a woman spends carrying a child is a time of dramatic and speedy physical changes! Pilates is one of the most well designed methods to help women maintain their fitness and navigate the structural changes of pregnancy with ease (and without pain!).

In Pre and Postnatal classes at TPW you will learn about the specific changes that your own body is going through and receive individualized support with any special circumstances that you encounter.Our teachers are specially trained to teach pregnant and postnatal women safely and effectively to help them approach their labor and and the months that follow with strength and confidence.

I have been doing pilates for a while but this place tops any other studios i've visited before. All the instructors are very knowledgeable and attentive to the movements (even if you are in a group class). You sweat. You work your inner muscles. I feel stronger and leaner. An achievement that is difficult acquire from any other workouts. I was already an avid pilates enthusiast but i love it more than ever thanks to this studio. Please just try their apparatus class.

Did a couple duets classes here, first time with Pilates. Very accommodating and dedicated staff, and very well put together studio. Highly recommend for students looking for some one-on-one attention.
