Chicken & monkey are always hungry for adventure, so no ordinary sandwich will do! Just like our owners 2 boys nicknamed "The Chicken" & "Monkey", we're always searching for fun eats and sweet treats. I love this spot. The food is delicious, the staff is always friendly, and the prices are very reasonable.
Creative menu and the care they take in selecting fresh and healthy ingredients is evident. Really a hidden gem! This is a small, cute local eatery in Culver city that is very affordable AND it supports local farms. As we were waiting for our order, one of the baristas left to go to the Farmer's Market down across the street to pick up more fresh lettuce!

I ordered avacado toast. Their menu didn't mention that it has egg. I was writing , sipping coffee and waiting for food. The toast arrived. I was too focussed in my work and didn't really look at food and started eating. I felt something was off. When I reached a second slice of bread winder the greens, I noticed egg. I don't eat egg. I've never eaten egg due to several reason. I went and requested for a change. I told them I was unaware that the toast has egg. They took my toast and simply removed the egg and gave me back the plate. Who does that! They could have simply replaced

I mean, the people aren't lying, the food here is great.
I've lived locally for just over year. My biggest regret is not coming sooner! There are a couple points I want to make:
1. The service is so great. The people are nice, attentive and really swift. Every table gets cleaned immediately. The vibe inside isn't so loud you can't work or hold a decent conversation.
2. Lots of great seating space to eat and work at the same time. Outdoor seating and an extra space on the side with benches. Lots of outlets and free wifi.
3. Chorizo burrito was surprisingly good. I thought

Had some personal issues with this place in the past, but it's all water under the bridge after having their take on the French Dip. I consider myself a French Dip aficionado and C&M's is hands-down the best I've ever had. The au jus is just exquisitely superb. Had two of C&M's and then went back to my old favorite and they didn't even compare. I'd honestly eat C&M's french dip sandwich every day if I could. It's a perfect sandwich, expertly prepared.

Where should I start...ok...you literally can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I can't even tell you a favorite because there is like 8 of them...I only have cravings that drive my decisions here. The Pork Belly Burrito is fabulous! Everything you want in a indulgent and hearty meal. The Cesar is another amazing dish if you want something less hearty...the dressing has just the right blend of ingredients and the corn bread croutons give it a lovely layer of flavors. And the breakfast burger (or really any of the burgers) or Turkey sando or French Onion Dip (!!!)...they have something

Cute little coffee shop! Great place to hang out with friends or read/get some work done/etc. There's always friendly staff members and the food is superb. I've been there a bunch of times but this is the first time I tried their veggie burrito (I heard one of the workers recommend it to the customer in front of me). I'm so glad I overheard them because it was delicious!!! I also had an iced coffee and if you are running low before you head out they will refill it for free!!!

Get the veggie burrito and you will not regret it. It's one of the few breakfast burritos I've had in my life where I don't feel like taking a nap after eating it. It's huge (enough to split between two moderately hungry adults) and it's got a nice amount of greens, pesto, egg and rice. It was enough to power us through a full day at the Getty Center.
Parking is limited (there's only six spots in the lot). They have a nice shaded patio out front where you can enjoy your brekkie on a warm day.

So glad C&M Cafe survived the pandemic! ...and still a sleeper hit for those who aren't familiar with it. It's been a while since we've been here and it's still amazing. The prices here are very reasonable ($6.50 - $10 for a breakfast sandwich, $11 - $13 for a breakfast burrito...and worth every penny!)
I got the Irish Times HOC (Hangover Cure) burrito and what a symphony of delicious flavor. First of all there is nice cut of real ham off the hoc in this burrito and bacon which adds a great mix of delicious pork flavor. The seared tomato adds a wonderful layer of deliciousness

THE BEST breakfast spot in town!!! Got one of my fave breakfasts of all time, the almighty Scramlet, and it was as delicious as ever!!! Creamy avocado, beautiful havarti, crispy taco and egg wrap, I find myself asking, how do they wrap this delightful "taco" without it breaking??? Genius, innovation and perfection, that's how!!! BF got the Irish times and it was Holy Hell tasty! Crispy potatoes, actual sliced ham (not lunch meat ham), portabello mushrooms, thick bacon, eggs, cheese, beans, wow! This is now my new fave breakfast burrito too! Staff is super nice. Plus, it feels amazing

Had a delicious decaf latte with housemate almond milk ( the milk had vanilla extract and cinnamon so it sweetened the latte the perfect t amount ). Also enjoyed the lil stacker plate with my boyfriend . The pesto was fresh and the bread was soft and crisp at the same time . Splitting it was perfect for a quaint breakfast without feeling "brunch sick "... where you just want to go home and sleep after lol ! The place is clean - service is friendly and lots of little yummy snacks inside to purchase ! Glad it's walking distance to us - return customers for sure !

This review is for the veggie burrito and little stacker breakfast sandwich!
First of all, it's a very filling burrito! You can have it for yourself if really hungry or also good to share between two people.
Wonderful flavors! A lot of portobello mushroom, scrambled egg, brown rice, kale, spinach, crunchy cabbage, pesto, farmers cheese, and avocado! Oh so good! It's around $13, and worth it!
Their Lil Stacker breakfast sandwich is good if you're vegetarian, not vegan because it has eggs.

COST:
$12.50 (Melting Pot Rice Bowl)
$4 (Iced Latte)
Ya homeboy loves his brunch fasho. C&M Cafe has been highly recommended by a few friends already, so once I was driving down to Newport Beach, I finally agreed with my friends to go here.
The location is in a tiny strip mall with like maybe less than 5 parking spots. COVID's still a thing so a portion of their tiny lot was converted into outdoor dining space.
Ordering is one of those places where you queue up and order, and then they bring your order to your table. They have a lot of kitschy local art, food and trinkets you can buy

Went here on a whim for lunch because I was craving a sandwich. I got the tuna melt no avocado and the potato salad to go.
To my surprise the sandwich was FULL of avocado. This might be great for some but I am not a fan and can taste it, like mustard you cant get away from it. It sucks because I couldn't enjoy it especially because I didnt have time to take it back. Now thinking about it I should have after finishing what I am doing.
I know I shouldn't be this bothered but there has to be closer attention to things like because if I was allergic then it could have been a real situation

A great place to pickup an interesting wrap or sandwich!
Loved the portobellos grilled cheese. Thin layers of portobello. A satisfying grilled cheese sandwich that seemed a bit healthy!
The chorizo wrap was amazing. Need to share this because it is huge. Very flavorful with the shredded meat, potatoes, avocado, cabbage. Even eating half was filling!
They also had a cute selection of snacks. Picked up some Red Vines in a different packaging (tasted the same as reg red vines but a lighter color vine!)

Okay so I want to be honest, this place is a 5 for its Nutella mocha coffee and a "wake -up call" biscuit sandwich. Absolutely something I would order again, really delicious (definitely on the sweet side, which I like).
Okay so NOW I had to give this place a 4 because the service... yikes. Tried getting wifi (ps, they had a sign up with the password) and when it didn't work, asked for help. The manager (maybe owner?) comes over and says to the employee attempting to help me "this isn't your problem. People need to deal with their own stuff. We are not an Internet cafe

One of the best breakfast, lunch, n brunch spots in town.
Always nice to be greeted with smiling faces.
The veggie burrito is my go to. The wife loves the enjoy guy-breakfast burger. The coffee is delicious. Gotta get you some of those lightly sweet pickled jalapenos located next to ordering window. It was a pleasure to meet the chef/owner. Recommended for sure!
