In the eye, the natural lens focuses light rays on the retina to produce an image. At birth, the lens is clear. With time, the lens starts to get cloudy and obstruct light. This cloudy lens is known as a cataract and can diminish vision. Cataracts are diagnosed during a complete eye exam by your physician at Physicians Eye Care Center.
Screening or routine eye health examinations serve to diagnose previously undetected vision disorders that can potentially threaten one's vision. As part of a routine eye health exam, our doctors examine your eyes to assess your vision, determine the need for glasses as well the general health of your eye.
Laser Vision Correction (LVC) is one of the most exciting technological advances in the history of eye care. It is performed with an excimer laser, which produces a "cool" ultraviolet laser light that gently reshapes the cornea. Both LASIK and PRK utilize an excimer laser to perform Laser Vision Correction.

I called to get a copy of my rx from several years ago, yet they refused, saying I had to come in for a new eye exam, to which I complied. I filled out the 4 pages of forms, and told them I had united health care, and they said that it should cover the visit. Using the new rx, I purchased a new pair of glasses, and when they arrived, I couldn't see out of the right eye well at all, and felt like I was underwater. After a hassle trying to return the new glasses, I got a bill for 200$ saying my insurance won't cover the visit. Finally, I called asking for my original request, my old rx from several

Very friendly and professional. They diagnosed my eyes and when I finally got insurance and a new set of glasses they were a perfect match for my vision diagnosis. Couldn’t afford their glasses even with insurance but prescription with no line bifocals were great when I got them from on line in a virtual try on site. For the glasses.

For a simple eye exam it’s a great place. Doctor visit was good and was nice so were the technicians, the front staff could use some customer service training and maybe some friendly pointers on being welcoming. But do not buy your glasses here, they were extremely reluctant to show me frames that my insurance would cover, was told “ oh you won’t like any of them anyway, they are put way in cases in boxes” THEN they tried to sell me $480 pair of eyeglasses that I would have to pay for. I saw it a way to completely take your money, no help with budget concerns. I left with my prescription
