The Carriage House is a 4 bedroom cottage settled in a private wooded area on 8 acres. Anna's Quietside is a 5 minute walk into the heart of Southwest Harbor village and harbor, a 20 minute drive to Bar Harbor, and only 5 minutes drive to Acadia National Park. The Carriage House has 3 bedrooms and a full bath on the 1st floor, and 1 bedroom with a balcony and full bath on the 2nd floor.
The Cranberry Cottage is a charming 2 bedroom cottage settled in a private wooded area on 8 acres. The Cranberry Cottage is a traditional Maine summer cabin, with wood floors, walls and ceilings. This unique Tipi and outside bath is the newest addition to our accommodations. It is settled in a private wooded area on 8 acres. Anna's Quietside is within walking distance of Southwest Harbor village and the harbor, a 20-minute drive to Bar Harbor, and only 5 minutes to Acadia National Park. The Tipi is equipped with a mini-refrigerator, microwave, Weber ceramic propane BBQ (outside), and a full bath outside.
We have WiFi, a wide selection of books, periodicals and references for all tastes and ages. We encourage you to find something to borrow for the week that interests you. We have all the local business brochures and hiking maps you will find at the Chamber as well. These brochures are for businesses that we stand behind and that our guests enjoy and recommend.
There's lots to do at Anna's, even in this quiet season. Imagine going snowshoeing on the Carriage Roads, and then coming back to a cozy cottage, toasting marshmallows and having some hot cider. Or making snowmen on the field. And there's no lack of Cross - Country Skiing or Ice Fishing to be had. We have also heard of the odd person Ice - Sailing!

I booked the Pavilion cottage on Airbnb and within 18 hours I requested to switch to the Lookout cottage that was priced slightly higher. Victoria told me that Airbnb does not not offer the ability to switch properties, and that cancelling would be non refundable (it was a nonrefundable reservation). After speaking with Airbnb customer support, I was told that switching properties is easy to do through an “alteration”, and that Airbnb would be able to quickly make the change if both Victoria and myself confirmed the change. Victoria was not willing to confirm the change, her only reason being

Oh, they're "cottages" alright!
I've literally stayed in trailer parks nicer than this and I have no clue how anyone could charge more than $150/night for what amounts to be someone's dumpy backyard. I was duped by the (what-must-be) fake reviews and misleading photos while trying to book a long weekend getaway for my family several months ago during COVID.
More importantly, I second fellow Yelper AnnMarie B's opinion of the owner. The interaction with him was certainly not flattering on his behalf. Let me just say it's all about the benjamins with this guy

BEWARE!!! Just before COVID hit (February 2020) we rented Anna's Pavilion for June 2020. Unfortunately we were unable to go because of COVID but the owner, Marc Chalfoun, refused to refund our money or help us reschedule for the following year! I would suggest staying away from renting from him as he was completely inflexible with the situation.

At cute little cabin which is perfect for a relaxing vacation but the management makes it hard to appreciate the place.
1) Instructions on how to drive to the place would only work if you arrive before sunset. If you were to arrive a little late (traffic) it is hard to spot the landmarks provided in the instructions and this leaves you roaming around the property and walking up to the doors of every occupied cabins until you find yours. You cannot call or message host or reception after 7 so be aware of that if you are stuck in a traffic jam.

We loved our stay at Anna’s Quietside Cottages! We went up to stay with the whole family and this was a lively place to accommodate our stay in Southwest Harbor. The place was quaint, peaceful and owners were very helpful with our many questions. We would highly recommending staying here to any of our family and friends.

Marc is very helpful and welcoming. We stayed at the Pavilion (9 of us - 4 adults & 5 kids) in January. It was breathtakingly beautiful. The property boasts a scenic secluded eight acres but within walking distance to South West Harbor. We were here during the snowstorm/negative temperatures and enjoyed our stay. If you are a winter adventurer, this location make a great place to stay.
The Pavilion is setup so that you walk into the open floor plan with a kitchen to your left, a large dining area (seats 10) to your right, and a huge family room with TV straight ahead. If you walk down the hallway

You can really tell the place was crafted with love. They build a new cottage every year and accommodate for all of your needs. Books, games, movies and more are all available in the rec room and the hosts help you with anything you can ask for. It was near the town but out of the way. Lots of great hikes and sights nearby but it's great to even just isolate yourself in a cottage for the week. Highly recommended.
