April Bunker has been working with River Town Family Eye Care for 14 years. She has been a certified Optician since 1998 and a certified Paraoptometic since 2001. She is a long time member of the American Optometric Association for Paraoptometrics, and a member of the Maine Paraoptometric Association.

This is an excellent clinic recommended to me by a friend. Dr. Lord performs great diagnosis, educates client with options, spends quality time (no rush). April is knowledgeable in recommending glasses. She is welcoming as well. If this clinic accepts you, consider yourself lucky. Five Star rating all the way.

Dr Lord and April in the Hampden office are super. We live in central Waldo county but are happy to drive the hour to them for the excellent eye care and services. Super medical care and explanations of eye issues. And, April really knows how to assist in selecting and fitting the right glasses as well as how to navigate insurance copayment, deductibles, and benefits

Have been a patient of Dr. Lord for nearly 30 years. He always conducts a thorough examination. Both he and his assistant, April, are very personable and professional. April is knowledgeable about insurances, and she is always spot on in picking out frames that look great. Easy to speak with. Always prompt. Very clean office. Easy to locate. Highly recommend.

Dr. Lord is personable and always very thorough in my exams. He never seems to be in a hurry. If he thinks there could be an issue, he checks it twice and explains well what he's looking for and why. He answers any questions I may have and tells me of any issues I should be watching for. And April, at the front desk, is also very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this practice.
