During this outpatient procedure, the surgeon examines the inside of the elbow joint with a camera called an arthroscope. The surgeon identifies and corrects problems with the bones, ligaments and tendons of the elbow. This outpatient procedure relieves pain and swelling in the elbow caused by bursitis, or inflammation of the bursa.
Joint preservation techniques are used in patients with cartilage defects to preserve the joints and to restore the function. Articular cartilage is the cartilage that covers the bony surface of joints. It has a smooth surface which allows the bones of the knee joint to slide over each other with very little friction.

Dr. El-Gazzar and all of his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I saw him for a knee injury several times over the course of 3 months. He always took the time to explain X Rays and MRI in detail (which excused the sometimes long-ish waiting time in the treatment room). I will stay with his office for all orthopedic matters.

I completely tore my ACL meniscus, MCL, and my LCL in my left knee, and I have a meniscus and half torn ACL on my right knee due to sport injuries. Through all the pain and surgeries, Dr. El Gazzar made it seamless with reassuring me, giving me proper treatment, and ensuring the best patient care to me possible. I had so many issues and he made it seem so easy and comfortable for me to recover. His staff is amazing, and they have a such a safe protocol for COVID running in their office. I did a lot of research when I was considering surgery for my torn meniscus, I came across a lot of different doctors whom I visited before finalizing Dr. Elgazzar as my doctor.
There are a number of reasons for my decision and I hope if you have the same questions or concerns, this will help.
1. I was not sure about surgery, unlike other doctors I visited, Dr.Elgazzar read my report and was able to tell me that surgery was not needed as long as I'm not active but was necessary for me to get back into sports and living healthy
2. He ran a full assessment and didn't show any signs of just forcing

Had a great experience with Dr. El Gazzar and the rest of his staff. Upon first walking in, I noticed the safety precautions in place and felt extremely welcomed. I was able to speak with the Doctor within 15 minutes and he walked me through the best options for my knee. He is knowledgeable and down to earth. About 4 months ago I felt my foot begin to ache, and soon after the pain got progressively worse. With no improvement after months, I knew the best option would be to visit Dr. El-Gazzar, who was recommended to me by multiple people. Dr. El-Gazzar took the time to understand my situation and history, and my goal for recovery. He was able to diagnose plantar fasciitis and recommend the best treatment. Dr. EL Gazzar is great doctor, he took the time to try different method to solve my knee pain an didn't make surgery a first choice. This is something that I appreciated, since I don't like having surgery. Eventually, I had to have knee surgery, but he took the time to explain what he was going to do and the recovery process. The staff is just as awesome. I highly recommend this place.

Dr. El-Gazzar and his staff are great. He carefully explains procedures and even offers videos so i had a better understanding of what my surgery entailed. My surgery went well and I was able to return to work a month early. He shows a genuine concern for his patients and is thorough in his exams. His office is able to do x-rays and is located near public transportation.
