A definitely "on-the-ocean" vacation rental property, situated immediately above the shore of Hulls Cove on the Atlantic Ocean, in Bar Harbor. Owned for 40 years. Perhaps the first vacation rental property in the Hulls Cove property, beginning more than 25 years ago. Your thoughtful touches are evident everywhere, everything is better than expected and I'm becoming quite enamored of this particular spot on earth! We had a marvelous family time together at your lovely home, and wish we could have stayed for a month! We very much enjoyed the stay, the house is lovely and interesting, so well equipped, and in a great location.

The "Menu" of this web site offers a link to an "interactive floor plan (virtual tour)". That floor plan helpfully allows the viewer to see photos of every room in the house, from every angle of each room. There are more than 75 such selectable photos. Until 15,000 years ago, a mile-high gouging glacier formed the Island's dramatic and cascading cliffs that plunge nearly straight down to a swirling ocean below.

Oceansedge♥️If we could give this beautiful place and gorgeous home 10 Stars, we would!!! 1 week in October wasn’t enough time to enjoy all the delights of this Wonderland! Elegant architectural design, lovely decor, comfy beds and furnishings, spotlessly clean, intriguing history, awesome artwork and the Libraries filled with the most captivating books! A Bibliophile’s Dream come True!!!♥️Our Host was so kind, friendly and generous! He gave us a fascinating tour of the home and grounds - Thank you so much Mr. D!♥️There are not enough words to describe how Awesome Oceansedge is

If you appreciate truth in advertising you will enjoy your stay at Oceansedge. The pictures and descriptions capture the home perfectly but the in person experience is even better.
Every member of our group of 9 enjoyed their time and would say "yes" to a return visit for different reasons. Who would have thought that our almost-adult children could be so captivated by the resident chipmunks, squirrels and ducks? Or, who would have expected the competitive nature of our oldest guests would come alive in our daily bocce "tournaments."
This is truly a place that we hope to return to again.

Based on the beautiful website & the owner's enthusiastic responses to me emails, my expectations were very high. They were more than met. It's a beautiful home in an inspiring location & the owner could not have been more helpful. It was great to get away from the chaos in the village on this very crowded holiday week. Hope to return.
