Lovely place with amazing treats - both GF and Vegan 🤯 They went out of their way to make sure we had just the right pie for our early Thanksgiving celebration. Thank you so very much - everyone just loved ❤️❤️the apple crumble pie we got!

I have celiac and recently moved to Milwaukee, and I was so excited to find this bakery was so close to me! It is really reassuring to know these are baked in a GF kitchen and there isn’t risk of cross-contamination. I tried the cashew swirl and a strawberry chocolate donut, and both were outstanding. They were both much more moist than most GF baked goods, and it’s incredible to think they’re vegan too! I’d go here even if I didn’t have dietary restrictions. I’m excited to try everything else in the pastry case!

Absolutely love this place! It was been such a blessing to have a bakery that genuinely cares and strives to have delicious satisfying treats that also use health conscious ingredients! The prices can be a bit steep which is the only drawback here. I personally don't mind if products use processed sugar as long as it's vegan, but I'm sure it's important to some!

That being said everything we got was really nice! The apple pie bar was transcedant and so was the turtle brownie, both of which I'm craving. I also got a cinnamon bun that was ok but I think I'm learning I'm more of a "it has to be warm and absolutely covered in icing" cinnamon bun person.

So do I love pretty much everything at Blooming Lotus? Yes. But do I also hate pretty much everything there? Also YES. Why? Because I. Can't. Stop. Thinking. About. It!!

I was so prepared to be disappointed the first time I came here. Like I walked in, saw the "no gluten no dairy no eggs no soy no nothing" signs, and thought "cool, so this is going to taste like cardboard, ok".

But then, not only did everything NOT taste like cardboard- it also tasted like....Dreams? Or rainbows? Or maybe just a beautiful world filled with vegan buttercream and pastry?

This place right here! UGH THIS PLACE BLOOMING LOTUS BAKERY IS 100% THE MOVE!!! I can't get enough of their baked goods and they are definitely what I call BLOOMING!

I rolled up on a Sunday for some post church baked goodies and I was not disappointed! As soon as I walked in I knew I was going to love this place! When I opened the doors I was instantly greeted by they very friendly staff. They were all following Covid protocols and were very helpful to me as a newbie to this bakery.

FANTASTIC gluten free and vegan bakery! I have never come across a bakery that primarily uses almond flour and unrefined sugar to sweeten their products. I felt good about letting my toddler get something to eat there! There were so many options!! We tried the cinnamon rolls, german chocolate cupcakes, bread, pizza crust, snack mix, scones and date truffles. Everything was sweetened to perfection, not to sweet, which was such a pleasant surprise! The pancake mix is also amazing! The staff was so helpful and explained everything to us. I'm so glad to have found this place!

Thank you to the Blooming Lotus Bakery staff for getting me through the year. I felt safe picking up from the bakery and I'll have amazing desserts like the Donuts, Chocolate Chip Muffins, and the Hazelnut Kiss cookies to enjoy this Holiday season. The staff is patient and answers all my questions without hesitation. I appreciate the customer service and the healthy delicious treats that are baked fresh.

This bakery is lovely!!! I stopped by this weekend on a visit from out of town. They were doing pickups only, so I gave them a call and the sweet gal who answered walked me through all their breakfast options. We tried: cashew roll (BOMBBBB), blueberry scone, chocolate cherry Whoopie pie, peach cobbler donut, vanilla spice donut. The cashew roll was the winner, by far. But everything was delicious and well made. Honestly, my only regret is not stopping by again the next day before we left.

I don't have any gluten or dairy intolerance, but the pastries here are AMAZING!!! My go to bakery for sweet treats on a weekend morning. Also, the people who work there are always super helpful & nice!

YUM! You may be hesitant when you see grain and dairy free but don't be. Blooming Lotus knows how to do it right! Whether you have allergies you are just looking for a way to be healthier, this is the bakery for you. If you like thin crust pizza, theirs is great. Yes, this one does taste slightly healthier but to not have an insanely greasy slice is appreciated by me. It's pre baked so you can throw on your favorite ingredients and be eating in no time. Also, you can pop it in the freezer if you aren't able to use it within the week. Tastes just as good defrosted.

This is one of my new favorite bakeries. I don't know how long it's actually been in existence but it's new to me. I finally gave it a whirl after driving by enough times and I don't regret it! I've had the chai donut and the lemon poppyseed muffin. VERY GOOD! The biscotti and nutolla are also tasty. The staff is always friendly and super helpful. For the ingredients to be as expensive as they are the prices are pretty modest. Next time you're in the area go ahead and pay them a visit. Healthy AND delicious?? Yes please and thank you.

Very nice staff, amazing to feel good about eating bakery! I wish they put a little more flavor in their items (ex. more lemon zest, blueberries, cinnamon, etc.), but I’m sure many people love the items as they are. Everything has a good level of sweetness, not too much like most baked goods! It’s quite a feat that the items are as good as they are for having such unconventional base ingredients!

Got some super yummy donuts, German chocolate cake and lemon poppy seed. This bakery makes very hearty gluten free versions of baked goods. Vegan friendly and always a variety of pastries. One of my favorite places to visit on a Sunday morning

They have the best cinnamon roll that I have tried so far. I read all the reviews online before going so I kind of knew what I would get. But when I actually stood in front of the display case, I still felt so tough to make a choice! They didn't have the apricots and fig scone which seems to be very popular among customers who have been there and reviewed, nor anything related to pumpkin today. So I felt relieved that two candidates were already automatically eliminated lol. The lady behind the case is very friendly and patient.

Gluten and dairy free as well, though not tree nut free. I found this place while looking for peanut-free options for my daughter. Finally made my way over and it was so worth it!

Though scouting for my daughter, I also brought these treats to work as one of my coworkers is gluten-free. Everything was delicious! I think my faves were the cherry danish (so flavorful, good texture, perfectly sweet) and the hippie scones.

Will return, for sure, though I wish they had one in Brookfield! Should have gotten one of these at the Corners rather than Goddess and the Baker!

My boyfriend and I went here for an after-lunch snack. He chose a massive cherry danish, and I went with the cashew bar after the lady told me it was the most popular item they sold. Then, while we were paying for our snacks we told her we'd like them to go, and she chuckled and said they would even leave the building.
She was absolutely right. We sat down for a little bite before we walked home, and they were divine. They were neither too sweet, nor too "healthy" tasting. I eat tons of gluten and grains and meat and all that, but this was still just a very nice bakery! And my boyfriend

I stopped in hoping they had some pre-made birthday cakes. Well they do not, you need to call in 48 hours ahead because magic doesn't happen overnight, nor does it just sit around and wait on a shelf. So anyway I was about to settle for an array of cupcakes when they whipped out their new prototype cookie cake dressed for a birthday party. Needless to say I bought the lot and a cup of joe and I have never been happier! Amazing work!

A gluten free bakery?! Ugh, this makes me so happy! I just wish I would have tried this place when I lived in Milwaukee.

If GF if your thing and you have a craving for some baked goods... look no further! They have a nice variety - donuts, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, cakes, breaks, pizza crusts, etc.

Not only do their bakery items look good. They taste good as well! If I am ever in the area with a sweet tooth, I'll definitely pick something up.

Blooming Lotus is a little hidden gem on the East Side. This is a great bakery spot for anyone with dietary restrictions, watching what they are consuming or just looking for a tasty treat!

All of their pastries are dairy, gluten, soy, grain and egg free! They only use natural sugars as well, such as fruits to sweeten their pastries.

I've been dying to come here for a few weeks now and finally made it today! I recently completed the Whole30 and was looking for a place where I could get something sweet but not filled with processed sugar or loaded with gluten and dairy. Not always an easy thing to do! Blooming Lotus did not disappoint! I got an apricot fig scone (warmed up) and it was fantastic!! Perfect amount of sweetness, soft and moist. Wow wow wow!

I appreciate having this kind of bakery so close to home and will definitely be back for a cupcake (and a cookie, and a cinnamon roll, and a truffle...). Great little

Free of everything

Now here's the deal... I made my way to the East Side to check out the new donut shop but they were closed. I walked past this bakery with amazing looking stuff in the case and didn't pay too much attention to the signage - sugar free, gluten free, dairy free, etc. I grabbed a few cupcakes for the family and they did not go over so well. Not sure what the frosting was actually made out of, but I was not a fan either. The cake itself was decent for no sugar, no gluten, no nothing.
