Our story began in 1973 when 35 Johns Manville employees gathered their funds together and started our credit union as a member-owned financial cooperative. We grew rapidly over the years, serving only employees, retirees, and family members of Johns Manville. In 1998, we expanded our membership to include other employer groups and local communities, enabling us to continue our growth and help more people with their finances.
In 2005, we changed our name from Johns Manville Credit Union to Colorado Credit Union, to better reflect our growing membership. In 2009, we expanded into the Brighton community as Brighton Federal Credit Union was merged into CCU. A few years later in 2014, Englewood Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union was merged into CCU, which allowed us to better serve the Englewood community.

The most rude unhelpful nasty place to do your banking. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Seems like rules are just from one transaction to another. Most of the time they seem completely clueless. Jump through hoops for a loan and they change the rates last minute after you have done all the work. Piss poor nasty servicewomen and time again.

These people have no idea how to do their jobs. My husband called to see how to go about adding him to my account. They said the owner of the account, me, would have to just call in and we can take care of that.
Well I called, they lied, we need to fill out a form, sign it and submit copies of our ID's. We filled out the form, made copies of our ID's and emailed it to Anahi R. like I was instructed.
Once again, they don't know how to do their jobs. He also lied. The form must be signed in front of a notary and then notarized. Fail on so many levels, it's just instructions
