Sea Side Villas

Great place to stay just don't bother to pay to rent chairs on the beach. We paid $240 to rent chairs for the week and ended up having to change chairs because the chair guy rented ours after we had paid for the week. They also allow people to set up umbrellas and canopies in front of the seats that you pay $30 a day to rent.

We spent a week in a "courtyard" 2 bedroom unit. It was in need of quite a bit of maintenance. most of the bulbs were blown in our bathroom and bedroom, the kitchen faucet was loose and moved around, and the second bathroom faucet had a broken handle. Our beds were uncomfortable(may be subjective). I could see possibly staying again but not for how much we paid

It’s rare that I ever leave a one star review for a place but this one is horrible as far as customer service.
I’m currently standing outside my rental vacation door and cannot get in because 1. No one ever sent a confirmation email for our stay. So we called today and received the codes. 2. The gate code worked however when we got to our room, the room code didn’t work. There’s supposed to be check in information left at the office mail drop but they didn’t leave any for us. 3. We called the rental number to get a new code or find out how we can get into our rental and they have left

Three bedroom condo. Nice view but balcony had no screen lots of bugs. Balcony had really moldy run down table and chairs. Condo had mold on everything stale and high humidity throughout unit. We kept all doors shut air just couldn’t keep up to cool. High humidity is due to no ventilation system washer and dryer vented within a tray of water on floor. Roaches seemed to crawl in at master bedroom. Mice droppings found in the kids bathroom on top of sink. Reported issues to office and someone entered leaving three traps around while away. The condo is totally beautiful. Walk to the pool and beach. In view of the back patio. I would recommend this unit. Will definitely go back.

My family has stayed here since I was in elementary school. We went every summer through our HS years but not as much afterwards. My brother has his own family and I moved far away when I was in my late 20s. But we have managed to get together at Seaside a few times since then and my husband and I have gone with my parents a couple of times. I have gone with mom several times. It truly felt like home away from home every time I went and has provided me with the fondest memories I have of my childhood and beyond. All the units we have stayed in were clean and comfortable. I love this place ! Me and my family go almost every year and we will not stay anywhere eles, it's quiet without all the riff raff. Great place for the family. The rooms are nice and they keep the grounds well maintained. The pool is wonderful and the beach entrance is beautiful as well. They have a grassy area for throwing a football and things alike as well as shuffle boards.

The first few days was wonderful. Everyone was very nice. But, the last day we were there, my service dog did his business on the grounds. I stood beside his waste while my daughter ran to get a bag so I could pick it up. While I was standing there, a board member started yelling and cursing at me. I told her he was a service dog, and fully intended on cleaning up after him. I do understand the importance of doing so and completely respect the grounds and other guests. She screamed, "I don't give a damn! NO DOGS ALLOWED! I want it cleaned up NOW!". I picked it up with my bare hands just to stop

My family and I came down here for a nice vacation. I did a lot of calling around the find the perfect place. When I first called the lady was very nice and told me they were family oriented and accepted service dogs with proper registration (which we had). We got there and the condo was clean and nice had a beautiful view of the beach. While we were coming back from the beach on our last day we had a board member scream and cuss at us for the dog. While we are used to people not being that happy about it I have NEVER experienced such hateful profanity even after we calmly explained he was a service

Family comes here at least once a year and stay in the same unit. Much older and dated than the skyrise hotels but this is what coming to the beach means to us. Walk right out of the screened in porch to the pool or beach. Staff is always so friendly.
