The cakes are delicious but they charge you $15 a piece at the bakery. The owner will outright tell you that you can buy them for half the price at the grocery store. Don't buy your cake at their bakery!

The cookies are fantastic, the employees I worked with were ignorant. I showed up at Mama Bev's to pick up cookies for an event. They had a sign that said the storefront is closed but they accept online orders for curbside and to call their number when you are there for pick up. I went online to order $60 worth of cookies. I called the number after placing the order and it went straight to voicemail. I tried multiple times and it continuously went to voicemail. I then went to the glass door and knocked. I could see the employees inside. The female employee just laughed and then moved out of view

It's not an actual bakery, so a WEE bit misleading. I was expecting an actual bakery. There are baked goods and they ARE good!! Think of it as different baked bars.

I will not stop in until the place gets a real sign. With the banner sign it looks like a temporary business or like they are just waiting to see if the business will actually work. What's it been? Two years and still no real sign?

I went in because what doesn't sound good about Ooey gooey butter cake??? I haven't tried the St. Louis version but yummmmm! I can't wait to go back and try more flavors!

I have been driving past this place for months now and I even shopped at Festival Foods and I still have no idea of what a St Louis butter cake is so today I stopped to check them out, hell I have been to St Louis probably 15+ times and stopped at restaurants and I don't remember such a curiosity.

First off the fantastic woman working the counter did an outstanding job at being the face of the business because she was passionate about the product and explained exactly what it is and what her personal favorite is, butter milk pancake n syrup.

I read the reviews about this bakery's products and they were good. I ordered the red velvet cake. Got it on yesterday (1-23-21) and opened the package and the cake looked totally different from the cake I looked at when I ordered it. The cake I looked at was a bright red. The cake I received was a dark red and the cake was horrible.

I was so disappointed because I had been waiting for this cake and expecting to have a really wonderful and delicious experience. I'm not sure about other reviews, but, this one is real.

Stopped by today and I am so glad that I did! They have an assortment of cakes and flavors. They even allow you to try samples, all individually wrapped and equally delicious. The staff on site were very friendly and incredibly helpful. I appreciated their help and how nice they were. I ended up doing the 3/$10 deal and was super pleased! They pair really well with coffee too! I’ll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who comes by the shop! You won’t be disappointed!

The cake is amazing. It's part cheesecake and part regular cake. Every flavor I've tried is amazing. However, my favorite is the salted caramel. The owner and employees all have huge hearts for community outreach. They participate in some great causes in the community all at their own expensive. These are some of the most selfless and kind people I have ever met. Please support this business if you can, you literally can't go wrong. I'm so glad I found this place and will continue to go back every chance I have. I feel like their cake would be a huge hit at a wedding

I ordered 6, there was a special 3 for $10 instead of $4 each. They come in a variety of sizes but I only needed the personal squares. I ordered 2 of the classic, 1 peanut butter, 1 cookie crust, 1 blueberry lemon, and 1 raspberry.
I enjoyed all of the flavors except for the blueberry... it was mushy and I didn't love the flavor. I gave Mama Bevs 5 stars because it is great. The employee was super helpful.

Order any of the flavors for an awesome treat! I ordered the Classic St. Louis Butter Cake and family and friends thoroughly enjoyed it with coffee or tea. It was a great addition to either breakfast or dessert.

This bakery is great. Stopped by and got 3 different cakes and all were amazing, although my favorite is a 3 way tie between them. They are all so yummy!

Absolutely amazing! We ordered 5 different flavor cakes through Door Dash and each one was out of this world. They tasted like one of those classic desserts a relative brings to Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. The "Classic" and the "Caramel Apple" are the best.

I have officially sold my soul to mama bev and I'm completely okay with it. These cakes are INCREDIBLE. They are very rich, so I snack on the individual pieces you can buy but oh my goodness they are so yummy! Also the people here are super polite and sweet.

No frills inside right now but the gooey butter cakes are delicious. They taste very much like those in St. Louis. I appreciate limited packaging, but the cake slices are only wrapped in plastic wrap, which doesn't protect them much. I bought several flavors & they were all thrown together in a plastic bag. By the time I took them out, some were not in good shape. They still tasted good, but I suggest at least adding some type of rigid material.

We were greeted by a very friendly girl who explained the history of the bakery. She also offered samples.
We ordered the classic butter cake. My husband and I found it to be overly sweet. This is a taste preference Im sure, probably others who will love the cake. Maybe we will try other flavors in the future.

I am a frontline healthcare worker during this pandemic, and Mama Bev's is giving my co-workers and I new life. Not only has this place been extremely generous and donating food, but also, it tends to be the place that we look forward to the most! When ripples of "the good cake is here," you know you need to find time to grab some food in the break room.

Mama Bev's, thank you for introducing me to St. Louis Butter Cake! It has quickly risen to a high position on my list of guilty pleasures. I've shared your butter cake with my family, and they all love it, as well.

The plain butter cake is amazing on its own, but the samples I tried of your butter cake variations are just as delicious, of not more.

You started out sharing space with 9th Slice, and sadly they closed, but you remain with another food partner, selling BBQ.
