Services
Four times throughout your Membership Year, you get 4 bottles of your choice (Copper, Silver, & Gold Club levels dictate the bottles available to you in the quarterly orders, see chart below). We will email you a month before each fulfillment date to get your customized order. If you find yourself looking at a bottle that is included in a higher club level for your quarterly order, it would be available to you for an additional (discounted) cost.
The foundation of the Oakes Family legacy began in 1919 when Leonard Oakes bought land in the northwest corner of Orleans County. With this purchase, he forged the family's beginnings in agriculture, an endeavor that continues to this day. In 2003, the family business branched out. We planted our first wine grapes and began producing wines under a label that reflected our history.

Very enjoyable wine tasting experience.. Depending on the day and time, it's recommended to make reservations. The $10 deposit (per person) needed to reserve your table, will be applied to your final bill. When it comes to the tastings, there is a wide range of varieties to choose from. You have Ciders (Steampunk), dry wines, and sweet wines. They even offer liquors from other manufacturers. I suggest ordering the snack tray for $10 to pair with your choices. The snack tray had a very good tasting roasted pepper dip. I ordered a tub of that to go. Well worth the visit and looking forward to coming

Wish I took photos but I was too distracted thinking why they call this wine. The color, consistency, and taste were completely off…. The charcuterie board aka their “large snack plate” was questionable.. lunchables would’ve been more appropriate especially with their price. Decided to try the local beer on tap, and that was alright. The Ice wine was amazing though.

GREAT winery on the Niagara wine trail! Service is excellent, has a 'made in NY corner' and housemade items to pair with tasting make this a MUST stop place on your list of winery's to visit! Many items to bring home with your favorite bottle of wine or cider, like apples, cheeses, jams, cookies and chocolates. Even carry bags of my beloved Steamworks Coffee from Lockport! Love, love, love the Escape Rose and the Reisling! Don't forget to try a wine slushy! YUM.

Despite COVID we safely managed an enjoyable wine tasting outing at LynOaken. Lovely sunny weather this past Saturday 3/20/21. Nice drive to Medina along the Niagara Wine Trail. Server was sweet and gave us tips on choosing wines we would prefer. Ordered a flight of 3 for $6 each plus some tasty snacks for $10 plate. Always enjoyed this winery. Still the tops!!

Such lovely spot! came here to celebrate my pup's birthday and we were blown away by the staff, atmosphere, grounds and the tasting (fell in absolute love with their Rose) The staff is friendly and… knowledgeable and even gave us a history of the winery! the wines and cider are absolutely delicious 😋 and so reasonably priced. Stop by and visit and you won't be disappointed!

Super cute and well run orchard and winery. We wanted to get out, enjoy the weather and pick some apples this year. I looked up some reviews and LynOaken (apples) was highly recommended and offered a lot of varieties. A huge bonus was that there was a winery next door (Leonard Oakes). You will want to make advance reservations for apples or wine tasting during the pandemic.
The winery, Leonard Oakes Estates, next door also had outdoor seating. I think there was indoor as well if you wanted. $10 got you 3 generous tastings and an ample choice of charcuterie, nuts, etc. There were a lot of tasty

I haven't been here in quite a while. We stopped here after apple picking at their farm called LynOaken next door.
We stopped in on a Sunday during the Bills game. There was a little corner set up with couches and chairs and a television, which we were told was the first time they had a television in the tasting room. There was cheering and it was a lively atmosphere.
We tasted some wine. It is $4 for four wine tastings. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable. I liked all of their drier wines they offered including the Cab Franc and the Special Reserve Riesling, which I added to

This is our second year coming here. Such a great welcoming and family friendly place. Lots of space for the kids to run around, wagon rides, cider donuts, a reading corner, corn hole, picture taking places and, of course, apples. The bakery has cookies, candy and pie and the winery has plenty for the grown ups to enjoy. If you're looking to pick apples and enjoy the peace that comes from getting out of the city, this is the place. The staff are all welcoming and helpful.

Full Disclosure: I was here for a performance by Lake Plains Players (a local acting group) which my wife was part of.
The main room of the winery was warm, inviting, and well lit. The employees were incredibly pleasant and knowledgeable about the products they produced. When I visit a place like this, I like to try something I normally would not have. I tried their wine called Fuji Apple, and it was delicious. I'm not particularly fond of most sweet wines but this really hit the spot. It was clean, sweet, and true to its name, tasted like a fuji apple. I would definitely consider

Nice variety at this winery - Ciders, Ice Wines and Beer are available. The service was fantastic and the prices were reasonable for the tastings.
The highlight was the Ice Wine flights that came with chocolate truffles. For $10 this was more than worth it as all three wines were high quality and the chocolate was delicious.

I really like Leonard Oakes. A lot of people will love it. There's a farmer's market with a wide variety of products such as seasonings, BBQ sauce, jams, jellies and home decor. They have u-pick apples in the fall. The wines and ciders are tasty and affordably priced, but not for lack of quality.
I started the the hard ciders. I've been unimpressed by hard ciders in the past, but theirs are great. Both Steam Punk Cider and the new Steam Punk Eloquence have a fizzy champagne like quality, but they also have a depth of flavor I didn't expect from hard cider. I still prefer wine

Great people and awesome wines and cider. Even if you came for the wines, definitely try the Steampunk Cider. So good! Some of our favorite wines were the Blanc D'Orleans, Chambourcin, and the Ice Wine.
The people staffing the tasting room were great! So friendly and accommodating. If we lived close by, I would be here in a regular basis.

Disclaimer: I visited Leonard Oakes Estate Winery while 6.5 months pregnant, so I didn't actually taste any of the wine...this review is about the experience, not necessarily the product.
We stopped by the winery after visiting LynOaken Farms, which is owned by the same family. Since the farm wasn't technically open, they weren't selling the fresh-pressed cider that we'd heard so much about. But there we were informed that they sell it and all their produce also at the winery and store on the Ridge Road.
There's a farm store with local produce, knickknacks, local cheeses
