Honestly not a big fan of this place. My pc stopped working and I tried everything I could to get it to work (new ram, new PS, etc) . Decided to bring it in here and the first thing I get asked is if I want to trade it in. They quoted me $500 (build was 2k) towards one of their $3000 pcs. No thanks. I paid for a diagnostic to figure out which part I needed to buy and when I went in to pick it up they said it could be either the MB or graphics card which I already knew. Basically paid $50 for nothing and I don't think ill be returning.

Came here because all the reviews are great. My headphone port wasn't working sometimes (the speaker worked), they said the only way is to update to Windows 11 ( me naively didn't know I could have done this at home by myself for FREE because I already had Windows 10), they charged me $100 for it.. After that, I was like whatever, it's working now and I didn't know so it was my bad and they gotta make a living too. A week later, same thing happened, my headphones won't work when I plug them in. Brought the laptop back and they were like well now you gotta check it in (for $50) so maybe we can figure

I left my laptop charger at work and needed a replacement so I could get work ASAP. Alex at PC Laptops dug up an old dell charger that ended up being the same amperage and plug, it worked perfectly. I felt it was a odd request but they took care of me and saved me a 1.5 hour round trip drive to the office. 10/10 will go back for go back for any of my PC needs!

Real enthusiasts running the desk over at PC laptops. I botched a simple upgrade and stopped in to see if they sold parts that could help me. Ty and Harrison let me know that they just build custom PCs and laptops and don't sell parts, but graciously lent me their time, space, and tools to let me clean up my own mess. Talking shop with other hardware dudes was a treat, and I'll definitely be stopping by if I'm ever in the market for a custom machine. Thanks guys!

PC laptops is a pretty hit or miss establishment. sometimes staff are super friendly, understanding and helpful but other times they would rather argue with you than help you as a consumer. The same is true of their service. Just twice they quickly identified and fixed the problem. Every other time they either misdiagnose or half fix it. I have been to PC laptops almost 10 times in a month. How many times am I expected to return to the store to ask the same issue to be fixed before I lose my mind!

I must update my review, because Bryan at PC Laptops called me and made the whole situation right. I received my refund and they put a new case on my laptop at no charge. I would have to say, that I am now happy with the service I received from them.

Was trying to get 8 year old PC back on its feet. After several days of trying, finally got smart enough to wander into PC Laptops. Baron and Gabriel helped me diagnose and repair the old beast. Took the time to explain everything - very kind and thorough. It now runs better than it EVER did.

The computer that I had for nearly five years was running very slowly and was also having problems booting up when I would attempt to start using it. I visited the Salt Lake PC Laptops store and they helped me explore options. I quickly concluded that my previous machine wasn't going to be able to repaired where it would perform the way I wanted it to.

Baron, Sijie, and all the guys over at PC laptops did an amazing job helping our company build the perfect work stations. These guys went above and beyond with the service and its been an all around great experience going through them. If you need a PC built for your business or even at home for personal use I highly recommend going through them. The warranty service alone is unmatched.

Amazing service! I just recently decided to get into pc gaming and had decided to build my own pc. I was unable to finish my attempt at building my first pc, so I decided to bring it in for them to finish my build. They did an amazing job and they even went out of their way to help me out some more once the initial build job was done. I purchased a laptop from this company maybe 2 years ago. For the first little while I was really excited about it and the company fixing problems but the longer I've had it the more I've realized the warranty didnt seem as good as j thought. That's my fault, as I know the warranty is better for desktops than laptops but when I go in for help i usually get bombarded to upgrade or buy something else rather than fix my already way too expensive computer. I came in because my computer shut off and wouldn't boot. These guys are really nice and down to earth. I had them diagnose my PC and they claimed it was a bad motherboard. Unfortunately, this was not what was wrong with my computer. I let them know what happened and they took care of me.
This is a great store with friendly staff that truly care about their customers. I will be back if I ever have any other issues that I can't resolve myself. Thanks!

I had a problem with my laptop that the VA had ordered for me from PC Laptops. This problem happened during Finals week and I had several papers due all at the same time. I don't know what the problem was but I do know that it impacted my performance. They need to make sure something like this doesn't happen again. I'd also recommend that for full-time students they create some type of loaner program so that a person has a laptop while they are repairing the damaged one.

Of all the PC Laptops stores in state, their Salt Lake City location is the best in town. The location is very accessible to downtown and the University of Utah. The store was quite cozy despite just an average size compared to their other stores.
I like stop by here when I have issue with my electronics nearby. Beside desktop and laptops, they can also fix other electronics such as smartphones and tablets. The staffs here had can very helpful, they are very knowledgeable on the technical side. Not that I'm not familiar with tech, but it's just a hassle to do it myself these days.

The Management at PC Laptops really do go above and beyond to address issues presented on Yelp.
After my last review, I was contacted by what I think was a District Manager, then the store manager Chris. Chris really went out of his way to get ahold of me, calling multiple times until I finally felt like answering. I'm glad I did.
He heard me out, and offered the first sincere apology I got from PC Laptops for their error. I didn't expect much more than an apology, or maybe a coupon, discount or some such, but he ended up refunding me for the full amount.
