Respecting individual differences of each practitioner, we wanted to create a safe space for everyone to practice yoga. At Anahata Yoga we welcome everyone - whether or not you have practiced yoga before we believe there is a class at the studio that is perfect just for you. Our space can only accommodate up to 12 people at a time giving our teachers the opportunity to provide individual attention to every student in their practice.

Instructions on how to join a class online or in studio, and what to expect can be found here. This combo gives you 5 Aerial Yoga class passes and 5 Mat Yoga class passes at a slightly better price than if purchased separately. This option includes all our weekly classes and doesn't include special events (aerial or mat).
This is a perfect class to bring balance back to your day! Enjoy gentle movement to stretch your muscles and restore longer breathing cycles, followed by a guided relaxation/meditation at the end. The class is appropriate for practitioners of all levels, including those brand new to yoga.
Beginners will enjoy the gentle flow of movements with a bit of an extra guidance from the teacher, while experienced students might enjoy this class on days they feel like being extra careful and gentle with themselves.This class is a wonderful place to start if you're not sure what to choose from our class menu.

Aerial Yoga is a style of yoga where the postures are done with the support of/inside of a silk Aerial Hammock. You still need a yoga mat for this class. Please, bring your own yoga mat to class as we are currently not offering mat rentals. The hammocks are securely attached to a reliable structure in the ceiling and allow for a great support in inversions as well as more therapeutic postures.
Anahata School of Yoga and Mindful Movement is an RYS-200 (RYS stands for "Registered Yoga School"). What it means is that our faculty's qualifications and the syllabus for our 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training have been evaluated by the Yoga Alliance and are in compliance with their standards for such training programs.
Chakra theory is an ancient theory of 7 main energy centers (chakras) located alongside your spine - each responsible for it's own "territory" in your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being and balance. Chakras are energetic centers receiving, processing and reflecting the energy back to the world around us.

My daughter Bianca May just took her first junior aerial class and she loved it Soo much she informed me that I needed to have $ every month because she loved it lol. We live in Lykens, PA and it was about an hour drive and it was well worth it to see that beautiful smile on her face... Thank you Soo much Karen she has finally found something she likes loves.

I took the prenatal class with Shea during most of my pregnancy and it was fantastic! I had tried a few different studios that just weren’t the right fit until I found Anahata. The studio is clean and cozy, the prices are very reasonable, and Shea was an excellent teacher. I recently delivered and truly believe that the breathing techniques she taught in the course helped me to have my desired natural, medication-free birth. I look forward to taking more classes at the studio as soon as I’m able. Thank you, Shea and Anahata Yoga Studio!

Lena and her crew are amazing instructors. The atmosphere is relaxing and warm. I have been to several classes from Vinyasa Yoga, Aerial Yoga to Gentle Yoga with Guided Relaxation. I have also taken part in several of her special events and workshops such as the Hope Taylor, Psychic Medium, Henna and Vision Boards and Restorative Yoga! Each event is different and exciting and I have no doubt that you would enjoy being at Anahata as I have!

So I haven't done any sort of exercise in (inaudible), and I was slightly nervous to be in a small class where I couldn't hide in the back, get lost, and stumble through what I knew would be a difficult process. But 10 minutes in and Lena had me as comfortable as if I'd been going there for years. She described movements in a way that was so easy to follow that I simply KNEW by the end of the class I could totally do it again. There was no stumbling, no getting lost. It was a well guided process that I didn't know I needed, but that made my start into yoga and back into activity
