If Dr Kennedy can't fix you then I'm sorry to tell you right now that no other doctor can, the man is simply top. After a severe accident a doctor recommended amputation of my foot as there was nothing they could do, instead they took me to see Dr Kennedy who looked me in the eyes and promised me that he was gonna fix me and I will walk run and even play sport again, I was 17 years back then and had my entire ankle reconstructed, I'm 34 years now and despite all the metal plates and screws that were used to rebuild my ankle I have never felt any sort of discomfort in my ankle as it functions 100

Dr. Kennedy helped me get back to my feet and my life back. Had a botched ankle surgery from a podiatrist, ended up needing an oats procedure. Did a ton of research, saw multiple surgeons and found that Dr. Kennedy is the most experienced surgeon for oats. The recovery was much quicker than expected and I can finally walk without pain again. The office is world class, everyone helped me every step of the way and made the entire process much easier for me. I’m very grateful.

My surgery for Achilles heel repair was successful beyond my expectations. I was walking around in about 2 weeks without a boot and in about 4 -5 weeks I was walking just fine as long as I wasn’t running or doing anything crazy. Now I am 100%, thank God, and I am very happy with the results. The alternative procedure involved cutting off the tendon and then re-attaching. I was told it would’ve required a 6-month rehab period. The insurance companies cover that procedure because they know that few people can afford to be involved in a 6-month rehab and will instead just hobble along. Insurance

Dr. Kennedy is a phenomenal doctor. I love going to the gym! But two months ago, during a high intensity training interval, I landed on my ankle the wrong way. I could hardly walk. I went to Dr. Kennedy and he used shock wave therapy on my ankle. Since then, I am regaining strength in my ankle quickly. I am so happy. He is really a great doctor and is very in tune with cutting edge technology. I would definitely recommend him if you need surgery for an ankle or foot injury.

Before I saw Dr. John Kennedy I had suffered years of ankle pain after 2 surgeries on my OCD lesions that were unsuccessful. As a dancer, choreographer and a very athletic person, this was a challenging time for me. I could not do my work as a choreographer and I could hardly walk 5 blocks in NYC without stabbing pain at every step. I was miserable and beginning to think this was how I would have to live out my new normal. At my lowest I didn’t even care if I could never fully dance again, I just wanted to be able to walk without pain, to be able to hike and enjoy the small things in life.

My 91-year-old mother, with severe degenerative joint disease of the knee, was at the end of options. My brother suggested Dr. Kennedy. His friendly, calm demeanor instantly put my mother at ease. Dr. Kennedy suggested PRP injections. She has had two treatments and she is now able to resume her daily activities. Even though, it is still early, I feel confident this was the right course of treatment. I am very happy with the level of care my mother received from Dr. Kennedy. His staff is helpful, friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend him.

I am an avid athlete, skier and tennis player. I came to Dr Kennedy barely walking due to extreme pain in my right ankle. I had ligament reconstruction surgery March 2016. I was back on the court three months later and enjoyed doing all sports throughout the summer. It is now 13 months later and I feel perfect. I play tennis a minimum of three times a week without any pain and have begun to ski again. thank you for giving my life back.

Dr. John Kennedy and his staff are a caring, professional team with Dr. John an expert in his field using progressive techniques.  They were welcoming, concerned for our time and comfort.  My mother could not have been in better hands and is feeling better and back to activities that we thought would never happen again.  I would highly recommend Dr. Kennedy to anyone.

I have had multiple surgeries at HSS and other institutions, and I think HSS is the best hospital for orthopedic surgery in the country. However, Dr. John Kennedy and his office are an embarrassment to that establishment. Dr. Kennedy operated on my wife's ankle, and he promised my wife she would be running again in two weeks. Now at over 6 months post-op, she has been advised by her physical therapist that she may never run normally again. Her ankle range of motion (ROM) has not returned to normal, and her physical therapist says it may never return. This is devastating for someone who is an athlete
