I brought my 1600 GTL with a blown engine to these guys. They rebuilt the motor. I got one ride to norcal before it blew again. Due to Covid and working out of town For Biopharmaceuticals dealing with Covid I could not go get the bike up there and get it back down for repair for awhile. The then manger and I had it worked out to get it there when I could. By the time I could it was out of the warranty and they had another manager who knew the situation. They charged me $800 to look at it And it was the same bent valves. They threatened storage fee if I did not pay for them to see what

I have come to this shop for about 5 years to purchase gear, parts and fluids. I have had all of my service done here and spent around $4,000. The experience here has changed dramatically and not for the better. I spoke to the sales manager Rudy about the differences in a s1000r vs s1000xr over the phone. I came in with my gear to do a test ride and was told by Eduardo they do not allow test rides unless you agree to purchase the bike afterwards. I explained that I am a loyal bmw rider for the last 24 years and wanted to ride each bike. Again, they said "no" unless you are going to purchase

At first, I was worried since I had never seen a BMW Motorrad dealer with such low ratings, but clearly, it doesn't apply to sales!
I worked with Eduardo on trading in my bike for one they had in inventory; Eduardo is such a chill and cool dude. Per usual BMW Motorrad fashion, all fees are upfront and transparent. No hidden fees, no bs.
I had everything figured out over the phone with Eduardo and when I got there, I just did a test ride, signed papers that were already prepared, and went home with my new bike! It took barely any time at all.
Obviously, I can't speak towards service

I took my MC in to have the front brake bleed because I was not successful in my attempt. The service manager said they were not able to do it either and they would do some tests to diagnose the problem. It turned out to be the master cylinder that kept letting air into the system. They spent an hour working on it and yet still only charged me the 1/2 hour they quoted on the phone. He also said that I should look on line for a used one because theirs was rediculously expensive.

I brought my 2017 F800 GS in for a big service (24k mi). Eduardo greeted me warmly, quickly acquired my information and gave me a loaner bike to use during the 5+hr service. I strolled over to the showroom where staff were kind, available for any and all questions, and not pushing the sale. They knew that I had my bike in for the service visit. They answered vavrious questions I had about the new 1250 GSA and even ran the numbers for me to do a couple different types of financing.
Everyone wore masks and hand sanitizer was readily available in multiple locations.

Fast same day service. The staff gets you in and out and explained all the service and repairs that were needed. Nice lounge area if you are going to wait for your bike service to be completed. Only downside is there is not much within walking distance to do while you wait, it's mostly an industrial area.

Went in to get a quote for service on my Harley. A girl was smoking in the back that worked there. She said she was a mechanic there, but didn't know much about Harleys. The "master tech" came outside to ask what I was doing there. He smelled like he'd been drinking alcohol for a month straight. Went to the sales side, and the owner came out smelling like my drunk uncle! WOW AND they work on CHP bikes! Looks like I'll just take my bike to my drunk uncle to work on for free. Jeeez.

I made the mistake of visiting this BMW dealer in Escondido yesterday during my search for a new a full-face helmet. They are one of the only dealers of Schuberth helmets in the county so I figured it was worth the drive up.
I entered the dealer and it was empty. I was greeted by a a few tables with signs asking me to use hand sanitizer and to not enter the showroom if there were 2 or more people already there. I obliged, and walked through the showroom as the only customer in the building. I spent 5 minutes trying on helmets while chatting with the parts guy. I didn't find what I was looking

Honestly never EVER BUY ANYTHING HERE, long story short ALFREDO ALONSO forced me to use this haul company because supposedly "I could not go myself and pick up the bike without paying California taxes even when I live and register it in Texas " then asked me to pay in front FULL amount including haul fee before sending the bike (obviously) but he never mentioned that it would take from July 24, to August 18 to be delivered (supposedly), well now today is August 21th still no bike, after calling the haul company and being told that I'm not their customer but BMW at Escondido, called

I've been going to the service department for about 6 years. There are new staff and management and there seems to be "Unethical Practices" in the Service Department. Charge for storage fees, price mark-ups on parts and reporting or breaking parts on motorcycles.
They are price gouging during COVID-19.
Eduardo - Front Service Desk: Appears to be a nice guy, but will say things to benefit the business, not the customer.
CJ - Manager: Has no authority and do not wish to assist customers.

Second bike purchased from this dealership! The whole process each time was smooth. Partner purchased a 2020 1250RS in February and had such a good experience we called Rudy the manager again when I was looking for a new R1250R. He gave me an OTD price over the phone and set up the financing via their application their website. 0% for 5 years thru BMW is hard to pass up. We trailered the bike back to the Bay Area. It's so worth the drive to deal with a friendly and direct no BS dealership. He also gave discounts on accessories as well and free tee shirts & cap. This will be our go to dealership

As pointed out by an earlier reviewer, the service writer never let me know that the diagnostic computer was broken until I asked why the service light on my bike wasn't reset. I was told that the diagnostic service was "completed" except for resetting the indicator. Pure bunk.
I brought bike the very same day to another dealer which checked and reset error codes at no cost as a matter of good will.
During a prior annual service this dealer overfilled the crankcase with oil necessitating a return visit.
Top dollar. Sloppy service.

My left rear view mirror was more prone to wiggling around and vibration immediately after Escondido BMW's service department was done with it and today I learned why: when reinstalling the mirror, they knocked loose a nut up inside the front subframe assembly and simply installed the mirror with only one of the two bolts.
It would have been a simple, 20-second effort for the technician to reinstall this bolt and do it correctly, but he took a shortcut and now I must order the replacement part (from the excellent parts department at BMW-San Diego) and install it myself.

My wife and I plus another couple stopped by for the 2020 s1000rr unveiling. We arrived early and we took a look around the shop. While looking we checked out some Schuberth C3 Pro helmets and one of the salesmen was extremely helpful and friendly to me and my wife.
In addition, the people at the cookout out front were extremely friendly and introduced themselves and started friendly chats with me.
Definitely recommend this dealership at the very least for great customer service.
