I'm Engrid and I gain so much joy from fostering relationships with my clients and teaching them how to re-connect with their bodies through movement. I am a business owner, a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and a personal trainer. In addition to training I also host the Liveng Proof Podcast and co-host an additional podcast Gal Pals.
One of the most common statements I hear from my personal training clients is that they don't really know what to do once they get to the gym. And for a lot of the women I've worked with, this is often some variation of cardio: things like running or spin classes.

I am also aware that not everyone can afford to continuously work one-on-one with a personal trainer but I believe this shouldn't be the barrier to entry for access to higher quality training.I started offering 12-week training programs to clients who felt this was a better option for them, and the feedback I've received from them as been overwhelmingly positive!
There's a lot of pressure on personal trainers to deliver a service to clients that want to lose weight or change their bodies. As I began my own path to recovery from diet culture, I struggled to offer my services in good conscience to my personal training clients. What the industry seemed to want, went against my inner values of trying to promote and educate clients on the practice of intuitive movement, intuitive eating, and body respect.

I love working with Engrid. She has helped me immensely on my healing journey from chronic pain. After learning about her story, I knew that working with her as my personal trainer, I knew it would be a great fit. She is extremely knowledgeable and intuitive with movement. The exercises she has provided to me have helped me run again after a chronic knee injury and gain control over my pelvic floor dysfunction. Working with her is something I look forward to every week, which is saying something when movement comes with chronic pain! Thank you!!

Engrid designed a professional, personalized 12-week workout program for me that improved my overall athletic capacity and skills. She took the time to talk with me about my priorities and personal goals, and then she incorporated all of that feedback into my program. We met over Zoom so that Engrid could do a movement and postural analysis before creating my workout plans. During this session I had some major lightbulb moments about my body, and these insights helped me to improve my form and address some areas of need. Engrid is simply wonderful and amazing; she brings energy, knowledge, compassion, and kindness to all of her podcasts, posts, and physical training. Her desire to help, share, and spread positivity is beautiful. You will never regret taking the time to listen to her podcasts, and if anything, it will be hard to press pause until you can finish!
