Dr. Shirvanian and her staff are so personable and have you feeling right at home in an instant even at the end of their day. At the busiest time of the year they were able to squeeze me in the following day for an exam, etc. Dr. Shirvanian really cares and you can see it in her dedication to get your lenses right by getting to know you and what your priorities are as far as sight goes. This is my new optical care office moving forward. I will be sending my husband as well. Thank you Dr. and staff for such great service!

Since I arrived early for my appointment, I was browsing briefly, on my way to the desk, looking at frames, before checking in. From the desk, which is at the far rear of the store, someone asked if I had an appointment, and I said yes and gave her my name. Then I continued browsing.

The staff is warm and inviting.
The Shervanian is a genius.
She explains all the steps she takes you thru during the eye exam and She interviews you, to get to know you better and see how you use your eyes. I picked up my glasses today; one for distance and one for close up work. All I can say is AMAZING!

I highly recommend Oculus Optometry. The staff was very helpful and courteous. They were very timely with their appointments, their office is very inviting and they have nice display of glasses to choose from. Dr. Shirvanian is AWESOME!! She explained all aspects of the examination, she provided an opportunity to ask questions and was very professional.

I recently moved to Pasadena and needed new contacts. Luckily I found Oculus on Yelp and was able to get a same day appointment. Dr. Shirvanian is amazing. My prescription is difficult, but she was so patient and thorough, kind and friendly. The doctor and the whole team there lived up to the many five-star reviews. I am a happy client. Thank you!

Small business, kindness is fake. Expensive frames. And a small amount of discount frames.
Don't work for them as an employee, you get over worked and under trained. You will get fired . The turn over rate seems to be yearly. I learned the hard way. If you are looking into moving into this office I would not recommend it. #fakesmiles

What an AWESOME boutique
I’m so glad I found this place!! I needed to change my frames and update my prescription
They were very kind to work with my insurance but I grabbed a pair on my dime to treat myself.
The doctor was great! No pressure, no rush, Answered every question I had and went out of her way to walk me through every step necessary to maintain eye health and pick up the frames I wanted/needed.
10/10 will definitely make my way back here again.

After I received my glasses, my glasses need to get some maintenance but it turned out my glasses were discontinued so all the pets were unavailable. If you are not purchasing, the workers here will not contact you for other minor services... So I keep following up and still everything is taking forever.
After weeks of following up, the store manager says she will give me a new pair of glasses but as a courtesy but I need to pay a small fee. (it was about a $50-$100). I told her it's nice that I can get a new set of glasses but I don't feel like I should have to pay anything out of

I was a little skeptical from all of the 5 star reviews... Dr. Shirvanian and her team is first class. I felt really comfortable coming in during Covid, all of the proper precautions were taken. The Dr. took the time to answer my questions about the prescription and the follow up was phenomenal. The reason for the 6 stars also has to be the team; Jessica was so up to date on making sure I was ok with the adjustments and following up. Customer service sets the tone and Oculus is one of the best.

I rarely write reviews, but I want to make sure I take a moment to thank Dr. Shirvanian and her staff for their great service. Nothing seems simple in these COVID days, but Oculus made my recent eye exam and selection of new glasses a breeze. Staggered appointments so you have the store to yourself, great safety considerations including temperatures checks, hand washing upon arrival, and thorough santization of their equipment and sample frames. Occulus Optometry met my high expectations. The staff is good about working the insurance to the best use for what I wanted in the way new glasses. Love the space, and expertise of the Optometrist. She is amazing and accurate. I have the best 'computer glasses' I've ever owned -- specially dialed-in for my hundreds of hours of online development. 1st visit. Great experience. Highly recommend this optometry location. Free street parking. Good adherence to CDC guidelines. By appointment only during COVID. They take your temp before entering & have you wash your hands 1st thing when you enter.
The ladies at the front desk were friendly, knowledgeable about what my insurance covered, and upfront about prices. I always appreciate that because no one wants surprise charges when they go to the doctor.

Dr. Shirvanian has been amazing, I cannot recommend her enough. Very professional, thorough and kind. She is perhaps the best optometrist I've ever had, and I've had a few good ones!
The two young ladies at the front desk, Karina and Jessica are very helpful and have provided the BEST customer service every time I have had the pleasure of speaking to them.
Overall, this place is great, very clean, friendly staff, great Doctor. Parking is easy to find on the street, and the young ladies

I have been seeing Dr. Shirvanian for a few years now and a review is way overdue! First of all the clinic is beautiful with the glasses neatly displayed and an inviting atmosphere. Parking is fairly easy with plenty of street parking. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Dr.Shirvanian is so warm and great at what she does! She does a thorough examination and always makes sure to ask how life/work is going. Something so simple yet it goes so far! I wish more doctors took the time to check-in on patients in this way. I've been going here for years and they always have such friendly service when you check in and out and the doctor here is great as well! They also have a wide selection of glasses in their store front should you need them.
During the pandemic they require masks, temperature check at the door, and hand washing. They sanitize glasses, pens, equipment as well!

We were so happy to have found Dr. Karina's office. We read the reviews and gave her a try. It was my newly turned 13-year-old's first time visit with an ophthalmologist. Dr. Karina was sweet, patient, and good at what she does. Give her a try, I'm not a huge reviewer, but it's important to note when you find a good business. Office staff is great as well. Jessica who's at the front desk goes above and beyond to help. All around, great place!

I made an appointment for an eye exam, and I was very pleased the way they were taking extra precautions for the COVID. I was welcomed by the lady when I arrived and she walked me to the sink to wash my hands first thing, which I really liked, knowing when someone comes in that have clean hands touching or trying the glasses. I noticed they sanitized each glasses as someone would try them on. They are very nice and friendly. They helped me out with the many questions i had with a smile. On each use of machines for tests the doctor would alcohol swab everything in front of me. She was also nice

This is a fantastic place, which I will strongly recommend to anyone! As noted it is a bit pricey. For that price the quality of product, the efficiency of service and the fantastic customer relations you have here is well worth it. I came here after having dealt with a bigger, "well known" and cheaper establishment. It was absolutely worth the extra 20% in dollars, for a 100% improvement in my prescription and quality of glasses, along with really noteworthy service.

The associate manager, Carina Pambakian is by far the most helpful employee in this entire store. She is not only knowledgable about everything eyewear, she provides a very comfortable space for something as invasive as an eye exam. After the exam, Carina is very helpful in finding the right pair of glasses for you. She can predict which pair can flatter the features of my face even before I try them on. She is truly an incredible asset to this team and by far the most experienced manager this store has ever had.
I now look forward for my next pair so long as Carina is working.

Carina and Myrna are absolute sweethearts. They took the time to answer all my questions and concerns over the phone and followed up days before my appointment to make sure my situation was getting worst.
Dr Shirvanian is very kind and caring. She's very knowledgeable and takes her time educating her patients about their condition and all the options that are available to them.

First time ever getting an eye exam and I came to the perfect place. Dr. Shirvanian and her assistant this morning was more than I could ask for. Place made me feel safe, they are exceptionally clean and reassure they are taking the measures to keep you safe when you come in. I can't wait to get my glasses and again so happy that I went with them.

I called this office needing a 911 appointment because I had broken my only pair of glasses. VSP sent me a list of providers....this was the only optometrist to give me a same day appointment while most others were almost a month out to see due to covid backlog. They took my medical/Medi caid and my exam...frames and lenses...were covered at 100 percent. The entire staff was warm and friendly. They were also professional and I feel really went out of their way to get me in that day. If anyone in the area is looking for a quality eye exam and an office that values your business I would suggest giving

The way they have laid out the frames is very cool since you can just browse through all of them as you walk along the really long displays running along both side walls of the office. And the displays are nicely lit from above and below giving you a clear look at the frames.
